In December 2019,the corona virus disease 2019(COVID-19)caused by novel coronavirus(SARS-CoV-2)emerged in Wuhan,China and rapidly spread *** information on clinical features and immunological profile of COVID-19 in *** clinical features and treatment outcomes of twelve paediatric patients confirmed as COVID-19 were *** immunological features of children patients was investigated and compared with twenty adult *** median age was 14.5-years(range from 0.64 to 17),and six of the patients were *** average incubation period was 8 ***,cough(9/12,75%)and fever(7/12,58.3%)were the most common *** patients(33.3%)had diarrhea during the *** to the immune profile,children had higher amount of total T cell,CD8t T cell and B cell but lower CRP levels than adults(P<0.05).Ground-glass opacity(GGO)and local patchy shadowing were the typical radiological findings on chest CT *** patients received antiviral and symptomatic treatment and the symptom relieved in 3e4 days after admitted to *** paediatric patients showed mild symptom but with longer incubation *** infected with SARS-CoV-2 had different immune profile with higher T cell amount and low inflammatory factors level,which might ascribed to the mild clinical *** advise that nucleic acid test or examination of serum IgM/IgG antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 should be taken for children with exposure history regardless of clinical symptom.

van der Waals(vdW)heterostructures constructed by lowdimensional(0D,1D,and 2D)materials are emerging as one of the most appealing systems in next-generation flexible ***,hand-stacked vdW-type photodetectors are not compatible with large-areaarray fabrication and show unimpressive performance in self-powered ***,vertical 1D GaN nanorods arrays(NRAs)/2D MoS_(2)/PEDOT:PSS in wafer scale have been proposed for self-powered flexible photodetectors arrays *** as-integrated device without external bias under weak UV illumination exhibits a competitive responsivity of 1.47 A W^(−1)and a high detectivity of 1.2×10^(11)Jones,as well as a fast response speed of 54/71μs,thanks to the strong light absorption of GaN NRAs and the efficient photogenerated carrier separation in type-II ***,the strain-tunable photodetection performances of device have been ***,the device at−0.78%strain and zero bias reveals a significantly enhanced photoresponse with a responsivity of 2.47 A W^(−1),a detectivity of 2.6×10^(11)Jones,and response times of 40/45μs,which are superior to the state-of-the-art self-powered flexible *** work presents a valuable avenue to prepare tunable vdWs heterostructures for self-powered flexible photodetection,which performs well in flexible sensors.

This study aims to develop a chloride diffusion simulation method that considers the hydration microstructure and pore solution properties during the hydration of tricalcium silicate(C3S).The method combines the hydration simulation,thermodynamic calculation,and finite element analysis to examine the effects of pore solution,including effect of electrochemical potential,effect of chemical activity,and effect of mechanical interactions between ions,on the chloride effective diffusion coefficient of hydrated C3S *** results indicate that the effect of electrochemical potential on chloride diffusion becomes stronger with increasing hydration age due to the increase in the content of hydrated calcium silicate;as the hydration age increases,the effect of chemical activity on chloride diffusion weakens when the number of diffusible elements decreases;the effect of mechanical interactions between ions on chloride diffusion decreases with the increase of hydration age.

The global spin alignment of vector mesons has been observed by the STAR collaboration at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider （RHIC） at Brookhaven National Laboratory （BNL）.It provides a unique opportunity to probe the correlation between the polarized quark and antiquark in the strongly coupled quark-gluon plasma （sQGP） produced in relativistic heavy ion collisions,opening a new window to explore the properties of s *** addition,spin alignments of vector mesons have also been observed in other high-energy particle collisions such as e+e-annihilations at high energies where hadron production is dominated by quark fragmentation *** results obtained are quite different from those obtained in heavy ion collisions where quark coalescence/combination mechanism dominates suggesting strong dependence on hadronization *** comprehensive studies in different hadronization processes are *** this article,we present a brief review of theoretical and experimental advances in the study of vector meson’s spin alignments in a variety of high-energy particle collisions,with emphasis on hadronization mechanisms.

Background： Serum cryptococcal antigen （CrAg） test is the most used noninvasive method to detect cryptococcal infection. However, false-negative CrAg test is not uncommon in clinical practice. Then, the aim of this study was to investigate the factors associated with false-negative CrAg test among non-human immunodeficiency virus （HIV） adult patients with pulmonary cryptococcosis and its clinical features. Methods： One hundred and fourteen non-HIV adult patients with pulmonary cryptococcosis, proven by biopsy, were retrospectively reviewed. Finally, 85 patients were enrolled; 56 were CrAg positive （CrAg＋ group） and 29 were negative （CrAg- group）. It was a cross-sectional study. Then, baseline characteristics, underlying diseases, clinical symptoms, laboratory findings, and chest radiological findings were reviewed and analyzed. Chi-square test was used to analyze categorical variable. Odds ratio （OR） was used to measure correlation. Student＇s t-test was obtained to analyze continuous variable. Results： No difference in baseline characteristics, underlying diseases, clinical symptoms, and laboratory findings were found between two groups （P 〉 0.05 in all）. Nevertheless, diffuse extent lesion was 82.1% in CrAg＋ group and 10.3% in CrAg- group （χ2 = 40.34, P〈 0.001; OR = 39.87）. Conclusions： Among patients with limited pulmonary involvement, a negative serum CrAg does not preclude the diagnosis of pulmonary cryptococcosis. However, among patients with extensive pulmonary involvement, serum CrAg is a useful diagnostic tool for pulmonary cryptococcosis. Furthermore, we also noticed that the untypical and mild presentations with extensive pulmonary lesion might be the features of pulmonary cryptococcosis, which needs further investigation.

The organotypic retinal explant culture has been established for more than a decade and offers a range of unique advantages compared with in vivo experiments and cell ***,the lack of systematic and continuous comparison between in vivo retinal development and the organotypic retinal explant culture makes this model controversial in postnatal retinal development ***,we aimed to verify the feasibility of using this model for postnatal retinal development studies by comparing it with the in vivo *** this study,we showed that postnatal retinal explants undergo normal development,and exhibit a consistent structure and timeline with retinas in ***,we used SOX2 and PAX6 immunostaining to identify retinal progenitor *** then examined cell proliferation and migration by immunostaining with Ki-67 and doublecortin,***-67-and doublecortin-positive cells decreased in both in vivo and explants during postnatal retinogenesis,and exhibited a high degree of similarity in abundance and distribution between ***,we used Ceh-10 homeodomain-containing homolog,glutamate-ammonia ligase(glutamine synthetase),neuronal nuclei,and ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule 1 immunostaining to examine the emergence of bipolar cells,Müller glia,mature neurons,and microglia,*** timing and spatial patterns of the emergence of these cell types were remarkably consistent between in vivo and explant *** study showed that the organotypic retinal explant culture model had a high degree of consistency with the progression of in vivo early postnatal retina *** findings confirm the accuracy and credibility of this model and support its use for long-term,systematic,and continuous observation.

Cells are the fundamental units of biological systems and exhibit unique development trajectories and molecular features. Our exploration of how the genomes orchestrate the formation and maintenance of each cell, and control the cellular phenotypes of various organismsis, is both captivating and intricate. Since the inception of the first single-cell RNA technology, technologies related to single-cell sequencing have experienced rapid advancements in recent years. These technologies have expanded horizontally to include single-cell genome, epigenome,proteome, and metabolome, while vertically, they have progressed to integrate multiple omics data and incorporate additional information such as spatial sc RNA-seq and CRISPR screening. Single-cell omics represent a groundbreaking advancement in the biomedical field,offering profound insights into the understanding of complex diseases, including cancers. Here, we comprehensively summarize recent advances in single-cell omics technologies, with a specific focus on the methodology section. This overview aims to guide researchers in selecting appropriate methods for single-cell sequencing and related data analysis.

Molten salts is a promising medium for heat storage and heat transfer due to their advantages of low cost, low steam pressure, high energy storage density and wide temperature range. In this paper, a new phase change mixture of molten salts with KNO3, NaNO3, ZnCl2, NaF, Na2CO3, NaCl, and MgO as materials has been prepared through a plenty of experiments. The experimental results show that the melting point of some molten salts can be reduced to 202.9°C, and the decomposition temperature can reach 701.3°C. In addition, its thermophysical properties, including specific heat, viscosity and thermal stability, were measured and analyzed. The average specific heat of some molten salts is as high as 2.53 J/（g K）, and the average thermal conductivity is as high as 0.77 W/（m K）. In the 4-day short-term thermal stability test, the fluctuation of each parameter is minimal, and the overall thermal physical property is relatively stable. Compared with the traditional phase change molten salt, the new hybrid molten salt has a significantly lower melting point, a further improvement in the decomposition temperature, specific heat and other comprehensive thermophysical properties, and a better overall economy, which has important application value in heat transfer and energy storage.
