Erosion wear at the bend of pipe during tailings slurry transportation:Numerical study considering inlet velocity,particle size and bend angle

Pipeline hydraulic transport is a highly efficient and low energy-consumption method for transporting solids and is commonly used for tailing slurry transport in the mining *** wear(EW)remains the main cause of failure in tailings slurry pipeline systems,particularly at *** is a complex phenomenon influenced by numerous factors,but research in this area has been *** study performs numerical simulations of slurry transport at the bend by combining computational fluid dynamics and fluid particle tracking using a wear *** on the validation of the feasibility of the model,this work focuses on the effects of coupled inlet velocity(IV)ranging from 1.5 to 3.0 m·s^(-1),particle size(PS)ranging from 50 to 650μm,and bend angle(BA)ranging from 45°to 90°on EW at the bend in terms of particle kinetic energy and incidence *** results show that the maximum EW rate of the slurry at the bend increases exponentially with IV and PS and first increases and then decreases with the increase in BA with the inflection point at 60°within these parameter *** comprehensive analysis reveals that the sensitivity level of the three factors to the maximum EW rate is PS>IV>BA,and when IV is 3.0 m/s,PS is 650μm,and BA is 60°,the bend EW is the most severe,and the maximum EW rate is 5.68×10^(-6)kg·m^(-2)·s^(-1).In addition,When PS is below or equal to 450μm,the maximum EW position is mainly at the outlet of the *** PS is greater than 450μm,the maximum EW position shifts toward the center of the bend with the increase in ***,EW at the bend can be reduced in practice by reducing IV as much as possible and using small particles.

Rheological and physicomechanical properties of rod milling sand-based cemented paste backfill modified by sulfonated naphthalene formaldehyde condensate

Rod milling sand(RMS)—a coarse sand aggregate—was recycled for cemented paste backfill(CPB)for the underground mined area at the Jinchuan nickel deposit,named rod milling sand-based cemented paste backfill(RCPB).The adverse effects of coarse particles on the transportation of CPB slurry through pipelines to underground stopes resulting in weakening of the stability of the backfill system are well ***,sulfonated naphthalene formaldehyde(SNF)condensate was used for the performance improvement of *** synergistic effect of solid content(SC),lime-to-sand ratio,and SNF dosage on the rheological and physicomechanical properties,including slump,yield stress,bleeding rate,uniaxial compressive strength(UCS),as well as mechanism analysis of RCPB,have been *** results indicate that the effect of SNF on RCPB performance is related to the SNF dosage,lime-to-sand ratio,and *** slump of fresh RCPB with 0.1wt%-0.5wt%SNF increased by 2.6%-26.2%,whereas the yield stress reduced by 4.1%-50.3%,indicating better workability and improved cohesiveness of the *** bleeding rate of fresh RCPB decreased first and then rose with the increase of SNF dosage,and the peak decrease was 67.67%.UCS of RCPB first increased and then decreased with the increase of SNF *** the optimal SNF addition ratio of 0.3wt%,the UCS of RCPB curing for 7,14 and,28 d ages increased by 31.5%,28.4%,and 29.5%,*** beneficial effects of SNF in enhancing the early UCS of RCPB have been ***,the later UCS increases at a slower *** research findings may guide the design and preparation of RCPB with adequate performance for practical applications.

Role of phosphorus on the biogeochemical behavior of cadmium in the contaminated soil under leaching and pot experiments

Phosphorus(P)is involved in various biochemical reactions in plant growth,so it is beneficial to plants growing in soils contaminated by metals,including cadmium(Cd).However,few studies have reported on the mechanistic roles of P in mitigating Cd toxicity to ryegrass root,and especially in alleviating the disruption of the mitochondrial function of living *** this study,the physiological and biochemical mechanisms associated with ryegrass growth under various Cd and P treatments were investigated using leaching and pot *** concentration of Cd in soil leachates showed a significantly positive relationship with redox potential(P<0.05),but negative relationship(P<0.05)with leachate pH values and dissolved organic carbon(DOC),indicating that exogenous P addition(as H_(2)PO_(4)*)may decrease Cd leaching from contaminated *** to the control(without P addition),the cumulative Cd content was reduced by 53.3%and 64.5%in the soil leachate with exogenous P application(20 mg/L and 80 mg/L),***,application of P decreased the Cd concentrations in the symplastic fractions and increased the Cd concentrations in the apoplastic fractions in root tips,which may help to alleviate Cd stress to the ***,exogenous P was found to play a positive role in mitochondrial function and Ca^(2+)variation in root cells under Cd stress,which provides novel insights into the mechanisms of exogenous P in alleviating plant Cd injury.

Bionic soft robotic gripper with feedback control for adaptive grasping and capturing applications

Robots are playing an increasingly important role in engineering *** robots have promising applications in several fields due to their inherent advantages of compliance,low density,and soft interactions.A soft gripper based on bio-inspiration is proposed in this *** analyze the cushioning and energy absorption mechanism of human fingertips in detail and provide insights for designing a soft gripper with a variable stiffness *** investigate the grasping modes through a large deformation modeling approach,which is verified through *** characteristics of the three grasping modes are quantified through testing and can provide guidance for robotics ***,the adaptability of the soft gripper is verified by grasping multi-scale and extremely soft ***,a cushioning model of the soft gripper is proposed,and the effectiveness of cushioning is verified by grasping extremely sharp objects and living ***,we validate the advantages of the variable stiffness of the soft gripper,and the results show that the soft robot can robustly complete assemblies with a gap of only 0.1 *** to the unstructured nature of the engineering environment,the soft gripper can be applied in complex environments based on the abovementioned experimental ***,we design the soft robotics system with feedback capture based on the inspiration of human catching *** feasibility of engineering applications is initially verified through fast capture experiments on moving *** design concept of this robot can provide new insights for bionic machinery.

研究岩爆倾向性对深井矿山的安全开采具有十分重要的意义。以某矿山为研究对象,采用一维云模型与多维云模型结合的手段,选取岩石应力系数、岩石脆性系数及岩石弹性应变能指数构建指标体系,对不同开采中段的3种矿岩进行岩爆倾向性评价。结果表明:该矿山设计开采范围(50 m~-450 m中段)内,顶板围岩整体为弱岩爆倾向,矿体整体为中岩爆倾向,底板围岩整体为弱岩爆倾向。

We report a leukocyte membrane-coated gallium nanoswimmer(LMGNS)capable of ultrasound-propelled motion,antibiofouling,and cancer cell recognition and *** LMGNS consists of a needle-shaped gallium core encapsulating an anticancer drug and a natural leukocyte membrane *** the propulsion of an ultrasound field,LMGNSs could autonomously move in biological media with a speed up to 108.7μms^(-1).The velocity and motion direction of the LMGNSs can be modulated by regulating the frequency and voltage of the applied ultrasound *** to the leukocyte membrane coating,LMGNSs can not only avoid biofouling during the motion in blood but also possess cancer cell recognition *** LMGNSs could actively seek,penetrate,and internalize into the cancer cells and achieve enhanced anticancer efficiency by combined photothermal and chemical *** biofunctionalized liquid metal nanoswimmer presents a new type of multifunctional platform for biomedical applications.

Creating large EMS populations for functional genomics and breeding in wheat

Wheat germplasm is a fundamental resource for basic research,applied studies,and wheat breeding,which can be enriched normally by several paths,such as collecting natural lines,accumulating breeding lines,and introducing mutagenesis *** methane sulfonate(EMS)is an alkylating agent that can effectively introduce genetic variations in a wide variety of plant *** this study,we created a million-scale EMS population(MEP)that started with the Chinese wheat cultivars‘Luyan 128’,‘Jimai 38’,‘Jimai 44’,and‘Shannong 30’.In the M1 generation,the MEP had numerous phenotypical variations,such as>3,000 chlorophyll-deficient mutants,2,519 compact spikes,and 1,692 male sterile *** were also rare mutations,including 30 independent tillers each with double *** M1 variations of chlorophyll-deficiency and compact spikes were inheritable,appearing in the M2 or M3 *** advance the entire MEP to higher generations,we adopted a single-seed descendent(SSD)*** other seed composites of M2 were used to screen other agronomically important traits,such as the tolerance to herbicide *** MEP is available for collaborative projects,and provides a valuable toolbox for wheat genetics and breeding for sustainable agriculture.

“曼德维尔悖论”尽管在形式逻辑上存在难以调和的矛盾,但从感性的“私恶”出发论证公共理性产生的独到视角,使其在近代伦理学发展史上有着独特的转折性地位.通过对私恶与道德、经济、政治之间关系的探讨,从道德实践的动机、现实物质基础与效果三个维度理解公共理性何以可能的问题,可以形成对“曼德维尔悖论”的批判性认识.在理论上,“曼德维尔悖论”使近代伦理学研究开始关注到情感因素的重要作用,为英国功利主义哲学的发展提供了重要的问题导向,化解了动机论与结果论的片面性,为解决动机与效果间的一致性问题提供了方案.但该理论本身也带有强烈的浪漫主义色彩,阶级的局限使曼德维尔将恶的产生仅仅归结到人性,并寄希望于“优秀政治家”的善良意志,因而无法像马克思那般深入到历史本质性维度发现“资本逻辑”的影响并提出变革不合理社会制度的设想.

在《历史与阶级意识》中,卢卡奇在充分借鉴马克思与韦伯两方面思想资源的基础上,形成了独具特色的物化理论,并以此展开对现代社会的批判,这个理论包括物化现象与物化意识两个方面。从文本中我们发现,卢卡奇对物化现象的揭示是按照现实—历史—原则—结果的逻辑线索展开的,在这条线索中,卢卡奇巧妙地融合了马克思的抽象劳动理论与韦伯的合理化原则,形成了对物化现象的阐述。在此基础上,为进一步揭示物化现象成为人类的“普遍命运”的事实,卢卡奇展开了对物化意识的讨论,这里不仅对马克思抽象劳动范畴予以全面展开,而且也实现了对韦伯思想的超越。
