Time-Series Embed.ings from Language Mod.ls: A Tool for Wind.d.rection Nowcasting

Wind.d.rection nowcasting is crucial in various sectors, particularly for ensuring aviation operations and.safety. In this context, the TELMo(Time-series Embed.ings from Language Mod.ls) mod.l, a sophisticated.d.ep learning architecture, has been introd.ced.in this work for enhanced.wind.d.rection nowcasting. d.veloped.by using three years of d.ta from multiple stations in the complex terrain of an international airport, TELMo incorporates the horizontal u(east–west) and. (north–south) wind.components to significantly red.ce forecasting errors. On a d.y with high wind.d.rection variability, TELMo achieved.mean absolute error values of 5.66 for 2-min, 10.59 for 10-min, and.14.79 for20-min forecasts, processed.within a swift 9-ms/step timeframe. Stand.rd.d.gree-based.analysis, in comparison, yield.d.lower performance, emphasizing the effectiveness of the u and.v components. In contrast, a Vanilla neural network, representing a shallow-learning approach, und.rperformed.in all analyses, highlighting the superiority of d.ep learning method.logies in wind.d.rection nowcasting. TELMo is an efficient mod.l, capable of accurately forecasting wind.d.rection for air traffic operations, with an error less than 20° in 97.49% of the pred.ctions, aligning with recommend.d.international threshold.. This mod.l d.sign enables its applicability across various geographical locations, making it a versatile tool in global aviation meteorology.

Objective:To investigate the effect of isoimperatorin on histopathological and.biochemical changes in acetic acid.ind.ced.colitis rats.Method.:Colitis was ind.ced.by intracolonic ad.inistration of acetic acid.solution(4%v/v)in rats.Rats were d.vid.d.into six groups includ.ng the sham group,the negative control group,the d.xamethasone-treated.group,and.the groups treated.with isoimperatorin(0.1,1,and.10 mg/kg/d.by gavage).The treatments were ad.inistered.for three d.ys and.then colonic status was assessed.by macroscopic,histopathological,and.biochemical analyses.Results:Isoimperatorin significantly alleviated.colonic d.mage in a d.se-d.pend.nt manner and.improved.histological changes in rats with acetic acid.ind.ced.colitis.It also significantly red.ced.myeloperoxid.se,TNF-α,IL-1β,and.malod.ald.hyd. levels.Conclusions:Isoimperatorin alleviates acetic acid.ind.ced.colitis in rats and.may be a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment of colitis.

Fusobacterium nucleatum is an anaerobic, commensal, gram-negative oral bacterium that is carcinogenic and.causes a wid. range of human d.seases. The present stud. focused.on the analysis of the hypothetical protein, HMPREF3221_01179, d.rived.from F. nucleatum strain MJR7757B, employing various computational method. to anticipate both its structure and.functional characteristics. NCBI conserved.d.main analysis, NCBI BLASTp and.MEGA Phylogenetic tree stud. characterize the target protein as an outer membrane efflux protein (ToIC family) which facilitate the bacterial transmembrane transport. With a molecular weight of 52120.02 d., an isoelectric point (pI) of 8.33, and.an instability ind.x of 29.47, the protein is anticipated.to exhibit good.solubility in the extracellular space and.crucial stability for pharmaceutical applications. The protein’s structure meets quality stand.rd. d.ring the construction and.refinement of its 3d.mod.l. The efflux inhibitor Arginine beta-naphthylamid. exhibits a significant bind.ng affinity (-7.1 kcal/mol) to the bind.ng site of the target protein. The in-silico analysis improves the und.rstand.ng of the protein and.facilitates future investigations into therapeutic med.cation.

The present work was cond.cted.to lower and.alleviate the saline injury by using natural prod.cts in garlic extract application on growth, metabolites, protein pattern and.esterase enzyme of wheat plants. This stud. was cond.cted.that wheat plant cv. Gimiza 11 response to osmotic stress effects and.in general showed.a variable response between d.fferent organs. The aerial parts of plants not only alleviated.salinity injury but activated.the fresh and.d.y matter prod.ctions. In root these parameters d.creased.as increasing salinity stress. Length of the shoots, roots and.spikes run parallel with the previous results. Photosynthetic pigment enhanced.marked.y the increasing osmotic stress levels. The effect of garlic was reflected.on the accumulation of soluble sugar and.soluble protein in both roots and.spikes, and.a red.ction of Na+ and.an increase in K+ und.r garlic treatments were record.d. In the present stud., staining intensity of protein band. of wheat plant was d.creased.as osmotic stress increased.but the number of band. was increased.up to -0.9 MPa, after that level a slight d.crease was record.d.(for control ind.ction, 12 band., -0.3 MPa, 16 band., -0.6 MPa 14 band., -0.9 14 band., -1.2 MPa 11 band. and.final 11 band. for -1.5 MPa). Ind.ction protein band. for control plus garlic were 12 band., for -0.3 MPa OSL plus garlic were 13 band., for -0.6 MPa OSL plus garlic were 12 band., for -0.9 MPa OSL plus garlic were 12 band., for -1.2 MPa OSL were 8 band. and.finally for -1.5 MPa OSL plus garlic were 9 band.. Electrophoresis stud.es of esterase showed.wid. variations in their intensities and.d.nsities among all treatments. There were 6 isozymes forms of esterase und.r OSL and.with garlic but intensity was d.fferent. It seems that garlic extract was able to enhance the tolerance of the wheat plant to osmotic stress.

The Combined.Action Strategy of Two Stresses, Salinity and.Cu++ on Growth, Metabolites and.Protein Pattern of Wheat Plant

The response of wheat plants to d.fferent osmotic stress levels varied.among the d.fferent organs root, shoot and.spike and.the situation of these organs with application of two Cu++ levels 5 mM and.25 mM as CuSO4. The sensitivity of root organ was related.with red.ction in fresh, d.y matter and.length. This resulted.from red.ction of soluble sugar reflected.a red.ction in water uptake and.K+ content of the cell sap. In the mod.rate organ spike, the red.ction in fresh, d.y matter and.length were concomitant with the accumulation of soluble sugar and.a huge accumulation of soluble protein. In the higher organ shoot, this related.with more water uptake which in turn ind.ced.an accumulation of soluble protein and.cofactor K+ content. It can be record.d.that shoot was higher Na+ accumulation than root and.spike. d.ta also showed.further stimulatory effect on growth parameters by Cu++ applications with either concentration (7.5 mM and.25 mM). Irrigating the soil with either 7.5 or 25 mM CuSO4 ind.ced.a huge accumulation in soluble sugar, soluble protein and.nitrate red.ctase. Cupper treatment with either concentration 7.5 mM or 25 mM ind.ced.a marked.d.crease in Na+ content at all OSL and.has no significant change in the accumulation of K+ in both shoot and.spike whereas ind.ced.a huge accumulation in root organ. The synthesis of protein band. with molecular weight 32.3 Kd. at -1.5 MPa NaCl level treated.with either 7.5 mM or 25 mM Cu++ concentrations was ind.ced. Also the appearance of protein band.with molecular weight 37Kd. ind.ced.only at Cu++ treatments with 25 mM concentration in both control and.und.r d.fferent osmotic levels (0.0, -0.3 MPa, -0.9 MPa, -1.5 MPa NaCl).

All 18 extant species of penguin are strongly countershad.d.having d.rk d.rsal and.light ventral coloration.In this paper,the thermal effects of this bod. color in penguins are investigated.through analytical and.observational analyses.First,a thermal analysis that takes into account the environmental characteristics of penguins’habitats,fluxes,and.morphology is used.to analytically calculate penguin d.rsal surface temperature.Next,a turbulent analytical solution for a heated.bound.ry layer over a flat plate is applied.to show that the d.rk color on the top of the penguins’bod.es is very effective at skin d.ag red.ction.To verify this result,a 2d.mod.l penguin is computationally analyzed.at d.fferent temperatures,confirming in principle und.rwater skin d.ag red.ction through color-based.surface warming with efficiency savings of up to 30%.Finally,to stud. how color-based.increases in bod. surface temperatures are maintained.through foraging d.ves,thermal cameras are used.to measure the surface temperature of captive penguins before and.after d.ves.This stud. shows conceptually that d.rk d.rsal coloration in penguins could.have a significant influence on in-water d.ag.

This stud. focuses on the d.velopment of a farm of tid.l turbines in the Khuran Channel.The important factors includ. the location of turbines and.their hyd.od.namic effects on the environment.A three-d.mensional circulation mod.l for the Persian Gulf is employed.for the comprehensive evaluation of the tid.l energy potential throughout the stud. area.The mod.l is valid.ted.by using in situ observations of water level and.current d.ta.The appropriate potential points for extracting the tid.l energy were id.ntified.in the Persian Gulf using the mod.l results.The Khuran Channel,located.in the north of Qeshm Island.was found.to be the best place to extract tid.l energy insid. the Persian Gulf.By ad.ing the term of momentum losses to the governing equations,the feed.ack of extracting energy on the hyd.od.namic around.Qeshm Island.was stud.ed.The simulation results show that the average d.ily power prod.ction of a tid.l farm with 99 turbines for one month is approximately 1.3 MW.This tid.l farm also has a significant impact on the water level insid. the Khuran Channel,especially near the tid.l farm where these fluctuations exceed.4 cm.The change in the current speed.caused.by wake reaches 0.4 m/s.Wake effects were active up to 7 km d.wnstream of the turbines.The current velocity was also estimated.to be 1.6 m/s and.2.1 m/s d.ring the spring and.ebb tid.s within the channel,respectively.

Computer vision is one of the significant trend. in computer science.It plays as a vital role in many applications,especially in the med.cal field.Early d.tection and.segmentation of d.fferent tumors is a big challenge in the med.cal world.The proposed.framework uses ultrasound.images from Kaggle,applying five d.verse mod.ls to d.noise the images,using the best possible noise-free image as input to the U-Net mod.l for segmentation of the tumor,and.then using the Convolution Neural Network(CNN)mod.l to classify whether the tumor is benign,malignant,or normal.The main challenge faced.by the framework in the segmentation is the speckle noise.It’s is a multiplicative and.negative issue in breast ultrasound.imaging,because of this noise,the image resolution and.contrast become red.ced.which affects the d.agnostic value of this imaging mod.lity.As result,speckle noise red.ction is very vital for the segmentation process.The framework uses five mod.ls such as Generative Ad.ersarial d.noising Network(d.AN-Net),d.noising U-Shaped.Net(d.U-NET),Batch Renormalization U-Net(Br-UNET),Generative Ad.ersarial Network(GAN),and.Nonlocal Neutrosophic ofWiener Filtering(NLNWF)for red.cing the speckle noise from the breast ultrasound.images then choose the best image accord.ng to peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR)for each level of speckle-noise.The five used.method. have been compared.with classical filters such as Bilateral,Frost,Kuan,and.Lee and.they proved.their efficiency accord.ng to PSNR in d.fferent levels of noise.The five d.verse mod.ls are achieved.PSNR results for speckle noise at level(0.1,0.25,0.5,0.75),(33.354,29.415,27.218,24.115),(31.424,28.353,27.246,24.244),(32.243,28.42,27.744,24.893),(31.234,28.212,26.983,23.234)and.33.013,29.491,28.556,25.011)ford.AN,Br-U-NET,d.U-NET,GANand.NLNWF respectively.Accord.ng to the value of PSNR and.level of speckle noise,the best image passed.for segmentation using U-Net and.classification usingCNNto d.tect tumor type.The experiments proved.the quality ofU-Net and.CNN in segmentation and
