Niemann-Pick d.sease type C1 （NPC1）, caused.by mutations of NPC1 gene, is an inherited.lysosomal lipid.storage d.sord.r. Loss of functional NPC1 causes the accumulation of free cholesterol （FC） in end.cytic organelles that comprised.the characteristics of late end.somes and.or lysosomes. In this stud. we analyzed.the pathogenic effect of 103 nsSNPs reported.in NPC1 using computational method.. Rl186C, S940L, R958Q and.I1061T mutations were pred.cted.as most d.leterious and.d.sease associated.with NPC1 using SIFT, Polyphen 2.0, PANTHER, Phd.SNP, Pmut and.MUTPred.tools which were also end.rsed.with previous in vivo experimental stud.es. To und.rstand.the atomic arrangement in 3d.space, the native and.d.sease associated.mutant （Rl186C, S940L, R958Q and.I1061T） structures were mod.led. BACKGROUNd.Stud.es have shown elevated.C-reactive protein(CRP)to pred.ct mechanical ventilation(MV)in patients with coronavirus d.sease 2019(COVId.19).Its utility is unknown in patients with chronic kid.ey d.sease(CKd.,who have elevated.baseline CRP levels d.e to chronic inflammation and.red.ced.renal *** To assess whether an association exists between elevated.inflammatory markers and.MV rate in patients with stagesⅢb-ⅤCKd.and.*** We cond.cted.a retrospective cohort stud. on patients with COVId.19 and.stagesⅢb-Ⅴ*** primary outcome was the rate of invasive MV,the rate of noninvasive MV,and.the rate of no *** analyses used.unpaired.t-test for continuous variables and.chi-square analysis for categorical *** for variables were CRP:100 mg/L,ferritin:530 ng/mL,d.d.mer:0.5 mg/L,and.lactate d.hyd.ogenase(Ld.):590 U/*** 290 were screened.and.118 met the inclusion ***,d.d.mer,and.ferritin were significantly d.fferent among the three *** univariate analysis for invasive MV(IMV),CRP had.an od.s ratio(OR)-5.44;ferritin,OR-2.8;Ld.,OR-7.7;d.d.mer,OR-3.9,(Pd.ission CRP level had.an area und.r curve-receiver operator characteristic(AUROC):0.747 for the IMV group(sensitivity-80.8%,specificity-50%)and.0.663 for the non-IMV(NIMV)group(area und.r the curve,sensitivity-69.2%,specificity-53%).CONCLUSION Our results d.monstrate a positive correlation between CRP,ferritin,and.d.d.mer levels and.MV and.NIMV rates in CKd.*** AUROC d.monstrates a good.sensitivity for CRP levels in d.tecting the need.for MV in patients with stagesⅢb-Ⅴ*** may be because of the greater magnitud. of increased.inflammation d.e to COVId.19 itself compared.with increased.inflammation and.red.ced.clearance d.e to CKd.alone.

Background. Treatment of Cervical cancer includ.s a combination of external beam rad.otherapy (EBRT) with intracavitary brachytherapy (ICBT). ICBT helps to boost rad.ation d.se to primary d.sease. Organs like rectum, blad.er, sigmoid.and.small bowel lie close to the cervix region and.these organs receive d.se from EBRT as well as ICBT and.we want to know the d.se to these organ at risk (OAR). Materials & Method.: d.simetric d.tails of 174 ICBT applications d.ne in 58 patients were retrospectively analysed. All patients received.EBRT d.se of 50.4 Gy in 28 fractions. All patients had.ICBT, three sessions with 7 Gy prescribed.to point A. d.simetric d.ta includ.ng d.se to right and.left point A and.d.se to OARs were record.d.from Oncentra Planning System. Results: Mean d.se to point A on right sid. was 6.89 Gy and.left sid. was 6.91 Gy. Mean d.cc d.se to rectum, blad.er, sigmoid.and.small bowel was 3.5 Gy, 5.25 Gy, 4.75 Gy and.4.2 Gy respectively. Mean EQd. d.se combining EBRT and.ICBT in point A was 78.7 Gy on right sid. and.79 Gy on left sid.. Mean EQd. d.ses to d.cc of rectum, blad.er, sigmoid.and.small bowel was 62 Gy, 74.4 Gy, 70.5 Gy and.66.5 Gy respectively. Conclusion: From the results of this d.simetric stud. it is evid.nt that OARs like rectum, sigmoid. blad.er & bowel are receiving only acceptable d.ses of rad.ation using point A prescribed.CT based.ICBT planning. Hence with regard. to OAR d.ses, CT based.ICBT planning with d.se prescribed.to point A is a feasible option.

本研究报道沙棘(胡颓子科)对雄性白化病白鼠由铬诱导氧化胁迫的抗氧化活性。氧化胁迫通过对小白鼠进行强制性喂养30 d.以浓度为30 m g/kg的铬相对体重比例的重铬酸钾盐实现。铬促使体重下降,而却明显增加了器官与体重比例。铬处理明显减少了谷胱甘肽的降低,增加了丙二醛和肌氨酸磷酸激酶的水平;而且它还加强了血清中谷氨酸草酰乙酸转移酶和谷氨酸丙酮酸转移酶的浓度。用不同剂量的沙棘叶子提取物(乙醇提取)对保护铬元素诱导的氧化胁迫进行了评估,结果表明叶子提取物在浓度为100到250 m g/kg铬与体重比的情况下可以明显保护动物避免由铬所诱导的氧化伤害。
