In early eukaryotes, the m.crotubule system.was engaged in m.tosis, intracellular transport, and flagellum.ased m.tility. In the plant lineage, the evolution of a m.lticellular body involved the conservation of som. core functions, the loss of others, and the elaboration of new m.crotubule functions associated with the m.lticellular plant habit. This diversification is reflected by the presence of both conserved （anim.l/fungi-like） and novel （plant-like） sequences encoding m.crotubule-related functions in the Arabidopsis genom.. The collection of m.crotubule m.tants has grown rapidly over recent years. These m.tants present a wide range of phenotypes, consistent with the hypothesis of a functional diversification of the m.crotubule system. In this review, we focus on m.tant analysis and, in particular, discuss double m.tant analysis as a valuable tool for pinpointing pathways of gene function. A future challenge will be to define the com.lete network of genetic and physical interactions of m.crotubule function in plants. In addition to reviewing recent progress in the functional analysis of the ＇m.Pom.＇, we present an online database of Arabidopsis m.tants im.aired in m.crotubule functions.

Signal traits are often linked with the physiological state and behavior of their bearer. Direct exam.nation of the causal links am.ng these variables has provided substantial insight into the inform.tion content of signals, and into the costs and benefits of signal expression. Yet recent em.irical work suggests that the social context in which signals are developed and displayed can play a m.jor role not only in how signals are received, but also in coordinating and m.diating the signaling phenotype itself. Here we review both well-established and em.rging evidence for direct feedbacks am.ng an individual＇s physiological state, be- havior, and signal elaboration. We then describe an integrative view of signaling that takes into account the bidirectional rela- tionships am.ng com.onents of phenotype and the social context in which signals are developed and displayed. Integrating dy- nam.c feedback between context and phenotype within m.dels of the evolution and m.intenance of signals m.y yield insights into how signals evolve, how signaling phenotypes are coordinated and m.intained on ecological and evolutionary tim. scales, and how static signals continue to convey relevant phenotypic inform.tion about their bearer through tim..

Context: The gut m.crobiota represents a com.lex ecosystem.encom.assing all unicellular m.croorganism. residing in the digestive tract, prim.rily bacteria, fungi, archaea, and even viruses. The relationship between the host and the m.crobiota is sym.iotic: bacteria benefit from.a stable environm.nt, while the host gains num.rous capabilities in term. of digestion, m.tabolism. nutrition, and im.unity. However, num.rous studies suggest that the gut m.crobiota plays a crucial role in various non-com.unicable diseases, including obesity, chronic inflam.atory bowel diseases, allergic and im.une disorders, behavioral disorders, and even certain cancers. The objective of our study was to characterize the gut m.crobiota of a group of breast cancer patients by com.aring it to that of control subjects in Côte d’Ivoire, using a m.tagenom.c approach. m.thod: A case-control study was conducted from.m.y 2020 to Septem.er 2023. A total of 85 wom.n (39 cases and 46 controls) were recruited, and stool sam.les were collected from.both breast cancer patients and healthy wom.n. Am.ng these, ten (10) sam.les from.patients and ten (10) sam.les from.healthy wom.n were random.y selected for the study of the gut m.crobiota. The gut m.crobiota was characterized by sequencing the V4 region of 16S rRNA using m.tagenom.c NGS technology, and bioinform.tic analysis was perform.d using the m.thur pipeline. Results: In wom.n with breast cancer, we observed a reduction in the relative abundance of the phyla Firm.cutes and Bacteroidetes, as well as an increase in the phyla Actinobacteria and Verrucom.crobia. Additionally, their m.crobiota exhibited lower Chao1 and Sobs diversities com.ared to the control wom.n (p m.lecular variance analysis (Am.VA) revealed a significant difference between the case and control groups (p m.jor phyla within the gut m.crobiota of cases com.ared to healthy controls. Background: ESBL-producing strains of Klebsiella pneum.niae, one of the m.in causes of nosocom.al and hospital-acquired infections, are com.only associated with therapeutic im.asses. Surveillance of these m.ltidrug-resistant pathogens is a crucial tool for controlling and preventing infections. This surveillance involves the use of appropriate m.lecular and phenotypic typing techniques. The choice of techniques is based on criteria such as discrim.natory power, intra- and inter-laboratory reproducibility, epidem.ological concordance, ease of use and cost. The aim.of our study was to identify clusters of Extended-Spectrum.Beta-Lactam.se-producing Klebsiella pneum.niae (ESBL-K. pneum.niae) strains circulating in neonatology using quantitative antibiogram.(QA) and Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE). m.terials and m.thods: This cross-sectional study included 55 K. pneum.niae strains isolated from.a total of 513 sam.les. These various sam.les are taken from.newborns, healthcare personnel, and the environm.nt. K. pneum.niae identification followed standard bacteriological procedures and was confirm.d using the Vitek® 2 (biom.rieux). The detection of the ESBL phenotype was perform.d using the synergy test. QA and PFGE were used to identify clonal relationships between the various strains isolated. Concordance between these two m.thods was assessed by calculating Cohen’s KAPPA coefficient and Sim.son’s diversity index. Results: Am.ng the 55 K. pneum.niae strains included in this study, 58.2% (32/55) were found to be Extended-Spectrum.Beta-Lactam.se (ESBL) producers. m.st of these strains were isolated from.neonatal sam.les (blood sam.les and rectal swabs). The quantitative antibiogram.m.thod applied to 28 out of the 32 ESBL-producing strains revealed that the isolates were grouped into 5 clusters. Background: The prevalence of both atrial fibrillation (FA) and diabetes m.llitus (Dm. is increasing and they often occur together and constitute a high risk of throm.osis. Rivaroxaban is a Factor Xa inhibitor with a rapid onset and disappearance of action after oral adm.nistration;it acts by inhibiting the active form.of the coagulation factor. In order to reflect the effect of the action of Rivaroxaban, we used the prothrom.in tim. (PT);however, it′s not the m.st accurate, but it is the one available in our com.unity. m.thods: This was a prospective, random.zed, analyst-blinded, parallel group clinical study to verify the efficacy of Rivaroxaban Leti 20 m. (RL) (12 volunteers vs Rivaroxaban Bayer 20 m. (RB) (13 volunteers). The variables were determ.nation of PT and Partial Throm.oplastin Tim. (aPTT) at baseline and at 24, 48 and 72 hours after adm.nistering a daily dose of 20 m. for three days. The determ.nation was carried out with the IDG m.thod (Integrated Diagnostics Group Sanzay Corporation) with an International Sensitivity Index (ISI) of 1.17 PT and aPTT were taken before the first dose, and then, every day during the next 3 days, three hours after the ingestion of their daily dose at 7 am. Results: The 25 healthy volunteers were sim.lar in age, Bm., and SBP/DBP level with a greater num.er of m.n in the Bayer group. The efficacy of rivaroxaban was sim.lar in both groups with prolongation of PTT to the 2nd day of treatm.nt with PT, and percentage changes from.baseline (14.46 ± 0.97 for RB vs 14.17 ± 0.94 RL p: 0.45), PTT results and percentage changes from.the base (RB: 34 ± 4.53 RL: 33.46 ± 2.82). The safety of rivaroxaban was good in both groups with no serious adverse events. The equivalence in the logarithm.cally transform.d PT result (ln) on day two, m.an and CI (90%) 99.2 (94.4-104) and 100 (99.5-100.8);neither the m.ans nor the 90% confidence intervals of the PT variable transform.d logarithm.cally to ensure its norm.lity, were far from.the 80%-125%

Photosynthesis leads to the fixation of carbon in leaves and to the accum.lation of carbohydrates （e.g., sucrose, starch）. This assim.lated carbon m.st be transported from.the leaves （source tissues） to non-photosynthetic organs （sink tissues）, such as roots and seeds. Despite the essentiality of this process in plants, a com.lete understanding of the actors involved in sucrose export from.leaves is lacking. SWEET proteins are a newly identified class of sugar transporters that facilitate dif- fusion of sugars across cell m.m.ranes down a concentration gradient. Rattlesnakes use chem.cal stim.li in am.ush site selection and for relocation of envenom.ted prey through atrike-induced chem.sensory searching. Shifts in responsiveness to prey chem.cals have been docum.nted in m.ny snakes, and often correlate with prey com.only taken as snakes increase in age and size as well as geographical locations of the species. For instance, neonate rattlesnakes that prey prim.rily on ectotherm. responded m.st strongly to chem.cal cues of com.only taken lizard prey, whereas adult rattlesnakes that prey prim.rily on sm.ll m.m.als responded significantly to chem.cal cues of com. m.nly taken rodents. In the current study, 11 Prairie Rattlesnakes Crotalus viridis viridis which were classified as large neonates based on m.asures of snout-vent length （SVL） and body m.ss, yet chronologically were at or near adulthood, were tested for their responsiveness to chem.cal extracts of natural and non-natural prey item.. Although the snakes had eaten only neonate lab m.ce （m.s m.sculus）, they responded significantly m.re to chem.cal cues of natural prey item. and particularly to chem.cal cues of prey norm.lly taken by subadults （Perom.scus m.ce and Sceloporus lizard）. These results suggest that ontogenetic shifts in re- sponsiveness to natural prey chem.cal cues are innately program.ed and are not based on body size or feeding experience in C. v. viridis. This does not im.ly, however, that growth and experience are without effects, especially with novel prey or rare prey that have experienced recent population expansion [Current Zoology 59 （2）： 175-179, 2013].
