Tomato fruit are sensitive to chilling injury(CI)during cold storage.Several factors have been discovered to be involved in chilling injury of tomato fruit.Plant hormones play an important regulatory role,however,the relationship between chilling injury and N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)methylation of transcripts in plant hormone pathways has not been reported yet.In order to clarify the complex regulatory mechanism of m^(6)A methylation on chilling injury in tomato fruit,Nanopore direct RNA sequencing was employed.A large number of enzymes and transcription factors were found to be involved in the regulation process of fruit chilling injury,which were associated with plant hormone,such as 1-aminocyclopropane 1-carboxylate synthase(ACS),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),auxin response factor(ARF2),ethylene response factor 2(ERF2),gibberellin 20-oxidase-3(GA20ox)and jasmonic acid(JA).By conjoint analysis of the differential expression transcripts related to chilling injury andm^(6)Amethylation differential expression transcripts 41 differential expression transcripts were identified involved in chilling injury including 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate oxidase(ACO)and pectinesterase(PE)were down-regulated and heat shock cognate 70 kD protein 2(cpHSC70),HSP70-binding protein(HspBP)and salicylic acid-binding protein 2(SABP2)were up-regulated.Our results will provide a deeper understanding for chilling injury regulatory mechanism and post-harvest cold storage of tomato fruit.

The Implementation Basis, Short-term Effects and Recommendations of the Comprehensive Two-child Policy Taking Shaanxi Province as an Example

There are significant differences between the implementation of the family planning policy and the effects. According to a survey of Shaanxi Province, the number of families with two children has reached 62% in some cities, and only 37.8% in some cities. This laid a different foundation for the implementation of the comprehensive two-child policy. The implementation of the family planning policy is strong and the effect is good. The comprehensive benefit of the two-child policy is higher than that of the policy-relaxed areas. The urban beneficiaries are more than the rural beneficiaries. And the staffs within the system are the main beneficiaries of the comprehensive two-child policy. The implementation of the comprehensive two-child policy in the surveyed area has achieved initial results in two years: the birth rate has increased by about one thousand points, and the sex ratio of the birth population has increased overall. In 2016 and 2017, the proportion of two children in newborns increased rapidly. In some areas, the proportion of two children exceeded one child. The phenomenon of childbirth is highlighted, and the normal work of the industry is affected, such as hospitals and schools, and the functions of the family planning department are not in place. Relevant departments need to make prejudgments and adjust relevant policies.

Through the investigation of three cities in Shaanxi province, it is found that after the implementation of the "comprehensive two-child" policy, public service policies on birth, education and medical treatment, etc. have been rapidly improved on the original basis, which has reduced the cost of birth and rearing and encouraged the initiative of the masses to have children. However, under the current policies, the government can only play an "underpinning" role. There is a big gap between the government's support and parents' pursuit of improving the quality of their children, thus it is not enough to change the current population situation. The change of bearing concept, the constraint of economic conditions, the lack of childcare services, and the imbalance of educational resources are all important factors that restrict the two-child birth. The country should implement the policy of encouraging childbearing as soon as possible, popularize high-quality childcare institutions, increase the number of public kindergartens and focus on improving the quality of compulsory education, and create an atmosphere of encouraging childbearing in the whole society so as to gradually change people's bearing concept.

UV-C照射对鲜切豇豆的保鲜效果研究

为探究短波紫外线(UV-C)照射对鲜切豇豆的保鲜效果,在预试验结果的基础上,分别采用0、0.5 kJ/m^(2)的UV-C处理豇豆,然后将其置于4℃条件下贮藏,定期测定相关指标。结果表明:采用0.5 kJ/m^(2)UV-C照射可以维持鲜切豇豆较高的VC、可溶性固形物、可溶性蛋白和叶绿素含量,减少鲜切豇豆丙二醛(MDA)的积累,同时还能保持鲜切豇豆较高的总酚、类黄酮含量,并提高抗氧化酶的活性,包括过氧化物酶(POD)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)、抗坏血酸过氧化物酶(APX),一定程度上稳定多酚氧化酶(PPO)的活性。综合来说,0.5 kJ/m^(2)UV-C处理可用于鲜切豇豆的贮藏保鲜。

Many management strategies are available for pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms with liver metastases.However,a lack of biological,molecular,and genomic information and an absence of data from rigorous trials limit the validity of these strategies.This review presents the viewpoints from an international conference consisting of several expert working groups.The working groups reviewed a series of questions of particular interest to clinicians taking care of patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms with liver metastases by reviewing the existing management strategies and literature,evaluating the evidence on which management decisions were based,developing internationally acceptable recommendations for clinical practice,and making recommendations for clinical and research endeavors.The review for each question will be followed by recommendations from the panel.

目的探索外周血循环淋巴细胞的基线水平及动态变化与接受表皮生长因子受体酪氨酸激酶抑制剂(EGFR-TKI)治疗的EGFR突变阳性的转移性非小细胞肺癌患者预后之间的相关性。方法设计一个回顾性队列,包括在北京协和医院接受EGFR-TKI治疗的40例非小细胞肺癌患者。在EGFR-TKI治疗期间,使用流式细胞仪测量术收集外周血循环淋巴细胞亚群进行动态监测,并通过电话随访每位患者的生存情况,分别比较基线以及治疗1月后外周血循环淋巴细胞亚群与无进展生存期(PFS)和总生存期(OS)的关系。结果在接受EGFR-TKI治疗的患者中,更高的基线循环CD4^(+)CD45RA^(+)CD62L^(+)T细胞计数与更高的肿瘤治疗应答相关(P<0.001)。整个人群的PFS为27.1个月,而OS未达到。然而,基线CD4^(+)CD45RA^(+)CD62L^(+)T细胞计数与中位PFS无相关性。此外,在EGFR-TKI治疗期间,CD4^(+)CD45RA^(+)CD62L^(+)T细胞计数稳定或升高的患者的PFS明显长于CD4^(+)CD45RA^(+)CD62L^(+)T细胞计数降低的患者(29.1个月对比9.4个月;P<0.001)。结论更高的基线循环CD4^(+)CD45RA^(+)CD62L^(+)T细胞计数与更好的EGFR-TKI治疗应答相关,CD4^(+)CD45RA^(+)CD62L^(+)T细胞计数的动态变化与PFS延长有关。

Background:Current treatment options for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-overexpressing gastric cancer at third-line have shown limited clinical benefit.Further,there is no specific treatment for HER2 immunohistochemistry(IHC)2+and fluorescence in-situ hybridization-negative patients.Here,we report the efficacy and safety of a novel anti-HER2 antibody RC48 for patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer.Methods:Patients with HER2-overexpressing(IHC 2+or 3+),locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who were under at least second-line therapy were eligible and received RC482.5 mg/kg alone every 2 weeks.The primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR)assessed by an independent review committee.Secondary endpoints included progressionfree survival(PFS),overall survival(OS),duration of response,time to progression,disease control rate,and safety.Results:Of 179 patients screened,125 were eligible and received RC48 treatment.The ORR was 24.8%(95%confidence interval[CI]:17.5%-33.3%).The median PFS and OS were 4.1 months(95%CI:3.7-4.9 months)and 7.9 months(95%CI:6.7-9.9 months),respectively.The most frequently reported adverse events were decreased white blood cell count(53.6%),asthenia(53.6%),hair loss(53.6%),decreased neutrophil count(52.0%),anemia(49.6%),and increased aspartate aminotransferase level(43.2%).Serious adverse events(SAEs)occurred in 45(36.0%)patients,and RC48-related SAEs were mainly decreased neutrophil count(3.2%).Seven patients had adverse events that led to death were not RC48-related.Conclusions:RC48 showed promising activity with manageable safety,suggesting potential application in patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who have previously received at least two lines of chemotherapy.

Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms(pNENs)are highly heterogeneous,and the management of pNENs patients can be intractable.To address this challenge,an expert committee was established on behalf of the Chinese Pancreatic Surgery Association,which consisted of surgical oncologists,gastroenterologists,medical oncologists,endocrinologists,radiologists,pathologists,and nuclear medicine specialists.By reviewing the important issues regarding the diagnosis and treatment of pNENs,the committee concluded evidence-based statements and recommendations in this article,in order to further improve the management of pNENs patients in China.
