The clear identification and quantification of the factors affecting groundwater systems is crucial for protecting groundwater resources and ensuring safety in agricultural *** Lower Yellow River(LYR)is a suspended river that replenishes groundwater continuously due to clear differences in the water head,especially in the Xinxiang *** its construction,the Xiaolangdi Reservoir has reversed the LYR’s *** accurately determine the factors influencing the groundwater level(GWL),the study area was divided into five subzones based on hydrogeology.A dynamic factor model(dFM),variational mode decomposition(VMd),and a multiple linear regression model were used to identify and quantify the factors influencing the *** impact of the suspended river on the groundwater before and after the construction of the Xiaolangdi Reservoir was *** results show that:(1)The rate of decrease in the GWL was 8.53×10^(–4)m/month,and the rate of decrease in the Yellow River water level(RWL)was 4.63×10^(–4)m/month.(2)Mountain front recharge(MFR)(scale=3 months)and precipitation(scale=9 months)were the dominant factors in subzones I and II,accounting for more than 40%of the fluctuation in the *** III was dominated by exploitation(scale=7 months)and precipitation(scale=12months),accounting for 28.43%,and 23.44%of changes in the GWL,*** subzone IV,agricultural irrigation(scale=12 months)was the major factor,accounting for32.47%of GWL changes,while in subzone V,the RWL(scale=12 months)accounted for52.52%of these changes.(3)The Xiaolangdi Reservoir has increased the lateral seepage of the suspended river and altered the inter-annual *** results of this study can provide a valuable reference for controlling groundwater overexploitation and ensuring water supply security.

To analyze the efect of the state-owned capital transfer policy on the sustainability of China's urban employee basic pension insurance fund(CUEBPIF),this study develops an actuarial model for pension *** results reveal the following:(i)Without policy intervention,the CUEBPIF would face a deficit in 2027 and a cumulative shortfall of RMB207.44 trillion by 2050,and the proportion of fiscal subsidies for the CUEBPIF in the total fiscal expenditure would increase to 12.86 percent in 2050.(i)Based on a delayed retirement policy,the transfer of 10 percent of state-owned capital can delay the onset of the fund deficit by 6 years,and the accumulated shortfall in 2050 would fall to RMB39.42 trillion,and the proportion of fiscal subsidies would decrease by I1.77 percentage points.(ii)The state-owned capital transfer policy can improve the sustainability of the CUEBPIF and reduce the burden of enterprise social security contributions when the transfer ratio increases to 20 percent.

The role that visual discriminative ability plays among giant pandas in social communication and individual discrimination has received less attention than olfactory and auditory ***,we used an eye-tracker technology to investigate pupil fixation patterns for 8 captive male giant pandas Ailuropoda *** paired images(N=26)of conspecifics against:1)sympatric predators(gray wolves and tigers),and non-threatening sympatric species(golden pheasant,golden snub-nosed monkey,takin,and red panda),2)conspecifics with atypical fur colora-tion(albino and brown),and 3)zookeepers/non-zookeepers wearing either work uniform or plain *** each session,we tracked the pan-da's pupil movements and measured pupil first fixation point(FFP),fixation latency,total fixation count(TFC),and duration(TFd)of attention to each ***,pandas exhibited similar attention(FFPs and TFCs)to images of predators and non-threatening sympatric *** of golden pheasant,snub-nosed monkey,and tiger received less attention(TFd)than images of conspecifics,whereas images of takin and red panda received more attention,suggesting a greater alertness to habitat or food competitors than to potential ***'TFCs were greater for images of black-white conspecifics than for albino or brown phenotypes,implying that familiar color elicited more *** reacted differently to images of men versus *** images of women only,pandas gave more attention(TFC)to familiar combinations(uniformed zookeepers and plain-clothed non-zookeepers),consistent with the familiarity *** pandas can use visual perception to discriminate intra-specifically and inter-specifically,including details of human appearance,has applications for panda conservation and captive husbandry.

BACKGROUNd Radiotherapy stands as a promising therapeutic modality for colorectal cancer(CRC);yet,the formidable challenge posed by radio-resistance significantly undermines its efficacy in achieving CRC *** To elucidate the role played by microRNA-298(miR-298)in CRC *** To establish a radio-resistant CRC cell line,HT-29 cells underwent exposure to 5 gray ionizing radiation that was followed by a 7-d recovery *** quantification of miR-298 levels within CRC cells was conducted through quantitative RT-PCR,and protein expression determination was realized through Western *** viability was assessed by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay and proliferation by clonogenic ***-induced apoptosis was discerned through flow cytometry *** We observed a marked upregulation of miR-298 in radio-resistant CRC ***-298 emerged as a key determinant of cell survival following radiation exposure,as its overexpression led to a notable reduction in radiation-induced ***,miR-298 expression exhibited a strong correlation with CRC cell *** investigation unveiled human dual-specificity tyrosine(Y)-regulated kinase 1A(dYRK1A)as miR-298’s direct *** Taken together,our findings underline the role played by miR-298 in bolstering radio-resistance in CRC cells by means of dYRK1A downregulation,thereby positioning miR-298 as a promising candidate for mitigating radioresistance in CRC.

Methane dominated gas is one of the cleanest energy resources;however, there is no direct method to determine its source rock. Natural gases produced from the eastern sichuan Basin together with seismic data were studied for their sources and secondary alteration by thermochemical sulfate reduction(TsR). Our results demonstrate that Upper Permian to Lower Triassic(P_(3)ch-T_(1)f) gases in the surrounding of the Kaijiang-Liangping area show volatile organic sulfur compounds(VOsCs) δ^(34)s values close to those of the associated H_(2)s, and may have been altered by methane-dominated TsR, resulting in positive shift in methane δ^(13)C_(1)values with increasing TsR extents. Other(or group 2) gases produced from the P_(3)ch-T_(1)f reservoirs from the southern area and the Upper Carboniferous to Middle Permian(C_(2)h-P_(2)q) from the eastern sichuan Basin are not significantly changed by TsR, show similar δ^(34)s values between the kerogens and some VOsCs, and may have been derived from the Lower silurian and Middle Permian source rocks. This study demonstrates a case for the first time showing the δ^(34)s values of VOsCs can be used as a tool for direct correlation between non-TsR altered gas and source rocks. Methane-dominated gas pools can be found using gas and source rock geochemistry combined with seismic data.
