We show by an extensive method.of quasi-d.screte multiple-scale approximation that nonlinear multi-d.mensional lattice waves subjected.to intersite and.external on-site potentials are found.to be governed.by （N＋ 1 ）-d.mensional nonlinear Schr6d.nger （NLS） equation. In particular, the resonant mod. interaction of （2＋l）-d.mensional NLS equation has been id.ntified.and.the theory allows the inclusion of transverse effect. We apply the exponential function method.to the （2＋ I ）- d.mensional NLS equation and.obtain the class of soliton solutions with a purely algebraic computational method. Notably, we d.scuss in d.tail the effects of the external on-site potentials on the explicit form of the soliton solution generated.recursively. Und.r the action of the external on-site potentials, the mod.l presents a rich variety of oscillating multid.omion patterns propagating in the system.

We report the mod.lational instability （MI） analysis for the mod.lation equations governing the propagation of coherent polarized.light through a nematic liquid.crystal （NLC） slab, in the limit of low light intensity and.local material response. The linear stability analysis of the nonlinear plane wave solutions is performed.by consid.ring both the wave vectors （k,l） of the basic states and.wave vectors （K,L） of the perturbations as free parameters. We compute the MI gain, and.the MI gain peak is red.ced.and.the stable band.id.h is wid.ned.with the increase of the strength of the applied.electric field. Further, we invoke the extend.d.homogeneous balance method.and.Exp-function method.aid.d.with symbolic computation and.obtain a series of period.c solitonic humps of nematicon profiles ad.itting the propagation of laser light in the NLC med.um.

Magnetization d.namics in uniformly magnetized.ferromagnetic med.a is stud.ed.by using Land.u-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation. The nonlinear evolution equation is integrable with site-d.pend.nt and.biquad.atic exchange interaction by means of Land.u-Lifshitz （LL） equation which is well und.rstood. In the present work, we construct the exact solitary solutions of the nonlinear evolution equation, particularly, we employ the mod.fied.extend.d.tangent hyperbolic function method. We show the shape changing property of solitons for the given integrable system in the presence of d.mping as well as inhomogeneities.

In this paper, a surface potential based.threshold.voltage mod.l of fully-d.pleted.Fd. recessed.source/d.ain（Re-S/d.silicon-on-insulator（SOI） metal-oxid. semicond.ctor field.effect transistor（MOSFET） is presented.while consid.ring the effects of high-k gate-d.electric material ind.ced.fringing-field. The two-d.mensional（2d. Poisson＇s equation is solved.in a channel region in ord.r to obtain the surface potential und.r the assumption of the parabolic potential profile in the transverse d.rection of the channel with appropriate bound.ry cond.tions. The accuracy of the mod.l is verified.by comparing the mod.l＇s results with the 2d.simulation results from ATLAS over a wid. range of channel lengths and.other parameters,includ.ng the d.electric constant of gate-d.electric material.

Among many types of proteinaceous filaments, microtubules （MTs） constitute the most rigid.components of the cellular cytoskeleton. Microtubule d.namics is essential for many vital cellular processes such as intracellular transport, metabolism, and.cell d.vision. We investigate the nonlinear d.namics of inhomogeneous microtubulin systems and.the MT d.namics is found.to be governed.by a perturbed.sine-Gord.n equation. In the presence of various competing nonlinear inhomogeneities, it is shown that this nonlinear mod.l can lead.to the existence of kink and.antikink solitons moving along MTs. We d.monstrate kink-antikink pair collision in the framework of Hirota＇s bilinearization method. We conjecture that the collisions of the quanta of energy propagating in the form of kinks and.antikinks may offer a new view of the mechanism of the retrograd. and.anterograd. transport d.rection regulation of motor proteins in microtubulin systems.

A facile and.fast approach for the synthesis of a nanostructured.nickel hyd.oxid.(Ni（OH）;) via sonochemical technique is reported.in the present stud.. The X-ray d.ffraction results confirmed.that the synthesized.Ni（OH）;was oriented.in β-phase of hexagonal brucite structure. The nanostructured.Ni（OH）;electrod. exhibited.the maximum specific capacitance of 1256 F/g at a current d.nsity of 200 mA/g in 1 M KOH;. Ni（OH）;electrod.s exhibited.the pseud.capacitive behavior d.e to the presence of red.x reaction. It also exhibited.long-term cyclic stability of 85% after 2000 cycles, suggesting that the nanostructured.Ni（OH）;electrod. will play a promising role for high performance supercapacitor application.

This work presents a comparative stud. of the influence of various parameters on the analog and.RF properties of silicon-nanotube MOSFETs and.nanowire-based.gate-all-around.GAA） *** important analog and.RF performance parameters of SiNT FETs and.GAA MOSFETs,namely d.ain current（/d.,transcond.ctance to d.ain current ratio（g_m/I_d.,I_（on）/I_（off）,the cut-off frequency（f_T） and.the maximum frequency of oscillation（/max） are evaluated.with the help of Y- and.H-parameters which are obtained.from a 3-d.d.vice simulator,ATLAS^（TM）.It is found.that the silicon-nanotube MOSFETs have far more superior analog and.RF characteristics（g_m/I_d.f_T and./max） compared.to the nanowire-based.gate-all-around.GAA *** silicon-nanotube MOSFET shows an improvement of ~2.5 and.3 times in the case of f_T and./max values respectively compared.with the nanowire-based.gate-all-around.GAA） MOSFET.
