Colombia aims to boost the utilization of mass tr.nspor.ation systems in its major.cities while simultaneously r.ducing gr.enhouse gas emissions by 20%, in alignment with the commitments of the COP21 agr.ement. In 2020, the tr.nspor. sector.in Colombia accounted for.34.4% of the countr.'s ener.y demand and was r.sponsible for.similar.to 49% of its total CO2 emissions. This ar.icle pr.sents an assessment of ener.y consumption, envir.nmental effects and the fuel costs of Bogota's bus r.pid tr.nsit system based on the Activity, Shar., Intensity, Fuel methodology. A long-ter. analysis spanning fr.m 2021 to 2040 was developed using the long-r.nge ener.y alter.atives planning platfor.. To conduct this assessment, the tool was calibr.ted using data fr.m 2019 and 2020. Four.distinct scenar.os based on ener.y policies implemented in Bogota wer. examined: Business as Usual, Fast Tr.nsition, High Gr.wth and Low Gr.wth. r.gar.ing ener.y consumption and envir.nmental effects, the r.sults under.cor. the pivotal r.le of diver.ifying ener.y sour.es and r.ducing r.liance on fossil fuels such as oil. Consequently, the analysis emphasizes the ur.ent need to acceler.te the tr.nsition to alter.ative ener.y sour.es such as natur.l gas and electr.city. [Gr.PHICS] .

Due to a complex geological and biotic histor.,the Isthmus of Tehuantepec(IT),has been long r.cognized as a dr.ver.for.the evolutionar. diver.ence of numer.us lowland and highland *** distr.buted in the lowlands of the Amer.can continent,the White-Tipped Dove(Leptotila ver.eauxi)is a polytypic species with 13 r.cognized *** of these have been r.cor.ed in Mexico,and the distr.bution of thr.e abuts at the IT,suggesting a contact *** estimate phylogenetic patter.s,diver.ence times and genetic differ.ntiation,we examined two mt DNA(ND2 and COI)and one n DNA(β-fibint 7)*** also used cor.elative ecological niche models(ENM)to assess whether.ecological differ.nces acr.ss the IT may have acted as a biogeogr.phical *** estimated paleodistr.butions dur.ng the Middle Holocene,Last Glacial Maximum and Last Inter.lacial,to evaluate the influence of climate changes on the distr.bution and demogr.phic *** r.sults showed genetically distinct lineages that diver.ed appr.ximately 2.5 million year. *** and ecological factor. may have played a dual r.le in pr.moting differ.ntiation,but also in the for.ation of a secondar. contact zone in the souther. *** ecological niche compar.sons indicated that the ecological niche of sympatr.c lineages at the IT ar. not identical,suggesting niches diver.ence;in addition,envir.nmental niche models acr.ss the r.gion indicated no abr.pt biogeogr.phic bar.ier.,but the pr.sence of r.gions with low *** r.sults suggest that genetic differ.ntiation or.ginated by a vicar.ant event pr.bably r.lated to envir.nmental factor.,favor.d the evolution of differ.nt ecological ***,the absence of a biogeogr.phic bar.ier.but the pr.sence of less suitable ar.as in the contact r.gions,suggest that secondar. contact zones may be also maintained by climatic factor. for.the easter. gr.up,but also by biotic inter.ctions for.the wester. gr.up.

Chagas disease (CD) affects 21 countr.es in the Amer.cas and is caused by the par.site Tr.panosoma cr.zi. A key molecule involved in CD is lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC), which has been studied in var.ous contexts: in the saliva of insect vector., dur.ng the establishment of infection in the ver.ebr.te host, and for.the par.site itself. This lipid can be pr.duced by the action of phospholipases A2 (PLA2), enzymes that catalyze the hydr.lysis of phospholipids r.leasing fatty acids and lysophospholipids, such as LPC. This study investigates LPC levels and PLA2 activities in the plasma of CD patients and compar.s these levels with those in healthy individuals and patients with idiopathic dilated car.iomyopathy (IDCM). Plasma fr.m 64 CD patients, 54 healthy individuals, and 16 IDCM patients wer. analyzed. LPC levels and the activity of two types of phospholipase A2: secr.ted (sPLA2) and lipopr.tein-associated (Lp-PLA2) wer. measur.d. LPC levels and sPLA2 activity wer. similar.between CD patients and the contr.l gr.ups. However. ther. wer. notable differ.nces in LPC levels and sPLA2 activity between subgr.ups of CD patients and IDCM patients. This study is the fir.t to identify LPC in patients with CD acr.ss var.ous stages of the disease. It also offer. new insights into the biochemical changes obser.ed in the plasma of patients with IDCM.

BACKGr.UND Par.coccidioidomycosis(PCM)may involve the hepatic pedicle and per.pan cr.atic lymph nodes,cause damage to the bile duct and manifest,exceptionally,in combination with extr.hepatic cholestasis(EHC),making investigation and tr.atment *** To investigate the management of patients with viscer.l PCM admitted with *** All patients diagnosed with PCM tr.ated in a public,ter.iar. teaching hospital between 1982 and 2020 wer. r.tr.spectively *** also identified with EHC wer. allocated to two gr.ups accor.ing to the tr.atment appr.ach for.the pur.ose of compar.ng clinical,labor.tor.,and imaging findings,r.sour.es used for.etiological diagnosis,tr.atment r.sults,and *** analyses wer. per.or.ed using the linear.mixed-effects model(r.ndom and fixed effects),which was adjusted using the Pr.C MIXED pr.cedur. of the SAS®9.0 softwar.,and Fisher.s exact *** Of 1645 patients diagnosed with PCM,40(2.4%)had *** these,20(50.0%)lived in the r.r.l ar.a and 29(72.5%)wer. men,with a mean age of 27.1 year.(3-65 year.).Jaundice as fir.t symptom and weight loss of at least 10 kg wer. obser.ed in 16 patients(40.0%),and a mass in the head of the pancr.as was obser.ed in 8(20.0%).The etiological diagnosis was made by tissue collection dur.ng sur.er. in 4 cases(10.0%)and by endoscopic methods in 3 cases(7.5%).Twenty-seven patients(67.5%)r.ceived dr.g tr.atment alone(Gr.up 1),wher.as 13(32.5%)under.ent endoscopic and/or.sur.ical pr.cedur.s in combination with dr.g tr.atment(Gr.up 2).EHC was significantly r.duced in both gr.ups(40.7% in Gr.up 1,with a mean time of 3 months;and 38.4% in Gr.up 2,with a mean time of 7.5 months),with no statistically significant differ.nce between *** r.cur.ence r.tes,associated mainly with tr.atment nonadher.nce,wer. similar.in both gr.ups:37% in Gr.up 1 and 15.4% in Gr.up *** mor.ality r.te was 18.5% in Gr.up 1 and 23% in Gr.up 2,with sur.ival estimates of 71.3% and 72.5%,r.spectively,with

Although it is r.cognized that the post-har.est system is most r.sponsible for.the loss of soybean quality,the r.al impact of this loss is still *** r.gulation allows 15%and 30%of br.ken soybean for.gr.up I and gr.up II(quality gr.ups),***,the industr. is not infor.ed about the loss in the quality par.meter. of soybeans and its impacts dur.ng long-ter. ***,the objective was to evaluate the effect of the br.akage ker.el per.entage of soybean stor.d for.12 *** of 15% of br.akage ker.els did not affect soybean ***,content of 30% of br.akage ker.els affected significantly soybean quality,which was evidenced by the incr.ase of up to 75% in moldy soybeans,72% in acidity,50% in leached solids,27% in electr.cal conductivity,and the decr.ase of up to 12% in soluble pr.tein,6.4% in ger.ination and 3.5% in thousand ker.el weight after.8 months of *** the legislation establishes a per.entage limit,it is r.commended to stor. soybeans with up to 15% br.akage *** the contr.r.,values higher.than that can cause a significant r.duction in soybean quality,r.sulting in commer.ial losses.
