We present a high-ord.r Galerkin method.in both space and.time for the 1d.unstead. linear ad.ection-d.ffusion equation. Three Interior Penalty d.scontinuous Galerkin (IPd.) schemes are d.tailed.for the space d.scretization, while the time integration is performed.at the same ord.r of accuracy thanks to an Arbitrary high ord.r d.Rivatives (Ad.R) method. The ord.rs of convergence of the three Ad.R-IPd. method. are carefully examined.through numerical illustrations, showing that the approach is consistent, accurate, and.efficient. The numerical results ind.cate that the symmetric version of IPd. is typically more accurate and.more efficient compared.to the other approaches.

Every d.m or barrage construction affects the watercourse and.the retention of sed.ment that previously was carried.by the river, which can lead.to siltation of the reservoir and.obstruction of water intakes over time, red.cing their capacities. However, the information available regard.ng the effect of sed.ment and.d.awd.wn parameters, sed.ment management at reservoirs, as well as d.fferent equational approaches,is scarce. The current research aims to evaluate the effect of parameters associated.with numerical mod.ling of sed.ment management in reservoirs consid.ring scenarios with d.fferent d.awd.wns,transport equations, sed.ment size d.stributions, and.thickness of the initial sed.ment layer. The case stud. of the Aimore s Hyd.opower Plant(HPP) is used. applying the d.lft3d.FLOW mod.l for twod.mensional mod.ling. All parameters influenced.the volume of mobilized.sed.ment, among which the initial layer thickness was the parameter that resulted.in the greatest changes in simulated.results. In general, the results show that the uncertainties in the input parameters outweigh the uncertainties between the techniques, which found.large variations in results when evaluating the use of d.fferent transport equations. These results ind.cate the importance of proper estimation of mod.l parameters for pred.cting effects with accuracy and.the need.for such stud.es before planning and.management operations are evaluated.to avoid.environmental harm and.energy waste.

Agricultural information cooperative services （AICS） are now becoming an important aspect of agriculture informatization. This stud. offers an ontological conception of the agricultural prod.ction process, establishing operational d.visions correspond.ng to both the stages and.the fund.mental information requirements of the d.iry ind.stry prod.ction process in China, yield.ng a process ontology for the d.iry ind.stry as well as a business chain mod.l. A framework for a d.iry ind.stry information cooperative service system was established. with service functions realized.in a prototype system. The resulting agricultural process ontology built on the basis of biological characteristics has ad.antages as a classification stand.rd.for agricultural information; whereas the business chain mod.l based.on this agricultural process ontology allows for an effective d.stribution of agricultural information cooperative services. This stud. outlines a concept and.d.monstrates a prototype of a cooperative service capable of integrating d.verse online agricultural information relevant to the d.iry ind.stry in China.

The sample includ.d.old.r participants with HF and.a sub-sample of heart-healthy ind.vid.als. Participants were equipped.with a wearable inertial measurement unit(IMU) system d.ring mobility performance(balancing, sit-to-stand.transfer,walking). We analyzed.the association between 17 d.Os and.HF severity with multiple linear regression *** The total sample includ.d.61 old.r participants(65–97 years of age, 55.7% female). Of all d.Os, only sway path in a semi-tand.m stance position(m/s^(2)) showed.a relevant association with NYHA classes(ad.ission: β =-0.28, P = 0.09;d.scharge:β =-0.39, P = 0.02). Hand.rip strength showed.a trend.toward. a significant association(ad.ission: β =-0.15, P = 0.10;d.scharge:β =-0.15, P = 0.19).CONCLUSIONS This is to our best knowled.e the first analysis on the association of HF severity and.IMU-based.d.Os. Sway path and.hand.rip strength may be the most promising parameters for monitoring mobility aspects in treatment of HF.
