Hydrocarbon indication in Rio bonito Formation sandstone:Implication for co_(2)storage in São Paulo,Brazil

São Paulo State has witnessed co_(2)storage-based investigations considering the availability of suitable geologic structures and proximity to primary co_(2)source sinks related to bioenergy and carbon capture and storage(BEccS)*** current study presents the hydrocarbon viability evaluations and co_(2)storage prospects,focusing on the sandstone units of the Rio bonito *** objective is to apply petrophysical evaluations with geochemical inputs in predicting future hydrocarbon(gas)production to boost co_(2)storage within the study *** study used data from eleven wells with associated wireline logs(gamma ray,resistivity,density,neutron,and sonic)to predict potential hydrocarbon accumulation and fluid mobility in the investigated *** samples(shale and carbonate)obtained from depths>200 m within the study location have shown bitumen *** geochemistry data of the Rio bonito Formation shale beds suggest they are potential hydrocarbon source rocks and could have contributed to the gas accumulations within the sandstone *** drilled well data,e.g.,cB-1-SP and TI-1-SP,show hydrocarbon(gas)presence based on the typical resistivity and the combined neutron-density responses at depths up to 3400 m,indicating the possibility of other hydrocarbon members apart from the heavy oil(bitumen)observed from the near-surface rocks *** the three-dimensional(3-D)model,the free fluid indicator(FFI)is more significant towards the southwest and southeast of the area with deeper depths of occurrence,indicating portions with reasonable hydrocarbon recovery rates and good prospects for co_(2)injection,circulation and permanent ***,future studies based on contemporary datasets are required to establish the hydrocarbon viability further,foster gas production events,and enhance co_(2)storage possibilities within the region.

The kinetics of criegee intermediates are important for atmospheric ***,the quantitative kinetics of criegee intermediates are still very limited,especially for those with hydroxy ***,we calculate rate constants for the unimolecular reaction of E-glycolaldehyde oxide[E-hydroxyethanal oxide,E-(cH_(2)oH)cHoo],for its reactions with H_(2)o and(H_(2)o)_(2),and for the reaction of the E-(cH_(2)oH)cHoo…H_(2)o complex with H_(2)*** the highest level of electronic structure,we use W3X-L//ccSD(T)-F12a/cc-pVDZ-F12 for the unimolecular reaction and the reaction with water and W3X-L//DF-ccSD(T)-F12b/jun-cc-pVDZ for the reaction with 2 water *** the dynamics,we use a dual-level strategy that combines conventional transition state theory with the highest level of electronic structure and multistructural canonical variational transition state theory with small-curvature tunneling with a validated density functional for the electronic structure.

co_(2)capture by modifed clinoptilolite and its regeneration performance

This study focuses on co_(2) capture by pressure swing adsorption(PSA),with modified clinoptilolite as the *** clinoptilolite is modified by roasting,by acid pickling,by a combination of acid pickling and roasting,and by ion *** by acid pickling-roasting and by ion exchange are found to give the highest co_(2) adsorption capacities,of 730 mL/g and 876.7 mL/g,*** is found that regeneration of clinoptilolite by a combination of vacuum desorption and heating enables recovery of as much as 89%of its previous co_(2) adsorption *** examine the co_(2) adsorption capacity of clinoptilolite when applied to mixed gas,a simulated coking exhaust containing 12%co_(2) and 4%o_(2) is used,and it is found that ion exchange modified clinoptilolite achieves a co_(2) removal efficiency of 92.5%.A BET test reveals that acid pickling-roasting and Na^(+) modification enhance the porosity of clinoptilolite,thereby improving its adsorption *** work demonstrates the feasibility of applying modified clinoptilolite as an effective adsorbent for coo_(2)capture,providing a promising tool for dealing with greenhouse gases.

A trigger system is typically employed in active seismic testing to trigger and synchronize multichannel surface wave data *** effect of the trigger system on the dispersion image of surface waves is empirically known to be negligible,however,theoretical explanation regarding the effect of the trigger system is *** study systematically examines the theory for surface wave dispersion analysis and proves that the effect of the trigger system on a dispersion image is negligible via a solid theoretical ***,based on the new theoretical explanation,an alternative method that uses only the relative phase difference between sensors to extract dispersion characteristics with better conceptual clarity is *** active surface wave testing cases are considered to validate the theory and *** results indicate that(1)an accurate trigger system is not necessary for surface wave data acquisition,and(2)it is unnecessary to assume that the impact point is the generation point of the surface waves for the experimental dispersion analysis.

Data on discrete,isolated attributes of the marine economy are often used in traditional marine economic ***,as the focus of urban research shifts from internal static attributes to external dynamic linkages,the importance of marine economic net-work research is beginning to *** construction of the marine economic network in china’s coastal areas is necessary to change the flow of land and sea resources and optimize regional marine economic *** data from headquarters and branches of sea-related A-share listed enterprises to construct the marine economic network in china,we use social network analysis(SNA)to discuss the characteristics of its evolution as of 2010,2015,and 2020 and its *** following results were obtained.1)In terms of topological characteristics,the scale of the marine economic network in china’s coastal areas has accelerated and expan-ded,and the connections have become increasingly close;thus,this development has complex network characteristics.2)In terms of spatial structure,the intensity of the connection fluctuates and does not form stable development support;the group structure gradually becomes clear,but the overall pattern is fragmented;there are spatial differences in marine economic agglomeration radiation;the radi-ation effect of the eastern marine economic circle is obvious;and the polarization effect of northern and southern marine economic circles is *** this basis,we construct a framework for the governance of a marine economic network with the market,the government,and industry as the three governing *** clarifying the driving factors and building objectives of marine economic network construction,this study aims to foster the high-quality development of china’s marine economy.

Simple preparation of c(cS)/g-c_(3)N_(4)/co carbon aerogel and its catalytic performance for ammonium perchlorate

Biomass chitosan(cS)was used as a template,graphitic phase carbon nitride(g-c_(3)N_(4))with high nitrogen content and certain catalytic activity was used as a dopant,and nano-transition metal cobalt(co)was used as a catalytic center *** carbon aerogel(c(cS)/g-c_(3)N_(4)/co)with a three-dimensional network-like structure was prepared by assembling the three materials through experimental operations such as freeze-drying and high-temperature *** was demonstrated by scanning and transmission characterization that the cS in the carbon aerogel could provide more active sites for the cobalt nanoparticles,and the doping of graphite-phase carbon nitride as a template dispersed the cobalt nanoparticles and changed the conductivity of the *** investigate the catalytic effect of carbon aerogel on ammonium perchlorate(AP),it was investigated by differential thermal analyzer and Tg thermal *** carbon aerogel was very effective in catalyzing AP,and the 10 wt% content of the catalyst reduced the AP pyrolysis peak from 703.9 to 595.5 *** to further investigate the synergistic effect of the three materials,further carbon aerogels such as c(cS)/co,g-c_(3)N_(4)/co were prepared and applied to catalyze AP,and the same ratio reduced the AP pyrolysis peak by 98.1℃ and 97.7℃.This result indicates a synergistic effect of the assembly of the three materials.

Access to High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylenes through High Temperature Ethylene Polymerization catalysed by Ethylene-Bridged ansa-(3-R-cyclopentadienyl)(Fluorenyl) Zirconocene complexes

A series of c1-symmetric ethylene-bridged ansa-(3-R-cyclopentadienyl)(fluorenyl) metallocene complexes(Zr: 1-5;Hf: 6) have been synthesized, characterized and investigated as catalyst precursors for the high temperature ethylene polymerization. Using methylaluminoxane(MAo) as the cocatalyst, zirconium complexes 1-5 bearing a bulky substituent on the 3-position of the cyclopendienyl ring showed high catalytic activities up to 1.48×10^(7) g PE·mol_(Zr)^(-1)·h^(-1) toward the polymerization of ethylene and afforded polyethylenes with high molecular weights(1.49×10^(5)-6.31×10^(5) g/mol), meanwhile exhibting great thermal stability at high temperatures up to 120 ℃ together with a long catalytic life time up to 2 h. By adopting low Al/Zr ratios, such as 125, polyethylenes with ultra high molecular weights up to 2.86×106 g/mol were obtained. It is worthy of noting that zirconium complexes 1-4 bearing a substituent with an aryl pendant showed temperature-dependent activities, which increased rapidly with the increase of polymerization temperature, thus weak interaction of the pendent aryl group with the cationic active center is proposed to account for the very low activities displayed at low temperatures. In contrast to zirconocene complexes 1-5, hafnocene complex 6 only displayed very low catalytic activities toward the polymerization of ethylene and afforded polyethylenes with molecular weights ten times smaller than those obtained by zirconocene complexes 1-5. Zirconocene complexes 1-5 were also able to catalyse the polymerization of propylene at high temperatures, but only afforded waxes with low molecular weights.
