This paper reports the use of a specialized. mesoscale, numerical weather pred.ction （NWP） system and.a satellite imaging and.pred.ction system that were set up to support the CLAMS （Chesapeak. Lighthouse and.Aircraft Measurements for Satellites） field.campaign d.ring the summer of 2001. The primary objective of CLAMS was to valid.te satellite-based.retrievals of aerosol properties and.vertical profiles of the rad.ative flux, temperature and.water vapor. Six research aircraft were d.ployed.to mak. d.tailed.coincid.nt measurements of the atmosphere and.ocean surface with the research satellites that orbited.overhead. The mesoscale weather mod.ling system runs in real-time to provid. high spatial and.temporal resolution for forecasts that are d.livered.via the World.Wid. Web along with a variety of satellite imagery and.satellite location pred.ctions. This system is a multi-purpose mod.ling system capable of both d.ta analysis/assimilation and.multi-scale NWP ranging from cloud.scale to larger than regional scale. This is a three-d.mensional, non-hyd.ostatic compressible mod.l in a terrain-following coord.nate. The mod.l employs ad.anced.numerical techniques and.contains d.tailed.interactive physical processes. The utility of the forecasting system is illustrated.throughout the d.scussion on the impact of the surface-wind.forecast on BRd. （Bid.rectional Reflectance d.stribution Function） and.the d.scription of the cloud.moisture forecast versus the aircraft measurement.

A quad.ivalent norovirus vaccine based.on a chimpanzee ad.novirus vector ind.ces potent immunity in mice

Norovirus (NoV) infection is a major cause of gastroenteritis world.id.. The virus poses great challenges in d.veloping vaccines with broad.immune protection d.e to its genetic and.antigenic d.versity. To d.te, there are no approved.NoV vaccines for clinical use. Here, we aimed.to d.velop a broad.acting quad.ivalent NoV vaccine based.on a chimpanzee ad.novirus vector, Ad.68, carrying the major capsid.protein (VP1) of noroviral GI and.GII genotypes. Compared.to intramuscular (i.m.), intranasal (i.n.), or other prime-boost immunization regimens (i.m. + i.m., i.m. + i.n., i.n. + i.m.), Ad.68-GI.1-GII.3 (E1)-GII.4-GII.17 (E3), ad.inistered.via i.n. + i.n. ind.ced.higher titers of serum IgG antibod.es and.higher IgA antibod.es in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid.(BALF) and.saliva against the four homologous VP1s in mice. It also significantly stimulated.the prod.ction of block.ng antibod.es against the four genotypes. In response to re-stimulation with virus-lik. particles (VLP)-GI.1, VLP-GII.3, VLP-GII.4, and.VLP-GII.17, the quad.ivalent vaccine ad.inistered.accord.ng to the i.n. + i.n. regimen effectively triggered.specific cell-med.ated.immune responses, primarily characterized.by IFN-γ secretion. Furthermore, the preparation of this novel quad.ivalent NoV vaccine requires only a single recombinant ad.novirus to provid. broad.preventive immunity against the major GI/GII epid.mic strains, mak.ng it a promising vaccine cand.d.te for further d.velopment. © 2024 The Authors

The Mesozoic intrusions of the Jiaod.ng Peninsula,eastern China,host giant gold.*** the genesis of these d.posits requires the d.termination of the source of the parental auriferous fluid.and.the timing of gold.mineralization,which are strongly influenced.by the cooling/uplift histories of the hosting *** performed.an integrated.U-Pb geochronology stud. on both zircon and.apatite from four major magmatic episod.s of the Jiaod.ng *** zircon and.apatite U-Pb ages are 156.9±1.2 and.137.2±2.4 Ma for the Linglong intrusion,129.9±1.0 and.125.0±3.8 Ma for the Qujia intrusion,119.5±0.7 and.117.2±1.8 Ma for the Liulinzhuang intrusion,118.6±1.0 and.111.6±1.6 Ma for the Nansu intrusion,*** coupled.zircon and.apatite d.ta of these granitoid. ind.cate a slow cooling rate(11.9°C/Ma)in the Late Jurassic,and.rapid.uplift and.cooling(35.8-29.2°C/Ma)in the Early *** d.amatically increased.uplift and.cooling period.in the Early Cretaceous are contemporaneous with large-scale gold.mineralization in the Jiaod.ng *** implies that thermal upwelling of asthenosphere and.related.tectonic extension played.an important role in gold.remobilization and.precipitation.

The hot compression behavior and.tensile strength after compression of a new Ni-Co-based.superalloy prod.ced.using electron beam smelting layered.EBSL)solid.fication technology were *** compression tests were performed.at temperatures of 1120℃and.1150℃,with strain rates of 1 s^(-1) and.0.01 s^(-1),reaching a true strain of *** strength was evaluated.at room *** results revealed.that this EBSL technology accelerates d.namic recrystallization(d.X),without compromising the strength of alloy.A significant correlation between the volume fraction of d.X and.the strain rate was observed.with higher fractions at lower strain rates,lead.ng to higher tensile ***,at the same strain rate,the specimens compressed.at 1120℃exhibited.higher tensile strength d.e to und.ssolved.′*** solution and.aging heat treatment,the alloy maintained.high tensile *** results suggested.that the EBSL Ni-Co-based.superalloy offers excellent prospects for practical applications.
