The effects of L-phenylalanine （L-Phe） on the synthesis ofpoly（N,N＇-methylenebisacrylamide-co-4-vinylpyridine）（poly（Bis-co-4-VP））（micro）gels by γ-ray irradiation were studied. The addition of L-Phe could not only decrease the gelation dose （Dg） of the synthesis obviously, but also transform the morphology of copolymer from microgel to gel. In addition, the swelling ability of the （micro）gels was also affected in the presence of L-Phe. The decrease of Dg was ascribed to the effect of pH, while the transformation of the morphology was ascribed to the effect of L-Phe on the stability of the poly（Bis-co-4-VP） microgel. Such an effect was confirmed further as compared with the effects of L-alanine, L-glutamic acid, L-arginine, sulfuric acid and aqueous ammonia.

Morphology of zinc alloy layer,from zincate solution with zinc sulfate and zinc oxide respectively,together with the consequent deposit was observed with SEM and back scattering electron *** was applied to analyze the components of zinc alloy layer and the interface of high-Si aluminum alloy substrate-zinc ***,the surface morphology of the zincated aluminum alloy after immersing in 3.5% NaCl solution for 7 d,is observed and the corrosion rate was ***,tension test is conducted to quantify the adhesion between high-Si aluminum cast substrate and the *** results show that,the zinc oxide contained zincating solution with sodium potassium tartrate and sodium citrate is a better one in multi-metal zincating *** zinc alloy layer from this one gets stable performance,perfect adhesion with deposit,and good corrosion resistance.

The preparation and electrocatalytic activity of polyaniline-poly （ propylene oxide ）（ PAN-PPO ） modified by Pt particles （ Pt/ PAN-PPO ） were investigated. Pt/ PAN-PPO was characterized by scanning electron microscopy （SEM） and energy dispersive spectroscopy （ EDS ）. Pt particles on PAN-PPO were in the nanometer range, and dispersed in a three-dimensional distribution on the surface of PAN-PPO film. Compared with polyaniline and glassy carbon modified with Pt particles under the same conditions, Pt/PAN-PPO exhibited a high electrocatalytic activity for lysine oxidation.

Copper (Ⅰ) nitride nanorods grown in channels of mesoporous silica SBA-15 by chemical vapor deposition method has been synthesized. The morphology and microstructure of the resulting product were characterized by XRD patters, TEM images, EDS analysis and Raman spectra. The XRD and TEM revealed that the Cu3N phase was confined in channels of SBA-15 forming continuous nanowires with 6 nm around and hundreds of nanometers in length. Raman spectra of the final product and pure Cu3N showed peaks shift due to the quantum confinement effect of the nanowires. This preparation methodology only requires a mild working condition and is capable of template synthesis of other binary nitride nanostructures with controlled morphology inside the channels of mesoporous materials.

Nine isomers, twenty transition states, and some relative dissociation fragments of [C,N,N,P] system were located at the B3LYP/6-311G(d) and QCISD(t)/6-311+G(2.f) (single-point) levels of theory, and the isomerization, structures, and stability of these obtained isomers were suggested. The results indicate that four nonlinear chainlike isomers NCNP, NCPN, CNPN, and CNNP with 2.′ electronic state are kinetically stable. Other isomers are kinetically unstable to-wards isomerization or dissociation because of the corresponding smaller reaction barriers. Furthermore, calculated vibrational frequencies, rotational constants, dipole moments, the first adiabatic ionization energies, and adiabatic electron affinities of the four isomers may provide some theoretical information that is helpful for identifying their existence in future laboratory and interstellar investigations. The results are also compared with [Si,N,N,P] system.

This paper reports the reactions of a monomeric aluminum dihydride LAlH2.L = HC[C(Me)N(Ar)]2.Ar = 2.6-i-Pr2.6H3) with diazo,azido,and terminal alkyne *** reaction of LAlH2.with N2.H(SiMe3) and N3(1-Ad) occurred through an Al-H addition to end-on nitrogen to yield respective compounds LAl[N(H)N = CH(SiMe3)]2.1) and LAl[N(H)N=N(1-Ad)]2.2.,while the reaction of LAlH2.with PhC≡CH occurred through a stepwise deprotonation to yield LAlH(C≡CPh)(5) and LAl-(C≡CPh)2.6),respectively.2.further reacted by N2.release to yield LAl[NH(1-Ad)][N(H)N=N(1-Ad)](3) and LAl[NH-(1-Ad)]2.4) upon the increased temperature *** 1-6 have been fully characterized,revealing novel reactivity patterns of LAlH2.toward different substrates under the steric influence from the bulky L ligand at Al.

It is usually very difficult to directly obtain molecular dissociation energy De and all accurate high-lying vibrational energies for most diatomic electronic states using modern experimental techniques or quantum theories, and it is also very difficult to give accurate analytical expression for diatomic molecular dissociation energy. This study proposes a new analytical formula for obtaining accurate molecular dissociation energy based on the LeRoy and Bernstein’s energy expression in dissociation limit. A set of full vibrational energy spectra for some electronic states of N2.molecule are studied using the algebraic method (AM) suggested recently, and the corresponding accurate molecular dissociation energies are evaluated using the proposed new formula and high-lying AM vibrational energies. The results show that the AM spectra and the new theoretical dissociation energies agree excellently with experimental data, and thereby providing a new physical approach to generating accurate dissociation energies for electronic states of diatomic molecules.

The effects of adding cosolvents of diglyme and 15-crown-5 to the reaction mixture of Wurtz-type coupling of dichlorosilanes on the yield and relative molecular mass dispersity of polymethylphenethylsilane(PMPES) were discussed. The results show that addition of 10%(volume ratio of diglyme to toluene) diglyme as a cosolvent to the reaction mixture leads to the yield increase of PMPES with a monomodal distribution of relative molecular masses. Adding 10%diglyme to the reaction mixtures, the yields of polymethylcyclohexylsilane(PMCS) and copolymers (polymethylphenethylsilane-co-methylcyclohexylsilane), (the molar ratios of methylphenethyldichlorosilane to methylcyclohexyldichlorosilane were 2.0, 1.0 and 0.5, and the copolymers were abbreviated by Copolymers I, II, III, respectively) are 47%, 52., 54%, 53%, respectively. Their relative molecular masses ([`(M)]w )(\bar M_w ) almost reach 105. These polysilanes were characterized by 1H-NMR, IR and UV absorption spectrum.

Electropolymerization of aniline in KOH solution and properties of the polymer were studied by in situ reflex ellipsometry, cyclic voltammetry and fluorescence spectroscopic method. The process of electropolymerization of aniline was different in alkaline and in acidic aqueous media. The complex refractive indices and the fluorescence spectra indicated that the polyaniline was a sort of luminous material.
