Systematic study of cluster radioactivity within the generalized liquid drop model

Cluster radioactivity is studied within the generalized liquid drop model(GLDM),in which the shell correction energy,pairing energy,and cluster preformation factor are *** calculations show significant improvements and can reproduce the experimental data within a factor of 8.04 after considering these physical *** addition,the systematic trend of the cluster preformation factors is discussed in terms of the n_(p)n_(n)scheme to study the influence of the valence proton-neutron interaction and shell effect on cluster *** is found that log10Pcis linearly related to n_(p)n_(n).This is in agreement with a recent study[*** et al.,***.C 108,014325(2023)],in which log10Pc,obtained using different theoretical models and treatment methods than those used in this study,also had a linear relationship with n_(p)n_(n).Combined with the work by Qi et al.,this study suggests that the linear relationship between log10Pcand n_(p)n_(n)is model-independen. and both the shell effect and valence proton-neutron interaction play essential roles in cluster *** analytical formula is proposed to calculate the cluster preformation factor based on the n_(p)n_(n)*** addition,the cluster preformation factors and the cluster radioactivity half-lives of some heavy nuclei are predicted,which can provide a reference for future experiments.

DEAR EDITOR,Big cats,such as Amur tigers(Panthera tigris altaica)and Amur leopards(*** orientalis),are apex predator and have evolved specialized traits for hunting and carnivory(Moya et al.,2022),thus playing a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity and ecosystem integrity by regulating prey-predator ***,human-induced pressures,habitat fragmentation,and environmental alterations have restricted these species in small and isolated ***,all extant big cats are categorized as endangered or threatened according to their conservation *** tigers and Amur leopards share overlapping geographic ranges,habitats,and certain prey species in the forests of northeast Asia(Jiang et al.,2015).To reduce interspecies conflict,these carnivores exhibit differentiated dietary and temporal *** tigers predominantly prey on large ungulates,while Amur leopards hunt small to medium-sized animals(Sugimoto et al.,2016).Additionally,they occupy different temporal niches,with tigers being active at night and leopards more active during the *** spatial and temporal niche partitioning,interspecific competition between these two species is ***,benefiting from their greater size,have a competitive advantage over leopards,which can manifest in occasional leopard predation by tigers and declines in leopard populations with increasing tiger den.ity(Jiang et al.,2015).Tigers also displace leopards from marginal habitats in nature reserves where they coexist.

The autotetraploid Carassius auratus(4nRR,4n=200,RRRR)is derived from whole-genome duplication of Carassius auratus red var.(RCC,2n=100,RR).In the current study,we demonstrated that chromatophores and pigment changes directly caused the coloration and variation of 4nRR skin(red in RCC,brownish-yellow in4nRR).To further explore the molecular mechanisms underlying coloration formation and variation in 4nRR,we performed transcriptome profiling and molecular functional verification in RCC and *** revealed that scarb1,associated with carotenoid metabolism,underwent significant down-regulation in *** editing of this candidate pigment gene provided clear eviden.e of its significant role in RCC ***,we iden.ified four divergent scarb1 homeologs in 4nRR:two original scarb1 homeologs from RCC and two duplicated ***,three of these homeologs possessed two highly conserved alleles,exhibiting biased and allelespecific expression in the ***,after precise editing of both the original and duplicated scarb1homeologs and/or alleles,4nRR individuals,whether singly or multiply mutated,displayed a transition from brownishyellow skin to a cyan-gray ***,the proportional areas of the cyan-gray regions displayed a gene-dose *** findings illustrate the subfunctionalization of duplicated scarb1,with all scarb1genes synergistically and equally contributing to the pigmentation of *** is the first report concerning the functional differentiation of duplicated homeologs in an autopolyploidfish,substantiallyenrichingour understanding of coloration formation and change within this group of organisms.

Electrocatalytic nitrate reduction reaction（EnRR） for ammonia synthesis is a promising strategy to relieve nitration contamination,as well as an alternative to the Haber-Bosch *** blue analogs（PBAs） are expected to be an electrocatalytic material with superior performance owing to their abundant active sites and open channel ***,most reported PBA materials possess low nitrate conversion and ammonia yield rates,which has led to a hindrance in their research of ***,CuMn-PBA-shelled nanoboxes（CuMn-PBA SnBs） synthesized through tannic acid etching and cation exchange approaches are demonstrated for efficient ammonia *** optimal CuMn-PBA SnBs electrode achieves a high nitrate conversion of 91.33% and ammonia selectivity of 98.87% in a 0.2 mol·L-1na2SO4solution with100×10-6nO3--n at-1.4 V ***,the CuMn-PBA SnB s electrode exhibits exceptional stability throughout a 30 h electrocatalytic *** outstanding electrochemical performance is attributed to the unique hollow nanobox structure with abundant active sites and high-throughput transport pathways for ions' aspects.

Enhancing CO_(2)capture of an aminoethylethanolamine-based non-aqueous absorbent by using tertiary amine as a proton-transfer mediator:From performance to mechanism

non-aqueous absorbents(nAAs)have attracted increasing attention for CO_(2)capture because of their great energy-saving *** diamines which can provide high CO_(2)absorption loading are promising candidates for formulating nAAs but suffer disadvantages in *** this study,a promising strategy that using tertiary amines(TAs)as proton-transfer mediators was proposed to enhance the regenerability of an aminoethylethanolamine(AEEA,diamine)/dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO)(A/D)***,some employed TAs such as n,n-diethylaminoethanol(DEEA),n,n,n’,n’’,n’’-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine(PMDETA),3-dimethylamino-1-propanol(3DMA1P),and n,n-dimethylethanolamine(DMEA)enhanced not only the regenerability of the A/D nAA but also the CO_(2)absorption ***,the CO_(2)absorption loading and cyclic loading were increased by about 12.7%and 15.5%-22.7%,*** TA-enhanced CO_(2)capture mechanism was comprehensively explored via nuclear magnetic resonance technique and quantum chemical *** CO_(2)absorption,the TA acted as an ultimate proton acceptor for AEEA-zwitterion and enabled more AEEA to form carbamate species(AEEACOO-)to store CO_(2),thus enhancing CO_(2)*** CO_(2)desorption,the TA first provided protons directly to AEEACOO-as a proton donor;moreover,it functioned as a proton carrier and facilitated the low-energy step-wise proton transfer from protonated AEEA to AEEACOO-.Consequently,the presence of TA made it easier for AEEACOO-to obtain protons to decompose,resulting in enhanced CO_(2)*** a word,introducing the TA as a proton-transfer mediator into the A/D nAA enhanced both the CO_(2)absorption performance and the regenerability,which was an efficient way to“kill two birds with one stone”.

Objective To investigate the in vivo immunomodulatory and anti-tumor mechanisms of the combined treatment of novel Four-Herb formula(4HF)and doxorubicin in triple-negative breast cancer(TnBC).Methods Murine-derived triple-negative mammary carcinoma cell line,4T1 cells,was cultured and inoculated into mouse mammary ***-six mice were randomly assigned into 6 groups(n=11 in ench):naive,control,LD 4HF(low dose 4HF),HD 4HF(high dose 4HF),LD 4HF+D(low dose and doxorubicin),and D(doxorubicin).Apart from the naive group,each mouse received subcutaneous inoculation with 5×10^(5)4T1 cells resuspended in 100µL of normal saline in the mammary fat *** from the day of tumor cell inoculation,tumors were grown for 6 *** LD and HD groups received daily oral gavage of 658 and 2,630 mg/kg 4HF,*** LD 4HF+D group received daily oral gavage of 658 mg/kg 4HF and weekly intraperitoneal injection of doxorubicin(5 mg/kg).The D group received weekly intraperitoneal injections of doxorubicin(5 mg/kg).The treatment naive mice received daily oral gavage of 0.2 mL double distilled water and 0.1 mL normal saline via intraperitoneal injection once a *** control group received daily oral gavage of 0.2 mL double-distilled *** treatment period was 30 *** the end of treatment,mice organs were harvested to analyze immunological activities via immunophenotyping,gene and multiplex analysis,histological staining,and gut microbiota *** Mice treated with the combination of 4HF and doxorubicin resulted in significantly reduced tumor and spleen burden.(Pnd overall immune lymphocyte landscape,and manipulated gut microbiota to favor the anti-tumor immunological ***,immunosuppressive genes,cytokines,and chemokines such as C-C motif chemokine 2 and interleukin-10 of tumors were significantly downregulated(Pn combination treatment demonstrated synergetic activities and was most effective
