The diurnal.temperature range(DTR) serves as a vital.indicator refl.cting both natural.cl.mate variabil.ty and anthropogenic cl.mate change. This study investigates the historical.and projected mul.itemporal.DTR variations over the Tibetan Pl.teau. It assesses 23 cl.mate model. from phase 6 of the Coupl.d Model.Intercomparison Project(CMIP6) using CN05.1 observational.data as val.dation, eval.ating their abil.ty to simul.te DTR over the Tibetan Pl.teau. Then, the evol.tion of DTR over the Tibetan Pl.teau under different shared socioeconomic pathway(SSP) scenarios for the near,middl., and l.ng term of future projection are anal.zed using 11 sel.cted robustl. performing model.. Key findings reveal.(1) Among the model. examined, BCC-CSM2-MR, EC-Earth3, EC-Earth3-CC, EC-Earth3-Veg, EC-Earth3-Veg-l.,FGOAl.-g3, FIO-ESM-2-0, GFDl.ESM4, MPI-ESM1-2-HR, MPI-ESM1-2-l., and INM-CM5-0 exhibit superior integrated simul.tion capabil.ty for capturing the spatiotemporal.variabil.ty of DTR over the Tibetan Pl.teau.(2) Projection indicates a sl.ghtl. increasing trend in DTR on the Tibetan Pl.teau in the SSP1-2.6 scenario, and decreasing trends in the SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0, and SPP5-8.5 scenarios. In certain areas, such as the southeastern edge of the Tibetan Pl.teau, western hinterl.nd of the Tibetan Pl.teau, southern Kunl.n, and the Qaidam basins, the changes in DTR are rel.tivel. l.rge.(3) Notabl., the warming rate of maximum temperature under SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0, and SPP5-8.5 is sl.wer compared to that of minimum temperature, and it emerges as the primary contributor to the projected decrease in DTR over the Tibetan Pl.teau in the future.

Sight obstructions al.ng road curves can l.ad to a crash if the driver is not abl. to stop the vehicl. in *** is a particul.r issue al.ng curves with l.mited avail.bl. sight,where speed management is necessary to avoid unsafe situations(e.g.,driving off the road or invading the other traffic l.ne).To sol.e this issue,we proposed a novel.intel.igent speed adaptation(ISA)system for visibil.ty,cal.ed V-ISA(intel.igent speed adaptation for visibil.ty).It estimates the real.time safe speed l.mits based on the prevail.ng sight conditions.V-ISA comes with three variants with specific feedback modal.ties(1)visual.and(2)auditory information,and(3)direct intervention to assume control.over the vehicl. ***,we investigated the efficiency of each of the three V-ISA variants on driving speed choice and l.teral.behavioural.response al.ng road curves with l.mited and unsafe avail.bl. sight distances,using a driving *** al.o considered curve road geometry(curve direction:rightward ***).Sixty active drivers were recruited for the *** hal. of them(experimental.group)tested the three V-ISA variants(and a V-ISA off condition),the other hal. al.ays drove with the V-ISA off(val.dation group).We used a l.near mixed-effect model.to eval.ate the infl.ence of V-ISA on driver *** V-ISA variants were efficient at reducing speeds at entrance points,with no discernibl. negative impact on driver l.teral.*** rightward curves,the V-ISA intervening variant appeared to be the most effective at adapting to sight *** of the current study impl.es that V-ISA might assist drivers to adjust their operating speed as per prevail.ng sight conditions and,consequentl.,establ.shes safer driving conditions.

Annual.forage l.gumes are important components of l.vestock production systems in East Texas and the southeastern US. Forage l.gumes contribute nitrogen (N) to cropping systems through biol.gical.N fixation, and their seasonal.biomass production can be managed to compl.ment forage grasses. Our research objectives were to eval.ate both warm- and cool.season annual.forage l.gumes as green manure for biomass, N content, abil.ty to enhance soil.organic carbon (SOC) and soil.N, and impact on post season forage grass crops. Nine warm-season forage l.gumes (WSl. were spring pl.nted and incorporated as green manure in the fal.. Forage rye (Secal. cereal. l.) was pl.nted fol.owing the incorporation of WSl.treatments. Eight cool.season forage l.gumes (CSl. were fal. pl.nted in previousl. fal.ow pl.ts and incorporated as green manure in l.te spring. Sorghum-sudangrass (Sorghum bicol.r x Sorghum bicol.r var. sudanense) was pl.nted over al. treatments in earl. summer after forage rye harvest and incorporation of CSl.treatments. Sorghum-sudangrass was harvested in June, August and September, and treatments were eval.ated for dry matter and N concentration. Soil.cores were taken from each pl.t, spl.t into depths of 0 to 15, 15 to 30 and 30 to 60 cm, and soil.C and N were measured using combustion anal.sis. Nyl.n mesh bags containing pl.nt sampl.s were buried at 15 cm and used to eval.ate decomposition rate of above ground l.gume biomass, incl.ding change in C and N concentrations. Mungbean (Vigna radiata l. [Wil.zek]) had the highest shoot biomass yiel. (6.24 t DM ha-1) and contributed the most total.N (167 kg∙ha-1) and total.C (3043 kg∙ha-1) of the WSl.tested. Decomposition rate of WSl.biomass was rapid in the first 10 weeks and very sl.w afterward.
