Four pe.rofacie., name.y P1(sand inje.tite.or dyke., P2(sub-marine.fan), P3(turbidite.and marine.influe.ce. alluvial fans) and P4(contine.tal sandstone.) have.be.n ide.tifie.. P1 and P2 characte.ise.the.sandstone. in the.San Joaquin fore.rc basin and are.affe.te. by kaolinite.and e.te.sive.e.rly calcite.diage.e.is. Purpose. Although patie.t-re.ate. factors affe.t surgical outcome., pre.pe.ative.functional status is not me.sure. by any cardiac risk score. Functional status can, howe.e., be.obje.tive.y me.sure. using validate. outcome.tools such as the.late.life.Function and Disability Instrume.t (llFDI). The.purpose.of this study was to de.e.mine.1) if the.e.was a change.ove. time.in functional status, as me.sure. by the.llFDI, in patie.ts who unde.we.t e.e.tive.cardiac surge.y, and if so, 2) what spe.ific aspe.t(s) of functional status change.. Me.hods: A prospe.tive.longitudinal study of one.ye.r was conducte. on e.e.tive.cardiac surge.y patie.ts (n = 43) using the.se.f-re.orte. llFDI, which me.sure. Disability Fre.ue.cy (fre.ue.cy of participation in social tasks), Disability limitation (ability to participate.in social tasks) and Function Total (e.se.in pe.forming routine.activitie.). Highe. score. indicate.incre.se. function and de.re.se. disability. llFDI score. we.e.compare. at thre. time. (pre.pe.ative. six-we.k and one.ye.r postope.ative. using re.e.te. me.sure. ANOVA. Post hoc pairwise.comparison was conducte. for spe.ific inte.actions. Re.ults: Both Function Total and Disability Fre.ue.cy significantly change. ove. time.(p = 0.047 and p = 0.013, re.pe.tive.y). Spe.ifically, patie.ts’ function le.e. was significantly highe. one.ye.r postope.ative.compare. to pre.pe.ative.(M diffe.e.ce.= +3.48, Se.= 1.48, p = 0.026). like.ise. Organic vapors from biomass burning are.a major source.of se.ondary organic ae.osols(SOAs). Pre.ious smog chambe. studie. found that the.SOA contributors in biomass-burning e.issions are.mainly volatile.organic compounds(VOCs). While.inte.me.iate.volatility organic compounds(IVOCs) are.e.ficie.t SOA pre.ursors and contribute.a conside.able.fraction of biomass-burning e.issions, the.r contribution to SOA formation has not be.n dire.tly obse.ve.. He.e. by de.loying a ne.ly-de.e.ope. oxidation flow re.ctor to study SOA formation from wood burning, we.find that IVOCs can contribute.～70% of the.forme. SOA, i.e.>2 time. more.than VOCs. This pre.iously missing SOA fraction is inte.pre.e. to be.due.to the.high wall losse. of se.i-volatile.oxidation products of IVOCs in smog chambe.s.
