Metal-ion batteries(MIBs),including alkali metal-ion(li^(+),Na^(+),and K^(3)),multi-valent metal-ion(Zn^(2+),Mg^(2+),and Al^(3+)),metal-air,and metal-sulfur batteries,play an indispensable role in electrochemical energy ***,the performance of MIBs is significantly influenced by numerous variables,resulting in multi-dimensional and long-term challenges in the field of battery research and performance *** learning(ML),with its capability to solve intricate tasks and perform robust data processing,is now catalyzing a revolutionary transformation in the development of MIB materials and *** this review,we summarize the utilization of ML algorithms that have expedited research on MIBs over the past five *** present an extensive overview of existing algorithms,elucidating their details,advantages,and limitations in various applications,which encompass electrode screening,material property prediction,electrolyte formulation design,electrode material characterization,manufacturing parameter optimization,and real-time battery status ***,we propose potential solutions and future directions for the application of ML in advancing MIB development.

The poor interfacial contact is one of the biggest challenges that solid-state lithium batteries suffer *** the solid-state electrolyte surface energy by transforming the interface from lithiophobic to lithiophilic is effective to promote the interfacial contact, but electronic conductive interphases usually increase the risk of electron attack, thus leading to uncontrollable li dendrite growth. Herein, we propose a self-assembled thermodynamic stable li I interphase to simultaneously improve the interfacial contact between the garnet electrolyte li_7La_(3)Zr_(2)O_(12)(LLZO) and li anode, and prohibit the electron attack. The direct contact between LLZO and li and the high temperature li melting process was ascribed to Zr4+reduction, which facilitated li dendrite formation and propagation. With the modification of the high lithiophilic I_(2) thin film, the area specific interfacial resistance of LLZO/li was reduced from 1525 Ω/cm^(2) to 57 Ω/cm^(2). More importantly, LLZO was protected from being reduced due to the outstanding electronic insulativity of the li I interphase, which leaded to a high critical current density of 1.2/7.0 m A/cm^(2) in the time/capacity-constant modes, respectively.

Hybrid metal-organic framework(MOF)derivatives play a significant role in the novel catalyst development in energy conversion ***,we demonstrated the low-temperature fully fluorinated zeolitic imidazole framework(ZIF)coupled with a three-dimensional open framework Prussian blue analog(PBA)with combined advantages for electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in water splitting *** spectroscopic analysis and the electrochemical studies revealed the combined advantages of efficient electronic effect and active site *** of good conductivity improvement by Ndoped carbon derived from ZIF and the high electrochemical surface area and active site exposure from PBA derivatives,good catalytic performance was obtained on the optimal catalyst of Co Ni ZIF/Co Fe-PBAF-300,which required a low overpotential of 250 m V to reach 10 m A/cm^(2)loaded on the glassy carbon electrode,with Tafel slope of 47.4 m V/dec,and very high dynamic and steady *** addition,the multi-component with the mixed structure from highly polar metal fluorides promoted the easy formation of the active phase as revealed by the post-sample *** current results showed a novel composite catalyst materials development from the hybrid MOF derivatives,which would be promising in the electrolysis of water oxidation reactions and energy-relevant catalysis reactions.

The infiltration casting method is widely employed for the preparation of ex-situ composite ***,the production of composite materials using this method must necessitates a comprehensive understanding of the wettability and interface characteristics between the reinforcing phase and the bulk metallic glasses(BMGs).This work optimized the composition of Zr-based BMGs through microalloying methods,resulting in a new set of Zr-based BMGs with excellent glass-forming *** experiments between the Zr-based BMGs melts and W substrates were conducted using the traditional sessile drop method,and the interfaces were characterized utilizing a scanning electron microscope(SEM)equipped with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS).The work demonstrates that the microalloying method substantially enhances the wettability of the Zr-based BMGs ***,the incorporation of Nb element impedes the formation of W-Zr phases,but the introduction of Nb element does not alter the extent of interdiffusion between the constituent elements of the amorphous matrix and W element,indicating that the influence of Nb element on the diffusion of individual elements is minute.

Silicone rubber(SR) composites are most widely used as thermal interface materials(TIMs) for electronics heat dissipation. Thermal impedance as the main bottleneck limiting the performance of TIMs is usually neglected. Herein, the thermal impedance of SR composites loaded with different levels of hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN) as TIMs was elaborated for the first time by the ASTM D 5470 standard test and finite element analysis. It was found that elastic modulus and surface roughness of SR composites increased with the increase of h-BN content, indicating that the conformity was reduced. When the assembly pressure was 0.69 MPa, there existed an optimal h-BN content at which the contact resistance was minimum(0.39 K·cm^(2)·W^(-1)). Although the decreased bond line thickness(BLT) by increasing the assembly pressure was beneficial to reduce the thermal impedance, the proper assembly pressure should be selected to prevent the warpage of the contact surfaces and the increase in contact resistance, according to the compression properties of the SR composites. This study provides valuable insights into fabrication of high-performance TIMs for modern electronic device applications.

Three-dimensional stress variation characteristics in deep hard rock of CJPL-Ⅱ project based on in-situ monitoring

In deep hard rock excavation, stress plays a pivotal role in inducing stress-controlled failure. While the impact of excavation-induced stress disturbance on rock failure and tunnel stability has undergone comprehensive examination through laboratory tests and numerical simulations, its validation through insitu stress tests remains unexplored. This study analyzes the three-dimensional stress changes in the surrounding rock at various depths, monitored during the excavation of B2 Lab in China Jinping Underground Laboratory Phase Ⅱ(CJPL-Ⅱ). The investigation delves into the three-dimensional stress variation characteristics in deep hard rock, encompassing stress components and principal stress. The results indicate changes in both the magnitude and direction of the principal stress during tunnel excavation. To quantitatively describe the degree of stress disturbance, a series of stress evaluation indexes are established based on the distances between stress tensors, including the stress disturbance index(SDI), the principal stress magnitude disturbance index(SDIm), and the principal stress direction disturbance index(SDId). The SDI indicates the greatest stress disturbance in the surrounding rock is 4.5 m from the tunnel wall in B2 Lab. SDIm shows that the principal stress magnitude disturbance peaks at2.5 m from the tunnel wall. SDId reveals that the largest change in principal stress direction does not necessarily occur near the tunnel wall but at a specific depth from it. The established relationship between SDI and the depth of the excavation damaged zone(EDZ) can serve as a criterion for determining the depth of the EDZ in deep hard rock engineering. Additionally, it provides a reference for future construction and support considerations.

In order to alleviate the pressure on the supply of lithium resources, this research proposes the use of binary/ternary collectors with high selectivity and collecting ability to enhance the flotation purification of low-grade zinnwaldite ore. The binary collector is a mixture of dodecylamine polyoxyethylene ether and DL-2-octanol. A binary collector is added first, followed by sodium oleate, known as a ternary collector. Under acidic conditions, the recovery of li2O in the concentrate was increased by 8.26% with the binary collector and 13.70% with the ternary collector, compared to the dodecylamine polyoxyethylene ether. The binary collector enhanced the dispersibility of the single collector, while co-adsorption strengthened the hydrophobic nature of the zinnwaldite surface. Consequently, zinnwaldite particles,after the application of binary collector, displayed inter-particle flocculation and attachment to bubbles within 60×10^(-9)m compared to other particles. Ternary collector exhibited the capacity to lower critical micelle concentration and surface tension, subsequently inducing a denser and thicker hydrophobic layer through electrostatic forces, hydrophobic interactions, and chemical reactions. The objective of this research is to facilitate the recovery of lithium resources from low-grade ores in order to meet the needs of sustainable development.
