This paper investigates the exponential stability of traveling wave solutions for nonlinear delayed cellular neural *** a continuity of the past work(Wu and Niu,2016;Yu,et al.,2011)on the existence and uniqueness of the traveling wave solutions,it is very reasonable and interesting to consider the exponential stability of the traveling wave *** the weighted energy method,comparison principle and the first integral mean value theorem,this paper proves that,for all monotone traveling waves with the wave speed cc2*>0,the solutions converge time-exponentially to the corresponding traveling waves,when the initial perturbations decay at some fields.

Surface molecularly imprinted polymers （SMIPs） for selective adsorption of ampicillin sodium were synthesized using surface molecular imprinting technique with silica gel as a support. The physical and morphological characteristics of the polymers were investigated by scanning electron microscope （SEM）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FT-IR）, thermogravimetric analysis （TGA）, elemental analysis and nitrogen adsorption-desorption test. The obtained results showed that the SMIPs displayed great adsorption capacity （13.5 lag/mg）, high recognition ability （the imprinted factor is 3.2） and good binding kinetics for ampicillin sodium. Finally, as solid phase extraction adsorbents, the SMIPs coupled with HPLC method were validated and applied for the enrichment, purification and determination of anapicillin sodium in real milk and blood samples. The averages of spiked accuracy ranged from 92.1% to 107.6%. The relative standard deviations of intra- and inter-day precisions were less than 4.6%. This study provides a new and promising method for enriching, extracting and determining ampicillin sodium in complex biological samples.

Climatic variations are becoming important limiting factors for agriculture productivity,as they not only directly affect the plant net primary productivity but can also modulate the outbreak of plant diseases and *** CO_2 and O_3 are two important climatic factors that have been widely studied *** CO_2 or O_3 alters the host plant physiology and affects the vector insects and plant viruses via bottom-up effects of the host *** studies have shown that elevated CO_2 or O_3 decreases the plant nitrogen content,which modulates the characteristics of vector *** evidence also reveals that hormone-dependent signaling pathways play a critical role in regulating the response of insects and plant viruses to elevated CO_2 or O_*** the current review,we describe how elevated CO_2 or O_3 affects the vector insects and plant viruses by altering the SA and JA signaling *** also discuss how changes in the feeding behavior of vector insects or the occurrence of plant viruses affects the interactions between vector insects and plant viruses under elevated CO_2 or O_*** suggest that new insights into the upstream network that regulates hormone signaling and top-down effects of natural enemies would provide a comprehensive understanding of the complex interactions taking place under elevated CO_2 or O_3.

A wire rope defects detection method based on permanent magnet excitation is proposed.A detection system,mainly composed of permanent magnet excitation,distance detection,multi-sensor magnetic flux leakage signal acquisition and data analysis device,is set *** to the different characteristics of the multi-sensor magnetic flux leakage signal,the localized fault(LF)and loss of metallic cross-sectional area(LMA)signal is separated,and then the two defects can be *** experiments show that the method can effectively detect the two defects when they appear simultaneously on the wire rope.

This paper investigates consensus of flocks consisting of n autonomous agents in the plane, where each agent has the same constant moving speed v and updates its heading by the average value of the kn nearest agents from it, with vn and kn being two prescribed parameters depending on n. Such a topological interaction rule is referred to as k,-nearest-neighbors rule, which has been validated for a class of birds by biologists and verified to be robust with respect to disturbances. A theoretical analysis will be presented for this flocking model under a random framework with large population, but without imposing any a priori connectivity assumptions. We will show that the minimum number of k~ needed for consensus is of the order O（log n） in a certain sense. To be precise, there exist two constants C1 〉 C2 〉 0 such that, if k 〉 C1 logn, then the flocking mode] will achieve consensus for any initial headings with high probability, provided that the speed vn is suitably small. On the other hand, if k 〈 Ca ]ogn, then for large n, with probability 1, there exist some initial headings such that consensus cannot be achieved, regardless of the value of Vn.

Selective hydrogenation of biomass-derived 5-hydroxymethylfurfural using palladium catalyst supported on mesoporous graphitic carbon nitride

Selective hydrogenation of biomass-derived 5-hydroxymethylfurfural（HMF） to 2,5-dihydroxymethyltetrahydrofuran（DHMTHF） with 96% selectivity and a complete HMF conversion is obtained over palladium catalyst supported on mesoporous graphitic carbon nitride（Pd/mpg-C_3N_4） under pressured hydrogen atmosphere in aqueous media. The excellent catalytic performance of Pd/mpg-C_3N_4 is attributed to hydrogen bonding-related competitive interactions between reactant HMF and “intermediate” 2,5-dihydroxymethylfuran（DHMF） with the support mpg-C_3N_4, which leads to a deep hydrogenation of DHMF to DHMTHF.

Three-dimensional normal grain growth was appropriately simulated using a Potts model Monte Carlo algorithm. The quasi-stationary grain size distribution obtained from simulation agreed well with the experimental result of pure iron. The Weibull function with a parameter β=2.77 and the Yu-Liu function with a parameter v =2.71 fit the quasi-stationary grain size distribution well. The grain volume distribution is a function that decreased exponentially with increasing grain volume. The distribution of boundary area of grains has a peak at S/〈S〉=0.5, where S is the boundary area of a grain and 〈S〉 is the mean boundary area of all grains in the system. The lognormal function fits the face number distribution well and the peak of the face number distribution is f=10. The mean radius off-faced grains is not proportional to the face number, but appears to be related by a curve convex upward. In the 2D cross-section, both the perimeter law and the Aboav-Weaire law are observed to hold.

This paper presents the design of a vision-based automated robotic microinjection system for batch injection of both zebrafish embryos and larvae.A novel visual recognition algorithm based on an automatic threshold and excessive dilatation is introduced to accurately identify the center of zebrafish embryos and larval yolks.A corresponding software system is developed using the producer-consumer model as the framework structure,and a friendly user interface is designed to allow operators to choose from a range of desired functions according to their different *** addition,a novel microstructural agarose device is designed and fabricated to simultaneously immobilize mixed batches of embryos and ***,a prototype microinjection system is fabricated by integrating hardware devices with visual *** experimental study is conducted to verify the performance of the robotic microinjection *** results show that the reported system can accurately identify zebrafish embryos and larvae and efficiently complete batch microinjection tasks of the mixtures with an injection success rate of 92.05%in 13.88 s per *** with manual and existing microinjection systems,the proposed system demonstrates the merits of versatility,excellent efficiency,high success rate,high survival rate,and sufficient stability.
