Phase transformation is one of the essential topics in the studies on high entropy alloys(HEAs).However,characterization of the nucleation behavior in the phase transformation for HEAs is still challenging through experimental *** the present work,HfNbTaTiZr HEA was chosen as the representative material,and molecular dynamics/Monte Carlo(MD/MC)simulations were performed to investigate the nucleation behavior in temperature-induced BCC-to-HCP transformation for this HEA *** results indicate that Nb–Ta,Ti–Zr,Hf–Zr and Hf–Ti atom pairs are preferred in the BCC solid solution of HfNbTaTiZr HEA and Hf–Ti–Zr-rich atom cluster with chemical short range order acts as the nucleation site for HCP *** nucleation process follows the non-classical two-step nucleation model:BCC-like structure with severe lattice distortion forms first and then HCP structure nucleates from the BCC-like ***,at low temperature,the BCC-to-HCP nucleation hardly occurs,and the BCC solid solution is *** present work provides more atomic details of the nucleation behavior in temperature-induced BCC-to-HCP phase transformation for HEA,and can help in deep understanding of the phase stability for HEAs.

Four fractions(A,B,C,and D)of humic acids(HAs)were separated based on the polarity from weak to ***-vis absorption and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)analysis show that the fractions C and Dpossessedmore aromatic C5C *** influences of HAs and their fractions on the photolysis were investigated by the photodegradation of 2,4-D solutions under simulated solar light *** degradation rate of 2,4-D was found to decrease in the presence of bulk HAs or their fractions especially at high HAs *** fractions of strong polarity C and D retarded the degradation rate more than the fractions of weak polarity A and *** could be attributed to the different absorption intensity of the four HAs fractions in the order of D≥C>A>B,and the stronger π-π electron donor-acceptor interactions between the strong polar fractions and 2,4-D.

Commercial Production of Tiger Puffer(Takifugu rubripes)in Winter Using a Recirculating Aquaculture System

Tiger puffer(Takifugu rubripes) is a promising species for aquaculture production because of its high value and limited supply. However, in the north of China, using sea cages to culture this species in winter is hampered by the fact that the seawater temperature is extremely low. Here, a large scale commercial production of tiger puffer has been successfully realized using a recirculating aquaculture system(RAS) from 3 October 2012 to 31 May 2013. The RAS was comprised of nine culture tanks(total water volume 200 m3) and stocked with approximately a total of 14400 fish(initial mean weight 160 g). The tiger puffer was hand-fed at a rate of 0.7% of total body weight per day, and the feed conversion rate was(1.21 ± 0.3) kg kg-1. The recycle water in RAS was treated by a sieve bend screen, a foam fractionator, a submerged biofilter, an UV sterilizer and a submersible aerator. During the whole culture period, an excellent water quality control was achieved in RAS. At the end of this experiment, the survival rate of tiger puffer was more than 98%. The final tank densities averaged 31.2 kg m-3, and the final individual mean weight was 440 g.

Photodegradation of 2,4-D induced by NO_2^- in aqueous solutions: The role of NO_2

To elucidate the effect of nitrite ion （NO2^-） on the photodegradation of organic pollutants, a 300 W mercury lamp and Pyrex tubes restricting the transmission of wavelengths below 290nm were used to simulate sunlight, and the photodegradation processes of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid （2,4-D） with different concentrations of NO2^- in freshwater and seawater were studied. The effect of reactive oxygen species （ROS） on the photolysis of 2,4-D was also demonstrated using electron paramagnetic resonance （EPR）. The results indicated that the 2,4-D photolysis reaction followed the first-order kinetics in freshwater and seawater under different concentrations of NO2^-. Meanwhile, the photochemical reaction rate of 2,4-D increased with increasing concentration of NO2^-. When the concentration of NO2^- was lower than 23 mg/L, the photodegradation rate of 2,4-D in seawater was higher than that in freshwater. However, when the concentration of NO2^- was reached 230 mg/L, 2,4-D degradation slowed down in seawater. It was important to note that EPR spectra showed NO2 radical was generated in the NO5 solution under simulated sunlight irradiation, indicating that 2,4-D photodegradation could be induced by NO2. These results show the key role of NO2^- in photochemistry and are helpful for better understanding of the phototransformation of environmental contaminants in natural aquatic systems.

Fe83（Cox,Niy）（B11Si2P3C1）1-x,y/17（x,y=1–3）amorphous alloys with high saturation magnetic flux density（Bs）and excellent soft-magnetic properties were developed and then the microalloying and clustering effects were *** microalloying of Co and Ni improves the Bsfrom 1.65 T to 1.67–1.72 T and 1.66–1.68 T,*** Ni-doped alloys exhibit better soft-magnetic properties,containing a low coercivity（Hc） of about 5.0 A/m and a high Effective permeability（μe）of（8–10）×10^3,whereas the microalloying of Co leads to a deteriorative Hc of 5.0–13.0 A/m and a μeof（5–8）×10^***,microalloying of Ni can increase the ductile-brittle transition（DBT）temperature of the ribbons,while a totally opposite effect is found in the Co-doped *** formation of dense α-Fe（Co,Ni）clusters during annealing process is used to explain the distinct effects of Co and Ni microalloying on the magnetic properties and bending toughness.

Near-infrared(NIR)chiroptical response has been less explored because it is chal-lenging to achieve both chirality and NIR absorption/***,we describe the design of heterohelicene-typeβ-isoindigo-based boron-dipyrromethene(BOD-IPY)analogs(β-IBs),which shift the absorption peak to 800 nm and produce signiﬁcant Cotton effects(127.8 M-1 cm-1)and absorbance dissymmetry factors(|gabs|3.5=×10-3).The luminescence dissymmetry factor(glum)and circu-larly polarized luminescence(CPL)brightness(BCPL)of up to 1.24×10-3 and 1.78 M-1 cm-1 were realized beyond 800 ***β-IBs are theﬁrst examples of helicene-type compounds with the highest gabs in the NIR region and CPL beyond 800 *** calculations demonstrate that the strong chiroptical activities are triggered by their large transition magnetic dipole *** study not only provides a new approach to the synthesis of a larger variety of unprecedented helicene-type BODIPY analogs but also demonstrates excellent NIR chiroptical properties.

Grapes,one of the oldest tree species globally,are rich in ***,environmental conditions such as low temperature and soil salinization signiﬁcantly affect grape yield and *** glutamate receptor(GLR)family,comprising highly conserved ligand-gated ion channels,regulates plant growth and development in response to *** this study,11 members of the VvGLR gene family in grapes were identiﬁed using whole-genome sequence *** methods were employed to analyze the basic physical and chemical properties,phylogenetic trees,conserved domains,motifs,expression patterns,and evolutionary *** and collinear analyses revealed that the VvGLRs were divided into three subgroups,showing the high conservation of the grape GLR *** members exhibited 2 glutamate receptor binding regions(GABAb and GluR)and 3-4 transmembrane regions(M1,M2,M3,and M4).Real-time quantitative PCR analysis demonstrated the sensitivity of all VvGLRs to low temperature and salt *** localization studies in Nicotiana tabacum veriﬁed that VvGLR3.1 and VvGLR3.2 proteins were located on the cell membrane and cell ***,yeast transformation experiments conﬁrmed the functionality of VvGLR3.1 and VvGLR3.2 in response to low temperature and salt ***ﬁndings highlight the signiﬁcant role of the GLR family,a highly conserved group of ion channels,in enhancing grape stress *** study offers new insights into the grape GLR gene family,providing fundamental knowledge for further functional analysis and breeding of stress-resistant grapevines.

Globalization and global governance movement accelerated economic globalization, social security, face the opportunities and challenges, China should establish a “China model” of pension security.
