Presently,video surveillance is commonly employed to ensure security in public places such as traffic signals,malls,railway stations,etc.A major chal-lenge in video surveillance is the identification of anomalies that exist in it such as crimes,thefts,and so ***,the anomaly detection in pedestrian walkways has gained significant attention among the computer vision communities to enhance pedestrian *** recent advances of deep Learning(dL)models have received considerable attention in different processes such as object detec-tion,image classification,*** this aspect,this article designs a new Panoptic Feature Pyramid Network based Anomaly detection and Tracking(PFPN-AdT)model for pedestrian *** proposed model majorly aims to the recognition and classification of different anomalies present in the pedestrian walkway like vehicles,skaters,*** proposed model involves panoptic seg-mentation model,called Panoptic Feature Pyramid Network(PFPN)is employed for the object recognition *** object classification,Compact bat Algo-rithm(CbA)with Stacked Auto Encoder(SAE)is applied for the classification of recognized *** ensuring the enhanced results better anomaly detection performance of the PFPN-AdT technique,a comparison study is made using Uni-versity of California San diego(UCSd)Anomaly data and other benchmark data-sets(such as Cityscapes,AdE20K,COCO),and the outcomes are compared with the Mask Recurrent Convolutional Neural Network(RCNN)and Faster Convolu-tional Neural Network(CNN)*** simulation outcome demonstrated the enhanced performance of the PFPN-AdT technique over the other methods.

Excitons,bound electron–hole pairs,in two-dimensional hybrid organic inorganic perovskites(2d HOIPs)are capable of forming hybrid light-matter states known as exciton-polaritons(E–Ps)when the excitonic medium is confined in an optical *** the case of 2d HOIPs,they can self-hybridize into E–Ps at specific thicknesses of the HOIP crystals that form a resonant optical cavity with the ***,the fundamental properties of these self-hybridized E–Ps in 2d HOIPs,including their role in ultrafast energy and/or charge transfer at interfaces,remain ***,we demonstrate that>0.5µm thick 2d HOIP crystals on Au substrates are capable of supporting multiple-orders of self-hybridized E–P *** E–Ps have high Q factors(>100)and modulate the optical dispersion for the crystal to enhance sub-gap absorption and *** varying excitation energy and ultrafast measurements,we also confirm energy transfer from higher energy E–Ps to lower energy E–***,we also demonstrate that E–Ps are capable of charge transport and transfer at *** findings provide new insights into charge and energy transfer in E–Ps opening new opportunities towards their manipulation for polaritonic devices.

The addition of surface acoustic wave(SAW)technologies to microfluidics has greatly advanced lab-on-a-chip applications due to their unique and powerful attributes,including high-precision manipulation,versatility,integrability,biocompatibility,contactless nature,and rapid ***,the development of SAW microfluidic devices is limited by complex and time-consuming micro/nanofabrication techniques and access to cleanroom facilities for multistep photolithography and vacuum-based *** simplify the fabrication of SAW microfluidic devices with customizable dimensions and functions,we utilized the additive manufacturing technique of aerosol jet *** successfully fabricated customized SAW microfluidic devices of varying materials,including silver nanowires,graphene,and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)polystyrene sulfonate(PEdOT:PSS).To characterize and compare the acoustic actuation performance of these aerosol jet printed SAW microfluidic devices with their cleanroom-fabricated counterparts,the wave displacements and resonant frequencies of the different fabricated devices were directly measured through scanning laser doppler ***,to exhibit the capability of the aerosol jet printed devices for lab-on-a-chip applications,we successfully conducted acoustic streaming and particle concentration ***,we demonstrated a novel solution-based,direct-write,single-step,cleanroom-free additive manufacturing technique to rapidly develop SAW microfluidic devices that shows viability for applications in the fields of biology,chemistry,engineering,and medicine.

In order to reach the highest intensities,modern laser systems use adaptive optics to control their beam ***,the focal spot is optimized after the compression stage of the system in order to avoid spatio-temporal *** also requires a wavefront sensor after the compressor,which should be able to measure the wavefront *** PHELIX,we have developed an ultra-compact post-compressor beam diagnostic due to strict space constraints,measuring the wavefront over the full aperture of 28 *** system features all-reflective imaging beam transport and a high dynamic range in order to measure the wavefront in alignment mode as well as on shot.

Asymptotic Approximations of Apostol-Tangent Polynomials in Terms of Hyperbolic Functions

The tangent polynomials Tn(z)are generalization of tangent numbers or the Euler zigzag numbers *** particular,Tn(0)=*** polynomials are closely related to bernoulli,Euler and Genocchi *** of the extensions and analogues of special polynomials that attract the attention of several mathematicians is the Apostol-type *** of these Apostol-type polynomials is the Apostol-tangent polynomials Tn(z,λ).Whenλ=1,Tn(z,1)=Tn(z).The use of hyperbolic functions to derive asymptotic approximations of polynomials together with saddle point method was applied to the bernoulli and Euler polynomials by Lopez and *** same method was applied to the Genocchi polynomials by Corcino et *** essential steps in applying the method are(1)to obtain the integral representation of the polynomials under study using their exponential generating functions and the Cauchy integral formula,and(2)to apply the saddle point *** is found out that the method is applicable to Apostol-tangent *** a result,asymptotic approximation of Apostol-tangent polynomials in terms of hyperbolic functions are derived for large values of the parameter n and uniform approximation with enlarged region of validity are also ***,higher-order Apostol-tangent polynomials are *** the same method,asymptotic approximation of higherorder Apostol-tangent polynomials in terms of hyperbolic functions are derived and uniform approximation with enlarged region of validity are also *** is important to note that the consideration of Apostol-type polynomials and higher order Apostol-type polynomials were not done by Lopez and *** part is first done in this *** accuracy of the approximations are illustrated by plotting the graphs of the exact values of the Apostol-tangent and higher-order Apostol-tangent polynomials and their corresponding approximate values for specific values of the parameters n,λand m.

AIM:To provide a comprehensive and more representative national data on the disease,especially on treatment options and outcomes,and to determine access of retinoblastoma patients from Luzon,Visayas and Mindanao to eye care,and determine if access is associated with delay in consultation,staging and ***:Cohort study of retinoblastoma patients seen in eleven institutions located in the three major areas of the Philippines namely Luzon,Vizayas and Mindanao from ***:Totally 636 patients,involving 821 eyes,were ***(57%)were from Luzon and were seen in institutions in Luzon(72%).Annually,58±10 new cases were seen with 71%having unilateral *** delay of consultation remained long at 9(3,17)mo,longest in patients with unilateral disease(Pd those from the Visayas(Pbased on the International Retinoblastoma Staging System,only 35%of patients had Stage 1 while 47%already had extraocular *** was the most common treatment received by 484 patients while intravenous chemotherapy was received by *** were 250(39%)patients alive,195(31%)dead,85(13%)abandoned,17(3%)refused and 89(14%)with no ***:This study presents the largest cohort of retinoblastoma patients in the Philippines in terms of patients’and participating institutions’number and geographical location and type of institution(private and public).It also presents more comprehensive data on the treatments used and outcomes(survival,globe salvage,and vision retention rates).delay in consultation was still long among patients leading to advanced disease stage and lower survival *** increasing capacity to diagnose and manage retinoblastoma in the country,the delay of consultation remains long primarily due to accessibility issues to eye care institutions especially in the Visayas and financial *** delay was still significant that overall survival rate remain low.

The oxalate co-precipitation method was used to synthesize the La3+substituted Ni-Cu-Zn(La-NCZ)nanoferrites having chemical composition Ni_(0.7)Cu_(0.1)Zn_(0.2)LaxFe_(2-x)O_(4)(x=0.015,0.025 and 0.035).dC resistivity study of nanoferrites shows both the conducting and semiconducting *** room temperature dC electrical resistivity of Ni-Cu-Zn(NCZ)nanoferrites decreases,whereas Curie temperature increases with increasing La^(3+)*** the temperature range of 30-170℃nanoferrites show p-type semiconducting behavior except x=0.015;thereafter,they show n-type *** frequency dispersive initial permeability(μi)associated with its real and imaginary(μ’andμ")parts are attributed to the domain wall movement and magnetic spin ***μi,u’andμ"of La-NCZ nanoferrites are higher than those of pure NCZ *** constant(ε’),dielectric loss(ε")and AC resistivity(ρAC)of La-NCZ nanoferrites show normal dielectric *** is found thatε’of NCZ nanoferrites decreases with the increasing content of La3+*** bandgap energy of La-NCZ nanoferrites is achieved in the range 1.36-1.70 eV confirming the semiconducting nature of materials.

A detailed comparison of the composition of(RE)-ba-Cu-O-Ag bulk superconductors

The homogeneity of the microstructure and composition are critical in determining the properties of rare earthbarium‐cuprate,single grain bulk superconductors[(RE)bCO].The magnitude of the trapped magnetic field achieveable in these technologically important materials,in particular,is influenced heavily by the size and distribution of(RE)_(2)baCuO_(x)(RE‐211)flux pinning inclusions in the bulk microstructure,whereas the size and distribution of silver agglomerates present within the bulk superconducting matrix correlate directly with improved mechanical *** careful engineering,these materials have significant potential for application in range of devices related to energy storage,medicine,electro‐magnetic machinery and microelectronic *** of(RE)bCO bulk superconductors typically involves heating a powder compact above its peritectic decomposition temperature followed by slow cooling to facilitate the growth of a single ***(RE)bCO composition has a different peritectic temperature and growth rate,which,therefore,necessitates different requirements in the heating *** fabrication temperature and growth rate,for example,may have an effect on the RE‐211 and silver distribution,which may,in turn,affect the superconducting properties of the resulting single *** this work we compare the distributions of silver and RE‐211 in the single grain microstructures of YbCOAg,GdbCO‐Ag,EubCO‐Ag and SmbCO‐Ag bulk superconductors using optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X‐ray *** observe that the distributions are very similar along both the a/b‐axis and c‐axis of these *** suggests that factors other than the maximum temperature used to achieve peritectic decomposition and the rate of single grain growth are particularly influential in determining the properties of the as‐processed samples in the top seeded melt growth *** observation demonstrates there is freedom to us
