Yu et al’s study in the World Journal of Gastroenterology(2023)introduced a novel regimen of Vonoprazan-amoxicillin dual therapy combined with Saccharomyces boulardii(***)for the rescue therapy against Helicobacter pylori(***),a pathogen responsible for peptic ulcers and gastric *** is a potassium-competitive acid blocker renowned for its rapid and long-lasting acid suppression,which is minimally affected by *** to proton pump inhibitors,which bind irreversibly to cysteine residues in the H+/K+-ATpase pump,Vonoprazan competes with the K+ions,prevents the ions from binding to the pump and blocks acid *** with increasing antibiotic resistance,effects on the gut microbiota,patient compliance,and side effects have led to the advent of a dual regimen for *** studies suggested that *** plays a role in stabilizing the gut barrier which improves *** eradication *** an acceptable safety profile,the dual-adjunct regimen was effective regardless of prior treatment failure and antibiotic resistance profile,thereby strengthening the applicability in clinical ***,*** comes in various formulations and dosages,warranting further exploration into the optimal dosage for supplementation in rescue ***,larger,randomized,double-blinded controlled trials are warranted to confirm these promising results.

The extensive research and development in perovskite solar cells (pSCs) have rekindled the hopes of converting solar energy into *** elusive understanding of underlying mechanisms is required for the development of efficient *** the years,Impedance Spectroscopy (IS) characterization,along with complementary techniques,has proven to be an effective way to understand and analyze the charge transport and recombination at interface and bulk of *** IS of pSCs have been analyzed,interpreted,and improvised continuously,revealing intricate details about the ***,there is a lack of centralized source of these details,which make it tougher to account for the generalized approach to understand the device *** present work is focused on compiling the research done on various pSC device architectures via IS to construct a comprehensive foundation of information on impedance plots,equivalent circuits,and associated processes.

Fabry disease (FD) is a rare X-linked lysosomal accumulation disorder caused by a deficiency in the enzyme alpha-galactosidase A (Gal A), resulting in excessive storage of glycosphingolipids, particularly globotriaosylceramide (Gb3). This leads to cellular dysfunction in various organs, with cardiovascular compromise being the major cause of morbidity and mortality. This study aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of FD focusing on its genetic, epidemiological, clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic aspects. This study explored the genetic mutations associated with FD, its epidemiology, clinical phenotypes, cardiac manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and current treatment options. Background: FD is caused by mutations in GLA on the X chromosome, with over 1000 identified variants. Neonatal screening and specific studies have shown an increased incidence of FD. The clinical presentation varies between classic and late phenotypes, with cardiac involvement being a major concern, particularly in late-onset FD. purpose: This study aimed to summarize the current knowledge on FD, emphasizing cardiac involvement, diagnostic modalities, and treatment options. Methods: A literature review of relevant studies on FD, including genetics, epidemiology, clinical presentation, diagnostic methods, and treatment options, was conducted. Results: Cardiac manifestations of FD included left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH), heart failure, arrhythmias, and sudden death. Diagnostic approaches such as electrocardiography, echocardiography, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging play crucial roles in the early detection and monitoring of cardiac involvement. Enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) and emerging treatments have shown promise in managing FD, although challenges remain. Conclusions: FD remains a challenging condition in cardiology, with under-diagnosis being a concern. Early detection and specific therapy are essential to improve patient outcomes. ●AIM:To evaluate the efficacy of pneumatic retinopexy(pR)in patients undergoing pR as primary treatment for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment(RRD)and analyze the factors associated with success and failure in the studied population.●METHODS:A retrospective chart review was done of patients with RRD treated with pR as primary management method treated at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai between January 2017 and December *** outcome measured success or failure of *** outcome measured best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)after pR.A separate risk analysis was done to identify and stratify risks associated with success and failure of pR.●RESULTS:A total of 179 eyes from 179 patients were included for final *** 83 patients(46.37%)achieved anatomical reattachment of the retina after primary pR with no need for additional *** 96 patients(53.63%)had a failed primary pR and required a ppV and 6 of them required pars plana vitrectomy(ppV)with scleral buckle(SB).In total,19 cases(10.61%)were done as temporizing pneumatics,18(94.74%)underwent ppV,and 1(5.26%)did not require further *** visual acuities at postoperative month 1(pOM1)for patients who underwent primary pR successfully and for those that underwent ppV after,were 0.58(20/80)and 1.03(20/200)*** who met pneumatic Retinopexy Versus Vitrectomy for the Management of primary Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment Outcomes Randomized Trial(pIVOT)criteria had a statistically significant decreased risk of primary pR failing(hazard ratio 0.29,p=0.00).Majority of missed or new breaks were found superotemporally.●CONCLUSION:pR is a good treatment option for treating RRDs in patients that meet pIVOT criteria and can be conducted as a temporizing *** criteria and fovea on status decrease the risk of pR failure.
