The mechanical model of vertical planetary mill is set up, whose dynamic and kinetic characteristics are described as well. Based on the analysis of system dynamics of vertical planetary mill, virtual prototyping technology is applied in the simulation of this mill. The development of virtual prototype of equipment, virtual test and optimization of virtual prototype are stated in detail. Some useful conclusions which have theoretical meaning for the manufacturing of vertical planetary mill have been obtained. Furthermore, it is pointed out that virtual prototyping technology shows great advantage and is bound to become a main method of developing product in the future.

Jinchuan nickel mine is the largest nickel mine in china. Cut-and-fill mining method with high density cementing materials is used in the mine. The original mining design divided the mining operation into two steps. The first step stopped the mining rooms and the second step stopped the pillars. Because the two-step method made big trouble for finally mining pillars and strongly limited the mining speed and production, it was successfully changed to a continuous cut-and-fill method without pillars. However, the mining operation in the mine has been down to 800 m and the mining condition is getting worse and more complicated. Through systematical field investigations and 3-D FEM analysis, it is proved that the mining method without pillars is feasible for mining deeper orebodies in Jinchuan nickel mine.

In terms of mineral transformation, and chemical composition of acid-soluble component as a function of reaction time, the effect of alkaline solution on zeolite-like fly ash was studied by employing fly ash and NaOH solution as starting materials. When fly ash and 1-10 mol/L NaOH solution were processed at 100 degreesC for 24 h with 1:10 W/S ratio in a relatively closed system, powder XRD patterns of resulting products indicated the formation of various zeolites. Zeolite P crystallized early at low alkaline concentration, which was replaced then by zeolites X and A. At high concentration, hydroxy sodalite was the only new phase. Quartz, in fly ash and NaOH solution system, gradually dissolved, and mullite, however, remained stable. It was concluded that, with Al/Si and Na/Si finally reaching equilibrium in molar ratio, composition of starting mixtures affects the crystallization of zeolite from fly ash.

To predict rock burst in deep mining excavation in linglong gold mine, systematical laboratory tests of mechanical properties of rock, in situ stress measurement and 3-D FEM analysis on energy distribution in rock mass surrounding deep mining rooms were carried out. According to various prediction criteria of rock burst, it is concluded that rock burst is liable to occur during deep mining excavation in the mine.

To study the feasibility of treated water being used as rinsing water with CP/ED (chemical precipitation/ electrodialysis) system, the relation between concentration of Cr (Ⅵ) and conductivity of water is investigated, the effect of electrodialysis (ED) for different wastewater is also studied. And several parameters of importance that are relevant to the process are identified. Analysis of ICP (Inductively coupled plasma) and IC (Ion chromatography) shows that the main reason of conductivity increase in CP treated water is the increase of Na+ and Cl- ions. The 93.8%-100% of ions from wastewater both in ED and CP/ED systems was removed successfully. The results of experiments indicate that the CP/ED system is a feasible method for electroplating wastewater treatment, the CP/ED system used as a way of wastwater is not only in favour of environment, but also economic beneficial to achieve.

Modified fuzzy point estimate method and its application to slope reliability analysis

A slope engineering system is a complex system, in which many uncertaintiesexist, including random uncertainties and fuzzy uncertainties. Traditionally, random uncertaintieswere often considered, while fuzzy uncertainties were ignored. Therefore, fuzzy-random methodsshould he proposed. A fuzzy point estimate method was proposed by Dodagoudar, that is, consideringthe effect of fuzzy-random factors, the fuzzy-random limit state function of slopes is changed torandom interval limit state function by the lambda level cutting, then the moments of the functioncan be obtained by the Rosenblueth's method, and the stability state of slopes can be evaluated bysynthesizing a group of moments. But in Dodagoudar's method, Rosenblueth's state function iscomposed of only two kinds of combinations of parameters rather than 2~n kinds of combinations. So amodified fuzzy point estimate method is proposed by the authors, and it is used in a slopereliability analysis.

Based on the measuring data of underwater blasting vibration and theregression analysis results of these data, two formulae usually used of blasting vibration velocitywere compared. Factors that can affect blasting vibration and frequency were summarized andanalyzed. It is thought that the effect of the number of freedom face and burden direction onblasting vibration should be considered during blasting design. Based on the relevant researchresults and the regression results of these data, a formula to calculate under water blastingfrequency was put forward.

Recovery of Level Pillar between Open-pit and Underground Mine by Using Underhand Heading Fill Method

The upper part of the Fujia deposit was mined out by open-pit, and the lower part is being mined underground. The level pillar between open-pit and underground mine had a thickness of 24 m, a length of 300 m and a maximum width of 35 in. As the level pillar contained about 5.2 million ton ore of high nickel grade, it was necessary to recover the level pillar. Because of special need of safety, underhand heading cut-and-fill stoping method was used. For the first two layers of heading, the cemented fill materials were a mix of water and high-aluminum-content cement with silicate gelling agent; and for other heading layers, total tailings was added into the fill mix in order to reduce the cement consumption. Finally, the level pillar was recovered successfully.

The even and transparent nanometer TiO2 thin films named DegussaP25 as photocatalysis deposited on the surface of diffusers of solar light pipe were prepared by sol-gel *** rugged side of the diffusers of solar light pipe was coated evenly with DegussaP25 solution for the quality of 1.75 *** experiments had showed that when the coated side was away from the sun the lighting degree may be reduced compared with that facing the *** average reduction was only 3.03%,which would not have a significant impact on *** are important parts of a light pipe which can diffuse light evenly to the place needed to be *** experiments showed that in a sunny summer day under the direct sunlight,the solar light pipe combined with photocatalysis could reduce the formaldehyde volume fraction in a box of 0.1 m3 from 1.0×10-6 to 0.16×*** 1 h of photodegradation the formaldehyde volume changed from 1.0×10-6 down to 0.1×10-6 with faster and more complete degradation of *** rate of degradation under cloudy and partly cloudy conditions was slower than that under sunny *** was slower in winter than in summer under sunny *** experimental results also showed that the performance of photocatalysis combined with diffusers of light pipe had better effect in a small *** performance in large space,such as open space,will be the next work in the future,which will be a great challenge.
