The notion of e-filters is introduced in an MS-algebra and characterized. The concept of d-filters is introduced and a set of equivalent conditions under which every d-filter is an e-filter are given. The properties of the space of all prime e-filters of an MS-algebra are observed. The concept of d-prime filters is introduced and then a set of equivalent conditions axe derived for a prime e-filter to become a d-prime filter in topological terms.

Objective:To assess the in-vitro antihacterial activity and anti-inflammatory activity of orally administered different extracts(Hydro-alcoholic,methanolic,ethyl acetate and hexane)of Rauvolfia tetraphylla(***)root bark in Carrageetiaii induced acute inflammation in ***:In-vitro antibacterial activity was evaluated for extracts against four Gram positive and four Gram negative bacteria by using cylinder plate ***-alcoholic extract(70%v/v ethanol)at 200,400 and 800 mg/kg doses and methanolic,ethyl acetate and hexane extracts at doses 100,200 and 400 mg/kg were tested for anti-inflammatory activity in Carrageenan induced rat paw oedema model and paw thickness was measured every one hour up to 6 ***:All extracts of *** root bark showed good zone of inhibition against tested bacterial *** Carrageenan induced inflammation model,hydro-alcoholic and methanolic extract of *** root bark at three different doses produced significant(Pduction when compared to vehicle treated control group and hexane,ethyl acetate ***:In the present study extracts of *** root bark shows good in-vitro antibacterial activity and in-vivo anti-inflammatory activity in rats.

To study the fuzzy and grey information in the problems of multi-attribute group decision making, the basic concepts of both fuzzy grey numbers and grey interval numbers are given firstly, then a new model of fuzzy grey multi-attribute group decision making based on the theories of fuzzy mathematics and grey system is presented. Furthermore, the grey interval relative degree and deviation degree is defined, and both the optimistic algorithm of the grey interval relational degree and the algorithm of deviation degree minimization for solving this new model are also given. Finally, a decision making example to demonstrate the feasibility and rationality of this new method is given, and the results by using these two algorithms are uniform.

Grading of fruits based on their ripeness has been a topic of research for the last two *** the ripened mangoes has become more of an art than science and is a challenging *** study aims at introducing a system to grademangoes with four classes based on their *** study was demonstrated through an extensive experimentation on a newly created dataset consisting of 981 images of Alphonsomango variety belonging to four classes viz.,under-ripen,perfectly ripen,over-ripen with internal defects and over-ripen without internal *** this study,a hierarchical approach was adopted to classify the mangoes into the four *** each stage of classification,L*a*b color space features were *** the purpose of classification at each stage,a number of classifiers and their possible combinationswere tried *** study revealed that,the Support VectorMachine(SVM)classifier works better for classifyingmangoes into under-ripen,perfectly ripen and overripen while the thresholding classifier has a superior classification performance on over-ripen with internal defects and over-ripen without internal ***,to bring out the superiority of the hierarchical approach,a conventional single shot multi-class classification approach with SVMwas also *** results of the experimentation demonstrated that the hierarchical method with an accuracy of 88%outperforms the counterpart conventional single shot multi-class classification approach in addition to several existing contemporary models.

Biocatalysts are intrinsically reactive and hence their operational stability is of vital significance for any bioprocess. The setback in biocatalyst stability has been tackled from diverse prospects. Inherently, stable biocatalysts are markedly realized and a regular attempt is being made to seek out new organisms that harbor them. Here, we analyzed the industrial biocatalyst lipase A （Native） of Bacillus subtilis and its six thermostable mutants （2M, 3M, 4M, 6M, 9M and 12M） computationally using conformational sampling technique. Consequently, the various structural events deciphering thermostability like root mean square deviation, root mean square fluctuation, radius of gyration and polar surface area showed mutant 12M to be highly stable with statistical validation. Besides, static model analysis involving intra-molecular interactions, secondary structure, solvent accessibility, hydrogen bond pattern, simulated thermal denaturation and desolvation energy also supported 12M comparatively. Of note, the presence of high secondary structural rigidity and hydrogen bonds increased thermostability and functionality of 12M, thus selecting it as a best template for designing thermostable lipases in future. Also, this study has a significant implication toward a better understanding of conformational sampling in enzyme catalysis and enzyme engineering.

The light curve solutions of two W UMa binary systems in the intermediate open cluster NGC 7789 are presented in this paper. These variables were observed using the 2 m telescope of the IUCAA-Girawali Observatory. The V passband photo- metric solutions of the two W UMa binaries were obtained using the latest version of the W-d program. The result shows that both systems are H-subtype W UMa binaries with high mass ratios.

The long-term seepage of hydrocarbons, either as macroseepage or microseepage, can set up near-surface oxidation reduction zones that favor the development of a diverse array of chemical and mineralogical changes. The bacterial oxidation of light hydrocarbons can directly or indirectly bring about significant changes in the values of pH and Eh of the surrounding environment, thereby also changing the stability fields of the different mineral species present in that environment. The paper reports the role of hydrocarbon microseepage in surface alterations of trace metal concentrations. In this study trace metal alterations were mapped that appear to be associated with hydrocarbon microseepages in the oil/ gas fields. A total of 50 soil samples were collected near oil and gas fields of the Tatipaka and Pasarlapudi areas of the Krishna Godavari Basin, Andhra Pradesh. The soil samples were collected from a depth of 2-2.5 m. The paper reports the chemical alterations associated with trace metals in soils that are related to hydrocarbon microseepages above some of the major oil and gas fields of this petroliferous region. Trace metals, such as scandium （Sc）, vanadium （V）, chromium （Cr）, cobalt （Co）, nickel （Ni）, copper （Cu）, zinc （Zn）, barium （Ba） and strontium （Sr）, in soil samples were analyzed using inductively coupled plasma- mass spectrometry （ICP-MS）. The concentrations of Sc （8 to 40 mg/kg）, V （197 to 489 mg/kg）, Cr （106 to 287 mg/kg）, Co （31 to 52 mg/kg）, Ni （65 to 110 mg/kg）, Cu （88 to 131 mg/kg）, Zn （88 to 471 mg/kg）, Ba （263 to 3,091 mg/kg） and Sr （119 to 218 mg/kg） were obtained. It was observed that the concentrations of trace elements were tremendously increased when they were compared with their normal concentrations in soils. The analysis of adsorbed soil gas showed the presence of high concentrations of YC2＋（C2H6, C3H8 and n-C4H10） ranging from 7 to 222 μg/kg respectively.
