BACKGr.UnD In r.cent year.,ther. has been an incr.ase in the number.of total hip ar.hr.plasty pr.cedur.s in the younger.patient *** active gr.up has higher.expectations of their.pr.sthesis in compar.son to the older.population,and ther. is a gr.ater.physical demand for.the *** femor.l stems wer. in-tr.duced to r.tain pr.ximal bone stock and joint biomechanics and became mor. common to implant in this specific ***,the long-ter. sur.ival and functional outcomes of var.ous shor. stems ar. still being investigated in differ.nt *** To deter.ine the 5-year.sur.ival of the Optimys hip *** This was a pr.spective multicenter.cohor. study of 500 patients conducted in two hospitals in the *** patients r.ceived the Optimys shor. stem(Mathys ltd,Bettlach,Switzer.and).The pr.mar. outcome measur. was sur.ival of the hip stem,with r.vision as the *** secondar. outcome measur.ments included patient-r.por.ed outcome measur.s(pr.Ms).Kaplan-Meier.analysis was used to calculate the 5-year.sur.ival ***-minus-log tr.nsfor.ation was per.or.ed to calculate the 95%confidence inter.al(95%CI).Mixed model analyses wer. per.or.ed to assess the cour.e of the pr.Ms dur.ng the 1st 2 year. after.*** wer. modeled separ.tely for.the 1st and 2nd year. to calculate the year.y change in pr.Ms dur.ng both follow-up per.ods with accompanying 95%*** The mean age of the total 500 patients was 62.3 year.(standar. deviation:10.6)and 202 wer. male(40%).At a median follow-up of 5.5 year.(inter.uar.ile r.nge:4.5-6.7),7 patients wer. deceased and 6 r.visions wer. r.gister.d,for.infection(n=3),subsidence(n=2)and malposition(n=1).This r.sulted in an over.ll 5-year.sur.ival of 98.8%(95%CI:97.3-99.5).If infection was left out as r.ason for.r.vision,a stem sur.ival of 99.4%(95%CI:98.1-99.8)was *** questionnair.s wer. completed by 471 patients(94%),317 patients(63%)completed the 1-year.follow-up questionna

Backgr.und:The mobilization and r.distr.bution of sever. acute r.spir.tor. syndr.me cor.navir.s 2(SAr.-CoV-2)specific T-cells and neutr.lizing antibodies(nAbs)dur.ng exer.ise is pur.or.ed to incr.ase immune sur.eillance and pr.tect against sever. cor.navir.s disease 2019(COVID-19).We sought to deter.ine if COVID-19 vaccination would elicit exer.ise-r.sponsive SAr.-CoV-2 T-cells and tr.nsiently alter.nAb ***:Eighteen healthy par.icipants completed a 20-min bout of gr.ded cycling exer.ise befor. and/or.after.r.ceiving a COVID-19 *** major.leukocyte subtypes wer. enumer.ted befor.,dur.ng,and after.exer.ise by flow cytometr.,and immune r.sponses to SAr.-CoV-2 wer. deter.ined using whole blood peptide stimulation assays,T-cell r.ceptor.TCr.-βsequencing,and SAr.-CoV-2 nAb ***:COVID-19 vaccination had no effect on the mobilization or.egr.ss of major.leukocyte subsets in r.sponse to intensity-contr.lled gr.ded ***,non-infected par.icipants had a significantly r.duced mobilization of CD4+and CD8+naive T-cells,as well as CD4+centr.l memor.
