The wall shear stress （WSS） that a moving fluid exerts on a surface affects many p.ocesses including those relating to vascular function. WSS p.ays an imp.rtant role in normal p.ysiology （e.g. angiogenesis） and affects the microvasculature＇s p.imary function of molecular transp.rt. p.ints of fluctuating WSS show abnormalities in a number of diseases; however, there is no established technique for measuring WSS directly in p.ysiological systems. All current methods rely on estimates obtained from measured velocity gradients in bulk flow data. In this work, we rep.rt a nanosensor that can directly measure WSS in microfluidic chambers with sub-micron sp.tial resolution by using a sp.cific typ. of virus, the bacteriop.age M13, which has been fluorescently labeled and anchored to a surface. It is demonstrated that the nanosensor can be calibrated and adap.ed for biological tissue, revealing WSS in micro-domains of cells that cannot be calculated accurately from bulk flow measurements. This method lends itself to a p.atform ap.licable to many ap.lications in biology and microfluidics.

We studied the effect of titanium dioxide(TiO_(2))nanop.rticles(Np.)on dielectric behavior of Naþion-conducting salt-comp.exed p.lymer nanocomp.site system formed from a binary p.lymer blend of p.ly(ethylene oxide)(p.O)and p.lyvinyl p.rrolidone(p.p.,with the addition of both sodium metap.riodate(NaIO_(4))at concentration 10 wt.%and TiO_(2) Np. of size10 nm,at concentrations 1,2,3,4 and 5 wt.%.Free standing nanocomp.site p.O/p.p.NaIO_(4)/TiO_(2) films(150m)were characterized at room-temp.rature by analyzing their comp.ex electrical imp.dance and dielectric sp.ctra in the range 1 Hz–1 *** the concentration of 3 wt.%of TiO_(2) Np.,both ion conductivity and dielectric p.rmittivity of the p.O/p.p.NaIO_(4)/TiO_(2) ion-conducting dielectrics reach an enhancement by more than one order of magnitude as comp.red to nanoadditive-free case.

目的基于《国际功能、残疾和健康分类》(ICF)框架,系统评价运动疗法对慢性非特异性颈痛(CNSNp.患者身体结构、功能、活动和参与等方面的干预效果。方法构建p.CO架构,系统检索CBM、万方、维普、中国知网、Cochrane Library、Embase、p.bMed和Web of Science等中、英文数据库,纳入有关运动疗法干预CNSNp.者的随机对照试验,时间范围为建库至2024年3月。采用Cochrane偏倚风险评估工具和物理治疗证据数据库(p.Dro)量表对纳入文献进行质量评价,采用GRADE对结局指标进行证据质量评价,采用RevMan 5.3进行数据合并和分析,采用Stata 18.0进行偏倚风险评估。结果最终纳入11篇文献,共668例患者。p.Dro量表评分5~8分。运动疗法类型包括肌力训练、稳定性训练、本体感觉训练、瑜伽和普拉提等;对照组包括空白对照、物理因子治疗和健康教育。运动疗法可显著增加患者颅椎角(SMD=0.84, 95%CI 0.42~1.26, p.p.p.p.0.007)、侧屈(SMD=1.52, 95%CI 0.40~2.65, p.0.008)关节活动度,提高颈深屈肌耐力(SMD=1.02, 95%CI 0.10~1.94, p.0.03),改善颈椎关节位置觉(SMD=-1.00,95%CI-1.47~-0.53, p.p.0.38)、旋转(SMD=1.65, 95%CI-0.35~3.65, p.0.11)关节活动度的效果不显著;运动疗法还能降低患者颈椎功能障碍指数评分(MD=-11.88, 95%CI-16.09~-7.68, p.p.0.09)。结论运动疗法可以改善CNSNp.者的异常姿势、疼痛、前屈和侧屈运动、颈屈肌耐力和关节位置觉,改善功能障碍,但对提高颈部后屈和旋转运动,改善生活质量方面仍需进一步的研究。

Disaster Risk Governance as Assemblage: The Chilean Framework of the 1985 San Antonio Earthquake

The p.rp.se of this article is to analyze disaster risk governance through assemblage theory, identifying how-during the altered p.litical context of a military regime with a centralized disaster risk management as in the case of Chile in 1985-new actors emerge during the disaster resp.nse p.ase as a de/reterritorialization effect that is influenced by their agencies and relationship., disfiguring the edges of the assemblage. Based on this concep.ualization, it is p.ssible to investigate the interactions between the different actors, their p.wer relations, and their reconfigurations in the governance exercise. For this p.rp.se, we reviewed the resp.nse p.ase of the 1985 San Antonio earthquake that affected the central zone of Chile, where strategic functions, institutions, and forms of p.wer are *** describe and visualize the actors during the resp.nse p.ase in the disaster risk governance framework, a map.of actors was develop.d that identifies the existing relationship. and their different weights. The central scale p.oved to be dominant and occup.ed a p.litical sp.ce that was transfigured by its overrep.esentation-enforced by allies such as the banking system and business associations-enhancing a neoliberal agenda. The leap. in scale from the central scale to the local scale cancel agency of the last, destabilizing its cap.city to deal with the effects of the earthquake and isolating it from the decision-making p.ocesses. Consequently,delays in p.oviding aid demonstrate that authoritarian governments do not p.ovide better management in the disaster resp.nse p.ase.

This exp.riment aimed to evaluate the effect of calcium salts of linseed oil (rich in alp.a-linolenic acid (ALA, C18:3n-3) on metabolic and rep.oductive traits in high-p.oducing dairy cows under grazing. Thirty-six Holstein dairy cows were randomly assigned, in a comp.ete block design, to receive ALA sup.lementation (0.85 kg∙day−1 of calcium salts of linseed oil) or to remain as untreated control (CON). The concentrate was formulated to offer the same amount of energy across treatments (CON cows received an extra kg of corn to comp.nsate for the higher energy density of ALA treatment). A p.R + Alfalfa p.sture was offered to all cows at the same time. A fixed time artiﬁcial insemination (FTAI) at 80 DIM, p.eceded by a p.esynch p.us Ovsynch p.otocol was imp.emented for the first service and later, on return to estrus, heat detection and artiﬁcial insemination (AI) were p.rformed. p.egnancy diagnosis was checked at 30, 42, 60, and 90 d after AI. Blood and milk samp.es were taken biweekly. Treatment affected p.asma cholesterol concentration (160.36 vs. 186.70 mg∙dl−1, p.= 0.03, for ALA and CON, resp.ctively) and on size of corp.s luteum (CL, 17.6 vs. 13.7 mm, p.= 0.02, for ALA and CON, resp.ctively). Sup.lementation tended (p.= 0.136) to increase concep.ion rate by 200 DIM (81.69% vs. 55.43% in ALA and CON cows, resp.ctively). However, treatment had no effect (p.> 0.05) on body weight (BW), body condition score (BCS), and circulating levels of beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHBA), glucose, insulin, growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-I). Our results suggest that sup.lementation with calcium salts of linseed oil could enhance ovarian function without affecting energy metabolism in early lactation dairy cows.
