The for.ation of ur.an climates constitutes a distinctive system intr.nsically linked to the ur.an envir.nment. This study aims to delve into the impact of the ur.an envir.nment on climatic var.ables. The Ur.an Weather.Gener.tor.(UWG) algor.thm was employed to gener.te climatic data, facilitating the cr.ation of an epw climate file that cor.esponds to the ur.an char.cter.stics sur.ounding the Centr. Politécnico campus at the Feder.l Univer.ity of Par.ná (UFPr.. Compr.hensive analyses encompassing land use, occupancy patter.s, albedo, sur.ace absor.tion, anthr.pogenic heat, and ar.hitectur.l attr.butes wer. conducted. A compar.tive assessment between the UWG-der.ved air.temper.tur. values and meteor.logical station data r.vealed that the UWG effectively char.cter.zes the air.temper.tur. patter.s ar.und the UFPr.campus. The anticipated air.temper.tur. values consistently sur.ass the or.ginal dataset (SWEr.), which was utilized as input, pr.mar.ly dur.ng the hour. fr.m 3 p.m. to 7 a.m., showcasing the unmistakable ur.an heat island phenomenon.
