This paper presents the study of the dynamic characteristics of confined mixed pebble beds with different friction under different vibration conditions using the discrete element ***λsegre-gation index is used to quantify the degree of particle mixing or *** percolation,convection and diffusion mechanisms are responsible for the segregation patterns of the mixed *** results show the degree of segregation can be suppressed by decreasing the vibration acceleration or free space height below a *** simulation reveals the threshold of vibration acceleration or free space height both are related to the bed height increment which determines the strength of the percolation *** addition,the strength of percolation and convection becomes weaker by decreasing the friction of particles and walls,which makes the pebbled bed remains in a mixed state under *** findings are significant to clarify the main factors behind the three segregation mechanisms and hence provide solutions to retaining the mixed state of the Li2TiO3&Be12Ti mixed pebble bed.

Traditional proportional-integral-derivative(PID)controllers have achieved widespread success in industrial ***,the nonlinearity and uncertainty of practical systems cannot be ignored,even though most of the existing research on PID controllers is focused on linear ***,developing a PID controller with learning ability is of great significance for complex nonlinear *** article proposes a deterministic learning-based advanced PID controller for robot manipulator systems with *** introduction of neural networks(NNs)overcomes the upper limit of the traditional PID feedback mechanism’s *** proposed control scheme not only guarantees system stability and tracking error convergence but also provides a simple way to choose the three parameters of PID by setting the proportional *** the partial persistent excitation(PE)condition,the closed-loop system unknown dynamics of robot manipulator systems are accurately approximated by *** on the acquired knowledge from the stable control process,a learning PID controller is developed to further improve overall control performance,while overcoming the problem of repeated online weight *** studies and physical experiments demonstrate the validity and practicality of the proposed strategy discussed in this article.

Spinel-type cathodes are considered an optimal substitute for conventional layered oxide cathodes owing to their use of inexpensive and earth-abundant manganese as the redox-active ***,the introduction of cation disorder can effectively suppress the detrimental two-phase reaction to realize high capacities in a wide voltage ***,the continuous capacity decay during cycles has hindered the widespread application of these cathode *** fluorides exhibit excellent electrochemical stability at high voltage;therefore,in this study,the direct F2 gas reaction with a partially disordered spinel cathode(Li_(1.6)Mn_(1.6)O_(3.7)F_(0.3,)LMOF1.6)was initially applied to investigate the impacts of fluorination on the surface structure and electrochemical *** inorganic fluorinated layer,mainly containing LiF,was distributed uniformly on the surface of LMOF1.6nanoparticles after fluorination for an appropriate time without the turbulence caused by the valency of manganese cation,which improved the capacity retention and rate capability by the suppression of structural damage,parasitic reaction,and cation *** LMOF1.6cathode fluorinated for 0.5 h exhibited a capacity of283.6 mAh·g^(-1)at 50 mA·g^(-1)and an enhanced capacity retention of 29.6%after 50 cycles in the voltage range of1.5-4.8 V,as compared to the pristine LMOF1.6 with only27.9%capacity retention.

The co-combustion of low-rank coals through fluidized bed boiler(CFB)is an effective approach to enhance the level of resource *** date,there has been a lack of investigation concerning the co-combustion kinetics and self-desulfurization characteristics of coal slime,coal gangue,and raw *** this study,we adopted multiple model-free and model-fitting methods to comparatively analyze co-combustion kinetics of blended coals on the basis of thermogravimetric ***,the sulfur balance and self-desulfurization of blended coals in the co-combustion were intensively investigated using a tube furnace *** results reveal that in the presence of coal gangue in blended coals,the average activation energy(E_(a))falls within the range of 65.7 kJ/mol to 100.4 kJ/mol,as determined by four model-free ***,in the absence of coal gangue,only the Flynn-Wall-Ozawa(FWO)and Friedman(FM)methods are deemed appropriate for calculating the average E_(a),yielding a value of 77.3 kJ/*** first order reaction model is confirmed to be reliable for analyzing the co-combustion kinetics of low-rank blended *** of the specific composition of the blended coal,a significant linear correlation exists between the Ea and the natural logarithm of the pre-exponential factor(lnA)within an extensive range of ***,the addition of coal gangue to the blended coal substantially enhances the self-desulfurization level,resulting in an increase from 25.7%to60.7%at 1073 *** self-desulfurization efficiency exhibits a good linear relationship with both the mass ratio of coal gangue to coal slime and the molar ratio of calcium to *** a practical implementation,the optimal addition ratio of coal gangue is a trade-off between the self-desulfurization efficiency and the ignition capacity.

High density and safe storage of hydrogen are the preconditions for the large-scale application of hydrogen ***,the hydrogen storage properties of Ti_(0.6)Zr_(0.4)Cr_(0.6)Mn_(1.4) alloys are systematically studied by introducing Y element instead of Ti element through vacuum arc *** the partial substitution of Y,a second phase of rare earth oxide is added in addition to the main suction hydrogen phase,C14 Laves *** to the unique properties of rare earth elements,the partial substitution of Y can not only improve the activation properties and plateau pressure of the alloys,but also increase the effective hydrogen storage capacity of the *** comprehensive properties of hydrogen storage alloys are improved by multidimensional regulation of rare earth *** them,Ti_(0.552)Y_(0.048)Zr_(0.4)Cr_(0.6)Mn_(1.4) has the best comprehensive *** alloy can absorb hydrogen without activation at room temperature and 5 MPa,with a maximum hydrogen storage capacity of 1.98 wt.%.At the same time,it reduces the stability of the hydride and the enthalpy change value,making it easier to release *** theoretical analysis and first-principle simulation,the results show that the substitution of Y element reduces the migration energy barrier of hydrogen and the structural stability of the system,which is conducive to hydrogen *** alloy has superior durability compared to the original alloy,and the capacity retention rate was 96.79%after 100 hydrogen absorption/desorption cycles.

This study,grounded in Waxman fusion method,introduces an algorithm for the fusion of visible and infrared images,tailored to a two-level lighting environment,inspired by the mathematical model of the visual receptive field of rattlesnakes and the two-mode cells'*** research presented here is segmented into three *** the first segment,we design a preprocessing module to judge the ambient light intensity and divide the lighting environment into two levels:day and *** second segment proposes two distinct network structures designed specifically for these daytime and nighttime *** the daytime images,where visible light information is predominant,we feed the ON-VIS signal and the IR-enhanced visual signal into the central excitation and surrounding suppression regions of the ON-center receptive field in the B channel,***,for nighttime images where infrared information takes precedence,the ON-IR signal and the Visual-enhanced IR signal are separately input into the central excitation and surrounding suppression regions of the ON-center receptive field in the B *** outcome is a pseudo-color fused *** third segment employs five different no-reference image quality assessment methods to evaluate the quality of thirteen sets of pseudo-color images produced by fusing infrared and visible *** images are then compared with those obtained by six other methods cited in the relevant *** empirical results indicate that this study's outcomes surpass the comparative results in terms of average gradient and spatial *** one or two sets of fused images underperformed in terms of standard deviation and entropy when compared to the control *** sets of fused images did not perform as well as the comparison in the QAB/F *** conclusion,the fused images generated through the proposed method show superior performance in terms of scene detail,visual perception,and image sharpness
