Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is the leading cause of anovulatory *** understanding of the ovulation drivers hinders PCOS ***,we report that follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)controls follicular fluid(FF)glutamine levels to determine *** ovulation starts from FF-exposing granulosa cell(GC)*** glutamine,which decreases in pre-ovulation porcine FF,elevates in PCOS patients ***-glutamine chow to elevate FF glutamine inhibits mouse GC apoptosis and induces hormonal,metabolic,and morphologic PCOS ***,follicle-development-driving FSH promotes GC glutamine synthesis to elevate FF glutamine,which maintain follicle wall integrity by inhibiting GC apoptosis through inactivating ASK1-JNK apoptotic *** and glutamine inhibit the rapture of cultured murine *** removal or ASK1-JNK pathway activation with metformin or AT-101 reversed PCOS traits in PCOS models that are induced with either glutamine or *** suggest that glutamine,FSH,and ASK1-JNK pathway are targetable to alleviate PCOS.

Reshaping force for deformed casing repairing with hydraulic rolling reshaper and its influencing factors

Hydraulic rolling reshaper is an advanced reshaping tool to solve the problem of casing deformation,which has been widely used in recent years. When it is used for well repair operation, the reshaping force provided by ground devices is generally determined by experience. However, too large reshaping force may destroy the deformed casing, and too small reshaping force may also prolong the construction period and affect the repairing effect. In this paper, based on Hertz contact theory and elastic-plastic theory, combined with the process parameters of shaping, and considering the structural characteristics of the deformed casing and reshaper, we propose a mathematical model for calculating the reshaping force required for repairing deformed casing by hydraulic rolling reshaper. Meanwhile, the finite element model and numerical method of hydraulic rolling reshaper repairing deformed casing are established by using the finite element method, and the reliability of the mathematical model is verified by several examples. On this basis, the control variable method is used to investigate the influence of each parameter on the reshaping force, and the influence degree of each parameter is explored by orthogonal simulation test and Pearson correlation analysis. The research results not only provide an important theoretical basis for the prediction of reshaping force in on-site construction, but also provide a reference for the subsequent improvement of the shaping process.

The technological revolution has spawned a new generation of industrial systems,but it has also put forward higher requirements for safety management accuracy,timeliness,and *** assessment needs to evolve to address the existing and future challenges by considering the new demands and advancements in safety *** study aims to propose a systematic and comprehensive risk assessment method to meet the needs of process system safety *** methodology first incorporates possibility,severity,and dynamicity(PSD)to structure the“51X”evaluation indicator system,including the inherent,management,and disturbance risk ***,the four-tier(risk point-unit-enterprise-region)risk assessment(RA)mathematical model has been established to consider supervision *** in conclusion,the application of the PSD-RA method in ammonia refrigeration workshop cases and safety risk monitoring systems is presented to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed PSD-RA method in safety *** findings show that the PSD-RA method can be well integrated with the needs of safety work informatization,which is also helpful for implementing the enterprise's safety work responsibility and the government's safety supervision responsibility.

Natural fractures are critical for shale oil and gas enrichment and development. Due to the extremely high heterogeneity of shale, the factors controlling the formation of internal fractures, especially horizontal fractures, remain controversial. In this study, we integrate thin section analysis and microcomputed tomography(CT) data from several lacustrine shale samples from the third member(Es3) of the Shahejie Formation, Qikou Sag, Bohai Bay Basin, to assess the fractures in detail. The goal is to reveal the development characteristics, controlling factors, and geological significance for evaluating sweet spots in a shale oil play. The fractures in the Es3contain high-angle structural and horizontal bed-parallel fractures that are mostly shear and extensional. Various factors influence fracture development,including lithofacies, mineral composition, organic matter content, and the number of laminae. Structural fractures occur predominantly in siltstone, whereas bed-parallel fractures are abundant in laminated shale and layered mudstone. A higher quartz content results in higher shale brittleness, causing fractures, whereas the transformation between clay minerals contributes to the development of bedparallel fractures. Excess pore pressure due to hydrocarbon generation and expulsion during thermal advance can cause the formation of bed-parallel fractures. The density of the bed-parallel and structural fractures increases with the lamina density, and the bed-parallel fractures are more sensitive to the number of laminae. The fractures are critical storage spaces and flow conduits and are indicative of sweet spots. The laminated shale in the Es3with a high organic matter content contains natural fractures and is an organic-rich, liquid-rich, self-sourced shale play. Conversely, the siltstone, massive mudstone, and argillaceous carbonate lithofacies contain lower amounts of organic matter and do not have bed-parallel fractures. Objective:To assess the clinical outcomes of fertility-sparing treatments in young patients with epithelial ovarian carcinoma (EOC).Methods:A retrospective study of young EOC inpatients (≤40 years old) was performed during January 1994 and December 2010 in eight ***:Data were analyzed from 94 patients treated with fertility-sparing surgery with a median follow-up time of 58.7 *** histologic grade increased,overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) of patients receiving fertility-sparing surgery *** staging surgery nor laparoscopy of early stage EOC with conservative surgery had a significant effect on OS or *** menstruation recommenced after chemotherapy in 89% of the fertility-sparing *** pregnancies among twelve patients were achieved by the end of the ***:Fertility-sparing treatment for patients with EOC Stage I Grade 1 could be cautiously considered for young *** surgical procedure and surgical route might not significantly influence the *** chemotherapy is not likely to have an evident impact on ovarian function or fertility in young patients.

Effect of alumina occurrence form on metallurgical properties of hematite and magnetite pellets

The effect of alumina occurrence form on the metallurgical properties of both hematite and magnetite pellets was investigated at the same Al_(2)O level of 2 wt.%,including reduction index(RI),low-temperature reduction disintegration index(RDI),reduction swelling index(RSI),and high-temperature softening-dripping *** mineralogy of fired pellets was also studied to reveal the influence of alumina occurrence form on the phase composition and *** the results,the alumina occurrence form presents tremendous impacts on the metallurgical perfor-mance of both magnetite and hematite *** of all alumina occurrence forms contributes to inferior reducibility of pellets,especially in the case of gibbsite for magnetite pellets with a RI of 58.4%and kaolinite for hematite pellets with a RI of 56.8%.However,addition of all alumina occurrence forms improves the RDI of magnetite pellets,while there is no significant difference among various alumina occurrence *** contrast,alumina occurrence forms have little influence on the RDI of hematite *** presence of free alumina,gibbsite,and kaolinite tends to improve the RSI of hematite and magnetite pellets,whereas hercynite gives the opposite trend with a RSI of 25.6%.For softening-dripping performance of magnetite pellets,all alumina occurrence forms contribute to narrower softening-melting ***,alumina,gibbsite,and kaolinite give narrower softening-dripping interval,at 229,217,and 88℃,respectively,whereas addition of hercynite results in the largest melting range at 276℃ due to its high melting *** hematite pellets,free alumina,gibbsite,and hercynite tend to enlarge melting range,whereas kaolinite contributes to lower dripping temperature of 1148℃ and narrow softening-dripping interval of 88℃ due to the formation of a greater amount of slag phase at high temperatures.
