Microbial activity and interaction are the important driving factors in the start-up phase of food waste composting at low *** aim of this study was to explore the effect of inoculating Bacillus licheniformis on the degradation of organic components and the potential microbe-driven mechanism from the aspects of organic matter degradation,enzyme activity,microbial community interaction,and microbial metabolic *** results showed that after inoculating ***,temperature increased to 47.8℃ on day2.and the degradation of readily degraded carbohydrates(RDC)increased by 31.2.,and the bioheat production increased by 16.5%.There was an obvious enhancement of extracellular enzymes activities after inoculation,especially amylase activity,which increased by 7.68 times on day *** inoculated *** colonized in composting as key genus in the start-up *** network analysis and Mantel test indicated that inoculation drove the cooperation between microbial network modules who were responsible for various organic components(RDC,lipid,protein,and lignocellulose)degradation in the start-up *** function prediction suggested that carbohydrate metabolisms including starch and sucrose metabolism,glycolysis/gluconeogenesis,pyruvate metabolism,etc.,were improved by increasing the abundance of related functional genes after *** conclusion,inoculating *** accelerated organic degradation by driving the cooperation between microbial network modules and enhancing microbial metabolism in the start-up phase of composting.

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH)regeneration is necessary for the sustainable application of enzymatic *** Rh-based complex[Cp^(*)Rh(bpy)(H)]+has been widely used as an important mediator in NADH regeneration systems,but it is limited by complexity and high ***,a Z-scheme was constructed by loading Rh onto carbon nitride nanosheets/carbon nitride quantum dots(CN-CNQD).The resultant catalyst achieved a high yield of NADH in a mediator-free(M-free)system of 0.2.3 mmol l^(−1) g^(−1) min^(−1),which is 5.2. times that of pure *** enzyme introduction experiments confirmed that the enzyme active product 1,4-NADH could reach 34.2.%selectivity in the M-free *** research revealed that the heterojunction between CNs and CNQDs improved the NADH regeneration activity in the traditional M-involved system,while Rh loading was proved to optimize the yield and selectivity of 1,4-NADH in M-free *** immobilized Rh shows more competitiveness than[Cp^(*)Rh(bpy)(H)]^(+).This study contributes to the construction of an M-free system for further application in greener,lower-cost enzymatic processes.

Hypoxia off the Changjiang River Estuary has been the subject of much attention,yet systematic observations have been lacking,resulting in a lack of knowledge regarding its long-term change and *** revisiting the repeated surveys of dissolved oxygen(DO) and other relevant hydrographic parameters along the section from the Changjiang River Estuary to the Jeju-do in the summer from 1997 to 2.14,rather different trends were revealed for the dual low-DO *** nearshore low-DO core,located close to the river mouth and relatively stable,shows that hypoxia has become more severe with the lowest DO descen ding at a rate of -0.07 mg/(l·a) and the thickness of low-DO zone rising at a rate of 0.43 m/*** offshore core,centered around 40-m isobath but moving back and forth between 12..5°-12.°E,shows large fluctuations in the minimum DO concentration,with the thickness of low-DO zone falling at a rate of -1.55 m/*** probable factors affecting the minimum DO concentration in the two regions also *** the nearshore region,the decreasing minimum DO is driven by the increase in both stratification and primary productivity,with the enhanced extension of the Changjiang River Diluted Water(CDW) strengthening *** the offshore region,the fluctuating trend of the minimum DO concentration indicates that both DO loss and DO supplement are *** DO loss is primarily attributed to bottom apparent oxygen utilization caused by the organic matter decay and is also relevant to the advection of low-DO water from the nearshore *** DO supplement is primarily due to weakened *** analysis also shows that the minimum DO concentration in the nearshore region was extremely low in 1998,2.03,2.07 and 2.10,related to El Ni?o signal in these summers.

Roots and shells are two potential organs through which peanut plants absorb cadium(Cd)from soils;however,the relative contributions of the two uptake pathways(root uptake and shell absorption)to kernel Cd accumulation and their translocation characteristics are poorly *** this study,the relative contributions of the two pathways to Cd accumulation in two peanut cultivars,Xianghua2.08(XH)and yueyou43(YY),were accurately assessed by labeling rooting and podding zone soils with 113Cd and 111Cd isotopes(0.3 mg kg^(-1) dry soil),respectively,in a split-pot *** results showed that approximately 96%of the Cd accumulated in the peanut kernels was derived from root uptake,while only 4%originated from shell *** 1%of the Cd accumulated in whole peanut plants was attributed to shell absorption,of which 41%–44%was retained in shells and 56%–59%was translocated to *** contrast,the Cd absorbed by roots was efficiently translocated into all plant organs,of which 80%–84%was distributed in *** YY accumulated 1.3 times more Cd in whole plants than XH,the relative contributions of the two pathways to Cd accumulation in each plant organ were barely affected by peanut *** to the strong retention effect of shells,shell-derived Cd was approximately 2.times higher than root-derived Cd in *** results would improve the understanding of Cd accumulation processes in peanut plants,revealing that the root uptake pathway contributes predominantly to the Cd concentration in peanut kernels,based on which strategies and {2. for the reduction of Cd in peanut plants could be designed and developed.

Reinforcement learning(Rl) has roots in dynamic programming and it is called adaptive/approximate dynamic programming(ADP) within the control community. This paper reviews recent developments in ADP along with Rl and its applications to various advanced control fields. First, the background of the development of ADP is described, emphasizing the significance of regulation and tracking control problems. Some effective offline and online algorithms for ADP/adaptive critic control are displayed, where the main results towards discrete-time systems and continuous-time systems are surveyed, ***, the research progress on adaptive critic control based on the event-triggered framework and under uncertain environment is discussed, respectively, where event-based design, robust stabilization, and game design are reviewed. Moreover, the extensions of ADP for addressing control problems under complex environment attract enormous attention. The ADP architecture is revisited under the perspective of data-driven and Rl frameworks,showing how they promote ADP formulation ***, several typical control applications with respect to Rl and ADP are summarized, particularly in the fields of wastewater treatment processes and power systems, followed by some general prospects for future research. Overall, the comprehensive survey on ADP and Rl for advanced control applications has d emonstrated its remarkable potential within the artificial intelligence era. In addition, it also plays a vital role in promoting environmental protection and industrial intelligence.
