Aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion battery(ZIB)is considered to be a potential energy storage system for large-scale applications due to its environmental friendliness,high safety,and low ***,it remains challenging to develop suitable cathode materials with high specific capacity and long-term cyclic ***,we have fabricated freestanding Sr0.19V2O51.3H2O/carbon nanotubes(SrVO/CNTs)composite films with different mass ratios by incorporating SrVO into CNTs *** synthesized SrVO possesses a large interlayer spacing of 1.31 nm,which facilitates Zn(2+)***,the SrVO/CNTs composite film with conductive network structure promotes electron transfer and ensures good contact between SrVO and CNTs during the long-term cycling *** a result,the battery based on the SrVO/CNTs composite cathode with a mass ratio of 7:3 delivers a specific capacity of 326 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1 A·g^(-1)and 145 mAh·g^(-1)at 5 A·g^(-1),demonstrating a high capacity and excellent rate ***,the assembled ZIB shows good capacity retention of 91%even after ultra-long cycling for 7500 cycles at a high current rate of 5 Ag^(-1).More importantly,the battery also delivers a high energy density and power density,as 290 Wh·kg^(-1)at 125 W·kg^(-1)(0.1 A·g^(-1)),or 115 Wh·kg^(-1)at 6078 W·kg^(-1)(5 Ag^(-1)).The results demonstrate that the SrVO/CNTs composite is a promising cathode toward large-scale energy storage applications.

The compressive deformation behavior of the extruded WZ42(Mg98.5Y1Zn0.5 in at.%)magnesium alloy containing a low amount of long-period stacking ordered(LPSO)phase was studied by in-situ synchrotron radiation diffraction *** were conducted at temperatures between room temperature and 350℃.Detailed microstructure investigation was provided by scanning electron microscopy,particularly the backscattered electron imaging and electron backscatter diffraction *** results show that twinning lost its dominance and kinking of the LPSO phase became more pronounced with increasing deformation *** cracks of the LPSO phase and no debonding r at the interface between the LPSO phase and the Mg matrix were observed at temperatures above 200℃.At 350℃,the LPSO phase lost its strengthening effect and the deformation of the alloy was mainly realized by the dynamic recrystallization of the Mg matrix.

Simulation of Thermal Explosion of Catalytic Granule in Fluctuating Temperature Field

Method for numerical simulation of the temperature of granule with internal heat release in a medium with random temperature fluctuations is proposed. The method utilized the solution of a system of ordinary stochastic differential equations describing temperature fluctuations of the surrounding and granule. Autocorrelation function of temperature fluctuations has a finite decay time. The suggested method is verified by the comparison with exact analytical results. Random temperature behavior of granule with internal heat release qualitatively differs from the results obtained in the deterministic approach. Mean first passage time of granules temperature intersecting critical temperature is estimated at different regime parameters.

Objective:This review serves as a comprehensive description and summary of currently available preclinical models of three tumors in ophthalmic oncology:conjunctival melanoma(CM),uveal melanoma(UM),and ***:Malignant melanomas are the most common tumors of the eye in adults,most often localized in the uvea and *** the primary tumor can be successfully eliminated in many cases,nearly one in two UMs-and one in three CMs-are fatal to the patient due to *** therapies for metastatic uveal and CMs are unfortunately still not available,so there is an urgent need for new therapeutic strategies to improve prognosis quoad vitam and prolong the survival of melanoma *** widely known tumor of the eye is retinoblastoma,which is the most common pediatric ocular malignancy,occurring in approximately 1 in 15,000-18,000 live ***,it is considered well treatable,with a survival rate of approximately 90%at 3 years,although fatal if *** a long time,enucleation was also considered the treatment of choice,with bilateral cases having one eye irradiated and the eye with the more advanced tumor *** the 1990s,however,systemic chemotherapy has been predominantly used to preserve the quality of life and vision of young patients,although the cellular activity of the retinoblastoma often remains after treatment with chemotherapeutic *** of the disease is immensely depending on the stage and time of diagnosis and is varying between countries due to different developmental status of health care ***:We review recent advances in the available literature on established preclinical models in CM,UM,and *** addition,we discuss the advantages and limitations of these models and provide an overview of current alternatives to animal testing in preclinical ***:In the case of all three diseases,further research is needed for improved therapeutic ***

The Clinical Use of Mediator Release Test in Food Sensitivities

Food sensitivities are non-IgE-mediated, non-coeliac, dose-dependent and delayed systemic responses to food. They consist of a highly complex class of adverse food reactions; however, their last phase is the release of mediators from leukocytes. The Mediator Release Test （MRT） is a functional measure of sensitivity-based inflammatory responses. It is an end-point test, which can account for the widest range of triggering mechanisms involved in sensitivity reactions, including both innate and adaptive pathways. MRT not only tests reactions to foods, food-chemicals, and other substances, but also reliably quantifies the degree of the inflammatory response. The test opens the new therapeutic options for food sensitivities.
