A synthetic medium for ethanol production by recombinant xylose-fermenting Zymomonas mobilis was optimized using Plackett-Burman(PB) design and response surface methodology(RSM).The effects of 19 medium components were investigated by PB *** of these components were determined to have significant effects on ethanol *** statistical model was constructed via central composite design(CCD) using five selected variables,including xylose,trisodium citrate,choline chloride,pyridoxine,and *** validity of the developed model was *** ethanol concentration in the optimized medium was 6.7% higher than in the RM *** optimized medium was then simplified to give the final synthetic medium(S2),in which the ethanol concentration was 20.7% higher than in the RM *** and trisodium citrate were the key medium components influencing ethanol production,while calcium pantothenate was the only growth factor required by recombinant *** production and growth response were directly proportional to the logarithm of the concentration of trisodium citrate in the range of 0.1-1.6 g/L.

Converting carbon dioxide(CO_(2))to diverse value-added products through photocatalysis can validly alleviate the critical issues of greenhouse effect and energy shortages *** particular,based on practical considerations,exploring novel catalysts to achieve efficient photoreduction of diluted CO_(2) is necessary and ***,this process is extremely challenging owing to the disturbance of competitive adsorption at low CO_(2) ***,we delicately synthesize oxygen vacancy-laden NiO nanoplatelets(r-NiO)via calcination under Ar protection to reduce diluted CO_(2) through visible light irradiation(>400 nm)assisted by a Ru-based *** from the strongly CO_(2) adsorption energy of oxygen vacancies,which was confirmed by density functional calculations,the r-NiO catalysts exhibit higher activity and selectivity(6.28×10^(3)µmol·h^(−1)·g^(−1);82.11%)for diluted CO_(2)-to-CO conversion than that of the normal NiO(3.94×10^(3)µmol·h^(−1)·g^(−1);65.26%).Besides,the presence of oxygen vacancies can also promote the separation of electron-hole *** research demonstrates that oxygen vacancies could act as promising candidates for photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction,offering fundamental guidance for the actual photoreduction of diluted CO_(2) in the future.

Spatio-temporal Differentiation of Residential Land for Coastal Town: A Case Study of Dalian Jinshitan

Based on SPOT5 satellite remote sensing images and land use data in five time phases covering the period 1988–2012, the distribution characteristics, spatial differentiation processes, and driving mechanisms affecting the residential land of the Jinshitan Tourist Resort were studied. The work included a combination of GIS technology, adoption of the differentiation index D, and the multi-group differentiation-measure model D(m). The results provided a basis for the following conclusions: 1) From 1988 to 2012, the degree of differentiation of the rural residential land first decreased, and then increased. The general residential, commercial residential and garden-house land-types all showed declining trends, of which the garden-house type presented the most intense volatility. 2) The overall background of the traditional residential land type was gradually replaced by a new residential land type, and the total area of residential land increased year by year, significantly improving the overall residential conditions. The areas of the new residential land type showed growth, and were increasingly widely distributed in the coastal tourist resorts, transportation corridors, and scenic areas. 3) Government policy, social differentiation, market mechanisms, and individual choices(along with other factors) were mutually promoted, although still restrained. However, all of these factors interacted to constrain the developmental direction and the processes affecting tourism real estate in the Dalian Jinshitan Tourist Resort.

We assessed nutrient characteristics, distributions and fractions within the disturbed and undisturbed sediments at four sampling sites within the mainstream of Haihe River. The river sediments contained mostly sand （ 60%）. The fraction of clay was 3%. Total nitrogen （TN） and total phosphorus （TP） concentrations ranged from 729 to 1922 mg/kg and from 692 to 1388 mg/kg, respectively. Nutrient concentrations within the sediments usually decreased with increasing depth. The TN and TP concentrations within the fine sand were higher than for that within silt. Sediment phosphorus fractions were between 2.99% and 3.37% Ex-P （exchangeable phosphorus）, 7.89% and 13.71% Fe/Al-P （Fe, Al oxides bound phosphorus）, 61.32% and 70.14% Ca-P （calcium-bound phosphorus）, and 17.03% and 22.04% Org-P （organic phosphorus）. Nitrogen and phosphorus release from sediment could lead to the presence of 21.02 mg N/L and 3.10 mg P/L within the water column. A river restoration project should address the sediment nutrient stock.

Bacterial artificial chromosomes(BACs)or yeast artificial chromosomes(YACs)containing large inserts as probes for fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH)have been used in the physical mapping of specific DNA sequences,especially for single-or low-copy *** earlier study identified Stpk-V,a powdery mildew resistance-related gene located on the 6VS chromosome arm of the wild grass Haynaldia villosa(tribe Triticeae),and obtained several Triticum aestivum–*** alien chromosome lines carrying the Stpk-V ***,the precise physical location of the Stpk-V gene on chromosome 6VS is not *** this study,we used TAC-FISH with TAC15 as the probe coupled with sequential genomic in situ hybridization(GISH)to determine the physical location of the Stpk-V gene in different ***–*** 6V alien chromosome lines,including addition,substitution and translocation *** result indicated that the fraction length of the Stpk-V locus is 0.575±0.035 on the 6V chromosome short arm and this was confirmed by FISH using TAC15 as the probe for tracing the Stpk-V gene in other genetic *** cytological mapping strategies used in this study will be of benefit for tracing the alien gene location in the course of introducing desirable traits from wild species.

Pseudo Human Settlements(PHS)are a fundamental element in human settlements geography,serving as an innovative frontier in the exploration of human–land *** entering the information age,PHS have emerged as a new catalyst for people's lives and urban *** on the Baidu Index,cold hot spot analysis and the Pearson correlation coefficient method were used to evaluate the spatiotemporal variation characteristics of the development of the quality of PHS at different levels in the three provinces of Northeast China(TPNC)during 2011–2022 and to characterize the influence of the system and *** results indicated that:1)temporally,PHS exhibits significant fluctuations,with an overall pattern of rapid increase followed by a gradual decline;2)spatially,PHS is marked by regional differentiation,with“three-core”dominance and a“cluster-like”distribution;3)systematically,the five major PHS systems generally exhibit an ascending and then a descending trend;4)in terms of influence,the socialization system serves as the core influence of PHS,with WeChat,***,and others are identified as the core influencing factors of *** findings of this study can provide scientific guidance for diversifying approaches to human settlements,promoting sustainable urban development,and revitalizing Northeast China.

Undoubtedly,uncooperative or malicious nodes threaten the safety of Internet of Vehicles(IoV)by destroying routing or *** this end,some researchers have designed some node detection mechanisms and trust calculating algorithms based on some different feature parameters of IoV such as communication,data,energy,etc.,to detect and evaluate vehicle ***,it is difficult to effectively assess the trust level of a vehicle node only by message forwarding,data consistency,and energy *** order to resolve these problems,a novel mechanism and a new trust calculating model is proposed in this ***,the four tuple method is adopted,to qualitatively describing various types of nodes of IoV;Second,analyzing the behavioral features and correlation of various nodes based on route forwarding rate,data forwarding rate and physical location;third,designing double layer detection feature parameters with the ability to detect uncooperative nodes and malicious nodes;fourth,establishing a node correlative detection model with a double layer structure by combining the network layer and the perception ***,we conducted simulation experiments to verify the accuracy and time of this detection method under different speed-rate topological conditions of *** results show that comparing with methods which only considers energy or communication parameters,the method proposed in this paper has obvious advantages in the detection of uncooperative and malicious nodes of IoV;especially,with the double detection feature parameters and node correlative detection model combined,detection accuracy is effectively improved,and the calculation time of node detection is largely reduced.

This paper concerns the imaging problem for downward looking sparse linear array three-dimensional synthetic aperture radar(DLSLA 3-D SAR) under the circumstance of sparse and non-uniform cross-track dimensional virtual phase centers configuration. Since the 3-D imaging scene behaves typical sparsity in a certain domain, sparse recovery approaches hold the potential to achieve a better reconstruction performance. However,most of the existing compressive sensing(CS) algorithms assume the scatterers located on the pre-discretized grids, which is often violated by the off-grid effect. By contrast, atomic norm minimization(ANM) deals with sparse recovery problem directly on continuous space instead of discrete grids. This paper firstly analyzes the off-grid effect in DLSLA 3-D SAR sparse image reconstruction, and then introduces an imaging method applied to off-gird targets reconstruction which combines 3-D pseudo-polar formatting algorithm(pseudo-PFA) with ANM. With the proposed method, wave propagation and along-track image reconstruction are operated with pseudo-PFA, then the cross-track reconstruction is implemented with semidefinite programming(SDP) based on the ANM model. The proposed method holds the advantage of avoiding the off-grid effect and managing to locate the off-grid targets to accurate locations in different imaging scenes. The performance of the proposed method is verified and evaluated by the 3-D image reconstruction of different scenes, i.e., point targets and distributed scene.
