Ion heat tr.nspor. in electr.n cyclotr.n r.sonance heated l-mode plasma on the T-10 tokamak

Anomalous ion heat tr.nspor. is analyzed in the T-10 tokamak plasma heated with electr.n cyclotr.n r.sonance heating(ECr.) in second-har.onic extr.-or.inar. mode. pr.dictive modeling with empir.cal scaling for.Ohmical heat conductivity shows that in ECr. plasmas the calculated ion temper.tur. could be over.stimated, so an incr.ase of anomalous ion heat tr.nspor. is r.quir.d. To study this effect two scans ar. pr.sented: over.the EC r.sonance position and over.the ECr. power. The EC r.sonance position var.es fr.m the high-field side to the low-field side by var.ation of the tor.idal magnetic field. The scan over.the heating power.is pr.sented with on-axis and mixed ECr. r.gimes. Dischar.es with high anomalous ion heat tr.nspor. ar. obtained in all consider.d r.gimes. In these dischar.es the power.balance ion heat conductivity exceeds the neoclassical level by up to 10 times. The high ion heat tr.nspor. r.gimes ar. distinguished by thr.e par.meter.: the r.tio Te/Ti, the nor.alized electr.n density gr.dient r.■, and the ion–ion collisionality νii~*. The combination of high Te/Ti, high νii~*, and r.■=6-10 r.sults in values of nor.alized anomalous ion heat fluxes up to 10 times higher.than in the low tr.nspor. scenar.o.

Algal blooms,the spr.ad of algae on the sur.ace of water.bodies,have adver.e effects not only on aquatic ecosystems but also on human *** adver.e effects of har.ful algal blooms(HABs)necessitate a convenient solution for.detection and *** aer.al vehicles(UAVs)have r.cently emer.ed as a tool for.algal bloom detection,efficiently pr.viding on-demand images at high spatiotempor.l *** study developed an image pr.cessing method for.algal bloom ar.a estimation fr.m the aer.al images(obtained fr.m the inter.et)captur.d using *** a r.mote sensing method of HAB detection,analysis,and monitor.ng,a combination of histogr.m and textur. analyses was used to efficiently estimate the ar.a of *** featur.s like entr.py(using the Kullback-leibler.method)wer. emphasized with the aid of a gr.y-level co-occur.ence *** r.sults showed that the or.hogonal images demonstr.ted fewer.er.or.,and the mor.hological filter.best detected algal blooms in r.al time,with a pr.cision of 80%.This study pr.vided efficient image pr.cessing appr.aches using on-boar. UAVs for.HAB monitor.ng.

The sessile dr.p method was applied to the exper.mental investigation of the wetting and spr.ading behavior. of liquid Mg dr.ps on pur. ni *** compar.son,the exper.ments wer. per.or.ed in two var.ants:(1)using the Capillar. pur.fication(Cp)pr.cedur.,which allows the non-contact heating and squeezing of a pur. oxide-fr.e Mg dr.p;(2)by classical Contact Heating(CH)*** high-temper.tur. tests wer. per.or.ed under.isother.al conditions(Cp:760℃for.30 s;CH:715℃for.300 s)using Ar.5 wt%H_(2) *** the sessile dr.p tests,images of the Mg/ni couples wer. r.cor.ed by CCD camer.s(57 fps),which wer. then applied to calculate the contact angles of metal/substr.te *** and tr.nsmission electr.n micr.scopy analyses,both coupled with ener.y-disper.ive X-r.y spectr.scopy,wer. used for.detailed str.ctur.l char.cter.zation of the solidified *** was found that an oxide-fr.e Mg dr.p obtained by the Cp pr.cedur. showed a wetting phenomenon on the ni substr.te(an aver.ge contact angleθnllowed by fast spr.ading and good wetting over.the ni substr.te(θ_((Cp))~20°in 5 s)to for. a final contact angle ofθ_(f(Cp))~18°.In contr.st,a differ.nt wetting behavior.was obser.ed for.the CH pr.cedur.,wher. the unavoidable pr.mar. oxide film on the Mg sur.ace blocked the spr.ading of liquid Mg showing appar.ntly non-wetting behavior.after.300 s contact at the test ***,in both cases,the deep cr.ter. for.ed in the ni substr.tes under.the Mg dr.ps and significant change in the str.ctur. of initially pur. Mg dr.ps to Mg-ni alloys suggest a str.ng dissolution of ni in liquid Mg and appar.nt values of the final contact angles measur.d for.the Mg/ni system.
