Hepatocyte nuclear factor 3γ(HNF3γ)is a hepatocyte nuclear factor,but its role and clinical significance in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)remain ***,we report that HNF3γexpression is downregulated in patient HCC and inversely correlated with HCC malignancy and patient ***,our data suggested that the HNF3γreduction in HCC could be mediated by METTL14-dependent m6A methylation of HNF3γ***3γexpression was increased during hepatic differentiation and decreased in dedifferentiated HCC ***,HNF3γdelivery promoted differentiation of not only HCC cells but also liver CSCs,which led to suppression of HCC *** analysis suggested an HNF3γ-centered regulatory network that includes essential liver differentiation-associated transcription factors and functional molecules,which could synergistically facilitate HCC cell *** importantly,enforced HNF3γexpression sensitized HCC cells to sorafenib-induced growth inhibition and cell apoptosis through transactivation of OATP1B1 and OATP1B3 expression,which are major membrane transporters for sorafenib *** investigation showed that patient-derived HCC xenografts with high HNF3γexpression exhibited a sorafenib response and patients with high HCC HNF3γlevels benefited from sorafenib ***,these results suggest that HNF3γplays an essential role in HCC differentiation and may serve as a therapeutic target and predictor of sorafenib benefit in patients.

Global pattern and trend of liver cancer survival: a systematic review of population-based studies

Aim:To describe the global pattern and trend of liver cancer survival,using data from the population-based studies or cancer ***:By searching CNKI,Wanfang Data,PubMed,Web of Science,EMBASE and *** population-based survival studies of liver cancer from 1 January 2000 to 30 April 2020 were collected and evaluated by patient gender,time period,and *** overall or age-standardized five-year relative survival rate was used to describe the pattern and changes in liver cancer survival over the past ***:Globally,the highest age-standardized five-year relative survival rate was observed in Italy(18.0%,2005-2007)and the highest overall five-year relative survival rate was observed in Korea(34.6%,2012-2016),when compared to other *** most remarkable increase in overall five-year relative survival rate can be seen in Korea(from 10.7%during 1993-1995 to 34.6%during 2012-2016).In general,worldwide,the five-year relative survival rate of younger patients with liver cancer was higher than old *** most countries,the five-year relative survival rate of liver cancer was slightly higher in women than in *** China,the overall five-year relative survival rate of liver cancer in Taiwan was higher than that in other areas,while Cixian of Hebei and Qidong of Jiangsu were ***:Over the past decades,the survival rates of liver cancer have gradually improved,but great variations are also observed ***,younger patients with liver cancer have experienced a better *** disparity in liver cancer survival was not obvious.

Analysis of the CHRNA7 gene mutation and polymorphism in Southern Han Chinese patients with nocturnal frontal epilepsy

Objective:To detect the CHRNA7 gene mutation and polymorphism in Southern Han Chinese patients with nocturnal frontal lobe epilepsy(NFLE).Methods:Blood samples were collected from 215 Southern Han Chinese patients with NFLE and 200 healthy Southern Han Chinese control *** DNA was extracted,and CHRNA7 whole genome exons were amplified by the polymerase chain reaction and subjected to Sanger ***:No CHRNA7 gene mutation was detected in all of the NFLE ***,five single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)in sporadic cases were found,located in exons 5,*** 7 of the CHRNA7 *** them,c.690G>A and c.698A>G are known SNPs,while c.370G>A,c.654C>T,and c.497-498delTG were newly discovered *** SNPs were also found in some of the healthy ***:No CHRNA7 gene mutation was identified in Southern Han Chinese patients with *** CHRNA7 gene is probably not responsible for NFLE in this population.

老年患者下呼吸道感染病原菌分布及耐药性分析

目的探讨呼吸内科老年患者下呼吸道感染病原菌分布及其耐药性,为临床用药提供依据。方法选取2011年7月-2013年5月420例下呼吸道感染老年患者的痰液标本进行细菌培养及耐药性分析;采用K-B纸片扩散法进行药敏试验,参照CLSI 2012年版标准... 详细信息

目的探讨呼吸内科老年患者下呼吸道感染病原菌分布及其耐药性,为临床用药提供依据。方法选取2011年7月-2013年5月420例下呼吸道感染老年患者的痰液标本进行细菌培养及耐药性分析;采用K-B纸片扩散法进行药敏试验,参照CLSI 2012年版标准进行判定;采用SPSS15.0软件进行统计分析。结果共分离出960株病原菌,多数为混合感染,其中革兰阴性菌685株占71.4%,以肺炎克雷伯菌、铜绿假单胞菌、鲍氏不动杆菌为主,革兰阳性菌191株占19.9%,以金黄色葡萄球菌、溶血葡萄球菌为主,真菌84株占8.7%,以白色假丝酵母菌为主;病原菌对常用抗菌药物均产生了一定的耐药性,肺炎克雷伯菌对氨曲南及磺胺甲噁唑/甲氧苄啶的耐药率最高,分别为63.8%、63.4%,对亚胺培南的耐药率为0;金黄色葡萄球菌、溶血葡萄球菌及肠球菌属对替考拉宁及万古霉素的耐药率均为0,而对青霉素的耐药率均>80.0%。结论加强病原菌耐药性监测,根据药敏结果合理使用抗菌药物,有助于对老年下呼吸道感染患者进行及时有效的治疗,尽早控制呼吸道感染。

development of Double Antibody Sandwich ELISA for detection of Duck or Goose Flavivirus

In order to establish double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （DAS-ELISA） for detection of duck or goose flavivirus, polyclonal antibody against the flavivirus strain JS804 in geese and monoclonal antibody against the E protein of flavivirus strain JS804 in geese were used as the capture antibody and detection antibody, respectively. The optimal dilution of the capture antibody and detecting antibody capable of detecting the flavivirus strain JS804 in geese were 1：3 200 and 1：160 in the check-board titration, respectively. The reaction time of sample was 1 h, and the optimal working dilution of HRP-labeled goat-anti-mouse IgG was 1：10 000. The positive standard value was 0.247 （OD450.m）. The geese flavivirus could be detected at a minimal concentration of 1.875 μg mL^-1. The ELISA had no cross-reaction with Newcastle disease virus （NDV）, Avian influenza virus （AIV）, Infectious bronchitis virus （IBV）, Infectious bursal disease virus （IBDV）, Duck hepatitis virus （DHV）, and Gosling plague virus （GPV）. Twenty clinical samples were detected by the DAS-ELISA and RT-PCR respectively, with the agreement rate of 75%. The results revealed that the DAS-ELISA possessed favorable specificity and higher sensitivity, indicating a suitable method for rapid detection of the duck or goose flavivirus.

Propofol (2,6-diisopropylphenol) has been widely used in clinical surgery because of its fast induction and rapid recovery effects (Miller et al., 2014). Although the underlying mechanisms are still controversial, many studies have focused on the augmentation of GABA-induced inhibition and/or modulation of glycine receptor channel activity. However, inhibition of glutamatergic synaptic transmission may also contribute to general anesthesia. The effects of general anesthetics are significantly enhanced when glutamate receptor antagonists are co-administered (Ishizaki et al., 1996).

The single-event effect(SEE) is a serious threat to electronics in radiation environments. The most important issue in radiation-hardening studies is the localization of the sensitive region in electronics to the SEE. To solve this problem, a prototype based on a complementary metal oxide semiconductor(CMOS) pixel sensor, i.e., TopmetalM, was designed for SEE localization. A beam test was performed on the prototype at the radiation terminal of the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou(HIRFL). The results indicated that the inherent deflection angle of the prototype to the beam was 1.7°, and the angular resolution was 0.6°. The prototype localized heavy ions with a position resolution of 3.4 μm.
