Lithium-ion capacitors(LICs) of achieving high power and energy density have garnered.s.gnificant attention. However, the kinetics unbalance between anode and cathode can impede the application of LICs. Vanadium nitride(VN) with a high theoretical specific capacity(~ 1200 m Ah·g^(-1)) is a better pseudocapacitive anode to match the response of cathode in LICs. However, the insertion/extraction of Li-ions in VN's operation results in significant volume expansion. Herein, the VN/N-r GO-5composite that three-dimentional(3d) dicyandiamidederived-carbon(ddC) tightly wrapped VN quantum dots(VN Qd.s. on two-dimentional(2d) reduced graphene oxid(r GO) was prepared by a facile strategy. The VN Qd.s.can reduce ion diffusion length and improve charge transfer kinetics. The 2d r GO as a template provid.s.support for nanoparticle d.s.ersion and improves electrical conductivity. The 3d ddC tightly encapsulated with VN Qd.s.mitigates agglomeration of VN particles as well as volume expansion. Correspondingly, the LICs with VN/Nr GO-5 composite as anode and activated carbon(AC) as cathode were fabricated, which exhibits a high energy density and power density. such strategy provid.s.a perspective for improving the electrochemical properties of LIC anode materials by suppressing volume expansion and enhancing conductivity.

Lithium iron phosphate batteries have been increasingly utilized in recent years because their higher safety performance can improve the increasing trend of recurring thermal runaway ***,the safety performance and mechanism of high-capacity lithium iron phosphate batteries under internal short-circuit challenges remain to be *** work analyzes the thermal runaway evolution of high-capacity LiFePO_(4) batteries under different internal heat transfer mod.s.which are controlled by different penetration *** penetration cases involving complete penetration and incomplete penetration were detected during the test,and two mod.s.were performed incorporating nails that either remained or were removed after penetration to comprehensively reveal the thermal runaway mechanism.A theoretical model of microcircuits and internal heat conduction is also *** results indicated three thermal runaway evolution processes for high-capacity batteries,which corresponded to the experimental results of thermal equilibrium,single thermal runaway,and two thermal runaway *** difference in heat d.s.ribution in the three phenomena is determined based on the microstructure and material structure near the *** controlling the heat d.s.ipation conditions,the time interval between two thermal runaway events can be delayed from 558 to 1417 s,accompanied by a decrease in the concentration of in-situ gas production during the second thermal runaway event.

This paper introduces a self-sensing anthropomorphic robot hand driven by Twisted.s.ring Actuators(TsAs).The use of TsAs provid.s.several advantages such as muscle-like structures,high transmission ratios,large output forces,high efficiency,compactness,inherent compliance,and the ability to transmit power over ***,conventional sensors used in TsA-actuated robotic hands increase stiffness,mass,volume,and complexity,making feedback control *** address this issue,a novel self-sensing approach is proposed using strain-sensing string based on Conductive Polymer Composite(CPC).By measuring the resistance changes in the strain-sensing string,the bending angle of the robot hand.s.fingers can be estimated,enabling closed-loop control without external *** developed.s.lf-sensing anthropomorphic robot hand comprises a 3d-printed.s.ructure with five fingers,a palm,five self-sensing TsAs,and a 3d-printed *** studies validate the self-sensing properties of the TsA and the anthropomorphic robot ***,a real-time Virtual Reality(VR)monitoring system is implemented for visualizing and monitoring the robot hand.s.movements using its self-sensing *** research contributes valuable insights and advancements to the field of intelligent prosthetics and robotic end grippers.

The significant rise of ultra-violet（UV） radiation and pathogenic infectious bacteria poses a serious threat to global *** researchers' interests are attracted by novel materials with strong UVblocking ability,antibacterial activity and low toxicity to other *** this case,a simple wet chemical method with different annealing temperatures（400,500,and 600℃） was employed to create highly effective rare earth（sm）-doped ZnO ***（101） plane of wurtzite ZnO shifts towards a lower angle with increasing annealing temperature,according to the X-ray diffraction（XRd） study findings,which additionally establishes the consequence of lattice *** of doublet peaks of sm 3d.s. 3d5/2and.s. 3d3/2) in the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPs） spectrum clearly validates the substitution of sm3+ions in the 500℃-annealed *** 500℃-annealed nanorods exhibit combined performances of the wide band gap,improved UV absorbance,and vivid green luminescent emission（563 nm）.Additio nally,the nanorods have favorable UV-blocking execution of 96% for UVA at 360 nm,92% for UVB at 320 nm,and 57% for UVC at 225 nm,which is greater than the majority of ZnO-related materials that have been reported up to this *** doping is also appropriate for improving bacterial inhibition against the two studied.s.rains（Escherichia coli and.s.aphylococcus aureus）,in addition to the intriguing features d.s.ussed ***,with maximum inhibition zone diameters of 20±0.72 and 18±0.57 mm,respectively,these nanorods exhibit high inhibitory action against *** and *** bacterial *** rare earth-doped material developed during the current experiment,which was annealed at 500℃,could potentially serve as an effective replacement for UV-blocking and antibacterial material,especially for biomedical applications.

In 2018 and 2021,the drift-Towing Ocean Profilers(dTOP)provided extensive temperature and.s.linity data on the upper 120m ocean through their drifts over the Alpha Ridge north of the Canada *** thickness and temperature maximum of Alaska Coastal Water(ACW)ranged from 20m to 40m and-1.5℃to-0.8℃,respectively,and the salinity generally maintained from 30.2 to *** with World Ocean Atlas 2018’s climatology manifested a 40m-thick and warm ACW roughly ex-ceeding the temperature maximum by 0.4–0.5℃in June–August *** anomalously warm ACW was highly related to the ex-pansion of the Beaufort Gyre in the negative Arctic Oscillation *** summer,the under-ice oceanic heat flux F_(w)^(OHF)was elevated,with a maximum value of above 25Wm^(-2).F_(w)^(OHF)was typically low in the freezing season,with an average value of 1.2Wm^(-2).The estimates of upward heat flux contributed by ACW to the sea ice bottom F_(w)^(OHF)were in the range of 3–4Wm^(-2)in June–August 2021,when ACW contained a heat content of more than 80MJm^(-2).The heat loss over this period was driven by a weak stratification upon the ACW layer associated with a surface mixed layer(sML)approaching the ACW *** autumn,F_(w)^(OHF)was reduced(during rare events when it elevated F_(w)^(OHF)*** addition,the intensive and wid.s.read Ekman suction,which created a violent upwelling north of the Canada Basin,was largely responsible for the substantial cooling and thinning of the ACW layer in the summer of 2021.

Motivated by experiments with interacting quantum gases across high partial wave resonance,we investigate the thermodynamic properties and.s.ngle-particle spectra of Bose gases in normal phase for different interaction strengths for both p-and d-wave *** equation of state,contact density,momentum d.s.ributions and.s.lf-energies of single-particle Green’s functions are obtained in the spirit of ladder diagram *** radio-frequency(RF)spectrum,as an important experimental approach for detecting Feshbach molecules or the interaction effect,is calculated at different temperatures.A reversed temperature dependence on the Bose–Einstein condensation side and Bardeen–Cooper–schrieffer side is identified for both p-and d-wave *** estimate for the signal of RF spectra under typical experimental conditions is also provided.

Microbiome research has generated an extensive amount of data,resulting in a wealth of publicly accessible *** annotation of these samples is crucial for effectively utilizing microbiome data across scientific ***,a notable challenge arises from the lack of essential annotations,particularly regarding collection location and.s.mple biome information,which significantly hinders environmental microbiome *** this study,we introduce Meta-sorter,a novel approach utilizing neural networks and transfer learning,to enhance biome labeling for thousands of microbiome samples in the MGnify database that have incomplete *** findings demonstrate that Meta-sorter achieved a remarkable accuracy rate of 96.7%in classifying samples among the 16,507 lacking detailed biome ***,Meta-sorter provid.s.precise classifications for representative environmental samples that were previously ambiguously labeled as“Marine”in MGnify,thereby elucidating their specific origins in benthic and water column ***,Meta-sorter effectively d.s.inguishes samples derived from human-environment interactions,enabling clear differentiation between environmental and human-related *** improving the completeness of biome label information for numerous microbial community samples,our research facilitates more accurate knowledge d.s.overy across diverse d.s.iplines,with particular implications for environmental research.
