Objective:This study aimed to examine the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the Behavioral Inhibition System/Behavioral Activation System(BIS/BAS)scales among stroke ***:The cross-sectional study was conducted at four comprehensive hospitals in Taizhou,Jiangsu,China.A sample of 232 first-ever stroke survivors were recruited from June to August *** was examined using face validity and construct validity,which used confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)and known-group *** was evaluated by internal consistency and test-retest ***:The BIS/BAS scales demonstrated satisfactory face *** findings of CFAs supported the original four-factor structure of BAS-reward,BAS-drive,BAS-fun seeking,and BIS with acceptable model fit *** validity,assessed via known-group analysis,indicated that stroke survivors with probable depression had significantly lower mean BAS-reward,BAS-drive,and BAS-fun seeking scores(P<0.001)and a higher mean BIS score(P=0.028)compared to those without probable *** internal consistency,measured by Cronbach’s a coefficients for the subscales,ranged from 0.669 to ***-retest reliability,assessed using intra-class correlation coefficients,ranged from 0.61 to ***:The Chinese version of the BIS/BAS scales could be a reliable and valid instrument for measuring behavioral activation among stroke survivors.

To cope with the scenario where both uncorrelated sources and coherent sources coexist, a novel algorithm to direction of arrival （DOA） estimation for symmetric uniform linear array is presented. Under the condition of stationary colored noise field, the algorithm employs a spatial differencing method to eliminate the noise covariance matrix and uncorrelated sources, then a Toeplitz matrix is constructed for the remained coherent sources. After preprocessing, a propagator method （PM） is employed to find the DOAs without any eigendecomposition. The number of sources resolved by this approach can exceed the number of array elements at a lower computational complexity. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.

Thirty years have passed since China first adopted the policy of reform and opening up to the outside. Reviewing and appraising the advantages and disadvantages of the government＇s energy restructuring policy in the intervening years is of great importance to the consideration of future reform and opening-up efforts in this industry. Energy production and supply have been a major part of the national economic restructuring. In this paper, the author proceeds from three angles to review and assess the reform and opening-up efforts in the energy industry, and suggests some direction and priorities for its restrueturing in the future.

At present, the development of renewable energy relies mainly on government support. The government invests in a considerable number of projects to improve public welfare and to assist in poverty relief If China is to replace fossil fuels on a large scale with renewable energy sources, the production costs and prices of renewable energy must be brought down. All countries are facing the challenge of moving to a more secure and low-carbon energy system without weakening economic and social development. In this regard, China is facing an even greater challenge in terms of economic cost, as cheap coal remains the main energy form. Technical innovation and industrialization in the area of renewable energy is an important means of lowering cost. China is in for a period of high-speed development of its economy and the rising demand for energy is irreversible. If the technical progress and development speed of renewable energy lags behind the growth in demand, it will be difficult to realize the improvement of its energy structure.

This paper investigates the maximum energy efficiency level and the energy saving potentials in each region in China that can be practically attained at current economic and technological development levels. Most of the nation ＇s energy efficient provinces are found along the coast of southeast China, while most of its least energy efficient provinces are in the hinterland that is rich in coal resources, and which depends heavily on coal consumption. China＇s low efficiency in energy resource allocation stems from its secondary industry, which is handicapped by the lowest energy efficiency and the most striking regional differentials. A comparison of the factors affecting the energy efficiency shows that the provinces being compared in this study differ tremendously in energy consumption structure, technological level of the secondary industry, and abundance of energy resources, and that the other factors are only adequate, rather than necessary, conditions. It is imperative to rectify the behaviors of provinces in balancing local energy allocation, to channel energy resources to energy efficient provinces, and to improve the national energy efficiency as a whole. When taking energy-saving steps, provinces must take into full consideration both the national and local factors that affect energy efficiency. Furthermore, it is unrealistic for China to set a unified energy saving goal for differentprovinces.

This article introduces a new chaotic system of three-dimensional quadratic autonomous ordinary differential equations, which can display different attractors with two unstable equilibrium points and four unstable equilibrium points respectively. Dynamical properties of this system are then studied. Furthermore, by applying the undetermined coefficient method, heteroclinic orbit of shil＇nikov＇s type in this system is found and the convergence of the series expansions of this heteroclinic orbit are proved in this article. The shil＇nikov＇s theorem guarantees that this system has Smale horseshoes and the horseshoe chaos.

Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949,the Communist Party of China(CPC)has separated China’s evolving principal social contradictions into four different *** on the assessment of principal social contradictions at different points in time,the CPC enacted different economic *** 1949-1956,based on the recognition of class struggle as China’s principal social contradiction,the Party focused its economic policies on socialist transformation and established the foundation for the public sector of the *** 1956-1978,amid flip-flops in the Party’s assessment of whether class struggle or backward productive forces were the principal contradiction,China’s economic development suffered some setbacks,but the vision for building an industrial country remained unchanged,and resources were focused on developing major national industrial *** 1978-2019,the Party focused on economic development and reform and opening up in pursuit of the realization of grand economic development goals based on the assessment that China’s principal social contradiction was between people’s ever-growing material and cultural needs and China’s relatively backward social productive *** 2017,the 19th CPC National Congress made the important political assessment that China’s principal social contradiction had transformed into the contradiction between people’s ever-growing need for a better life and China’s unbalanced and inadequate development,and proposed new development concepts to lead the Chinese people on a new journey towards the second centennial *** most important experience of the CPC’s economic work is analyzing and solving problems based on Marxist ideology and methodology.

AIM:To compare the efficacy and safety between laser therapy and anti-vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)agents intravitreal injection monotherapy in type-1 retinopathy of prematurity(ROP)and aggressive posterior retinopathy of prematurity(APROP).METHODS:A systematic literature search was performed in PubMed,Cochrane Library,and Embase for original comparable *** included studies that compare laser therapy and intravitreal injections of anti-VEGF agents monotherapy in ROP regardless of languages and publication ***:Complication incidence was significantly higher in laser therapy group(OR:0.38;95%CI:0.19-0.75;P=0.005).Spherical equivalent(SE)was higher in laser therapy[weighted mean difference(WMD):2.40,95%CI:0.88-3.93;P=0.002].The time between treatment and retreatment was longer in laser therapy group(WMD:8.45,95%CI:5.35-11.55;P<0.00001).Recurrence incidence(OR:0.97;95%CI:0.45-2.09;P=0.93)and retreatment incidence(OR:1.24;95%CI:0.56-2.73;P=0.59)were similar in two *** analysis between type-1 ROP and APROP was not significant except SE reported in the included studies(P<0.0001).CONCLUSION:This Meta-analysis outcome indicates anti-VEGF agents are as effective as laser treatment,and safer than laser in type-1 ROP and *** degree of myopia in APROP is higher than type-1 *** randomized controlled trials in large sample size should be conducted in the future.

In this paper, we investigate a(2+1)-dimensional generalized Konopelchenko-Dubrovsky-Kaup-Kupershmidt equation. The lump waves, lumpoff waves, and rogue waves are presented based on the Hirota bilinear form of this equation. It is worth noting that the moving path as well as the appearance time and place of the lump waves are given. Moreover, the special rogue waves are considered when lump solution is swallowed by double solitons. Finally,the corresponding characteristics of the dynamical behavior are displayed.

The environmental effect of technical change:A spatial model with city-level data in China

This paper studies the environmental effects of technical change using a spatial model with panel data from 284 prefecture-cities over 2004-2015 in *** find that the effects of technical change vary across different dimensions of technical change and different pollution ***,we also provide robust evidence for the existence of the spatial effects of technical change on environmental pollution across ***,indigenous technical change displays three patterns of effects on the four pollutants:a positive effect on wastewater,a negative effect on PM_(2.5)concentrations,and an inverted U-shaped relationship with SO_(2)and soot *** spatial effect of indigenous technical change promotes cleaner industrial productions(fewer emissions of SO_(2),soot and wastewater)but higher PM_(2.5)***,technology transfers from foreign direct investment are associated with less pollution except for wastewater,and their spatial effects are unanimously negative on all ***,absorptive capacity can also promote cleaner industrial production,but its spatial effects can do ***,the government should take the spatial spillover effects of technical change into account when implementing specific policies,pin down specific pollutants to make full use of the pollution-reducing effects of technical change,and improve the absorptive capacity of domestic firms.
