Most of the positioning systems nowadays require *** indoor environments,however,GPS signals cannot be received properly due to the obstructions of the walls in the ***,other techniques such as RFID,Zigbee,WIFI or Bluetooth,are used based on the power loss,cost,or transmission range *** study,conducted at the AI+ Experience Center of chung Hua University,adopts Bluetooth 5.0-based equipment and uses the received signal strength indication（RSSI） and triangulation method to perform indoor *** results show that Bluetooth positioning is more accurate in the sense that when the distance is within 1～3 meters,the error with the actual position is about 1 meter,which is more accurate than the RFID or WIFI positioning with the error of 2～3 meters.

BACKGROUND:In this study,we investigated the efficacy of continuous epidermal growth factor receptor（EGFR）tyrosine kinase inhibitors（TKIs）administration in lung adenocarcinoma patients harboring favorable mutations regarding the progressive disease（PD）status with appearance of indolent new ***:From June 2010 to October 2012,102 patients with lung adenocarcinoma,harboring favorable EGFR mutations and treated with EGFR-TKI were *** new lesions were detected during EGFR-TKI therapy,even though the primary target tumors were ***:Of the 102 patients,57 continued and 45 discontinued EGFR-TKI *** median overall survival was 529 days for the discontinuation group and 791 days for the continuation group（p=0.0197）.Median survival time after the discontinuation of EGFR-TKI was 181 days and115 days in the discontinuation and continuation groups,respectively（p=0.1776）,whereas median survival time after the appearance of indolent new lesions was 204 days and 262days,respectively（p=0.0237）.CONCLUSION:Continuous EGFR-TKI administration in favorable EGFR-mutative lung adenocarcinoma patients with controlled primary tumors did not hinder the survival benefit,despite the appearance of new lesions.

An efficient algorithm for segmenting a textured image into different regions is developed based on a set of fractal dimension estimated from calculated variorum. An edge detector is employed to detect texture boundary based on the multi-resolution framework including gradient pyramid construction followed by the reliable information obtained in the rough resolution as mask to constrain the calculation region in the rest resolution. Combined with mask and gradient in each resolution is propagating down to the finest resolution giving a more accurate boundaries estimation. The utility of the proposed method is demonstrated on a number of synthesis and natural textures.

Home Energy Information Management Systems（HEIMS） in advanced countries are a new trend for energy-saving in residential sector,as the pre-stage of smart *** Power Company（TPC） has begun to deploy the Advanced Metering Infrastructure（AMI） for low-voltage customers since *** plans to complete the installation of 10,000 AMI by the end of *** general,the household has three options to choose at the time of AMI installation,i.e.,deluxe option（smart meter,in-home display（IHD）,HEIMS）;standard option（smart meter,IHD）;basic option（smart meter）.The purpose of this paper is to conduct a market survey for investigating the residential customers’ preferences and willingness to pay when they are facing these three *** order to achieve this objective,we utilized technology acceptance model（TAM）,derived from theory of reasoned action（TRA） as a research ***,we designed a questionnaire based on the following subjects:willingness to pay,switching cost,usefulness,attitude toward,subject norm,and switching ***,we conducted internet surveys through "Mysurvy"（***）.In addition,we utilized LISREL8.70 and SPSS12.0 to analyze the surveyed *** major findings of this study showed that switching costs would not positively affect actual behavior,subject norm would not positively affect attitude,but the perceived usefulness and attitudes would positively affect actual behavior.

＜正＞ In this study, a hierarchy of average-state approximate Riemann solver is proposed to solve the incompressible time-dependent Navier-Stokes Equations on generalized coordinates. In the evaluation of unsteady time accuracy, a LUSSOR implicit scheme is utilized with dual-time stepping. Numerical benchmark is performed on the lid-driven cavity flow calculations. The main goal of this work is to analyze developing, pulsatile blood flows through a physiologically realistic model of an aortic arch based on the current incompressible approach. The wall pressure and shear stress distributions are computed based on the model geometry and blood flow velocity conditions which are obtained by phase contrast m agnetic resonance mage （MRI） technique.

Background Nasopharyngeal carcinoma （NPC） patients have a 19%-56% locoregional recurrence rate after primary *** those recurrent NPC （rNPC） patients,re-irradiation may cause some *** recent years,endoscopic endonasal nasopharyngectomy （EEN） has become a surgical option for rNPC *** we introduce the concept of en bloc excision （EBE） technique for EEN,including the surgical technique and clinical *** A retrospective study was conducted covering September 2009 to May 2013,involving the collection of Iocoregional rNPC cases from two institutions （Kuang-Tien General Hospital （KTGH） in Taiwan and National University Health System （NUHS） in Singapore）.These patients failed prior therapy and then underwent *** reported the 2-year overall survival rate,the 2-year disease-free survival rate,and related *** Nine patients （five from KTGH and four from NUHS） completed this study,with five,two,and two patients of recurrence tumors （rT1）,rT2,and rT3,*** mean age was 46.4 years （range 32-63）; the mean follow-up period was 24.9 months （range 10-45）.The 2-year survival rate and the 2-year disease-free rate were 100% and 80%,respectively,in five *** significant complications or cases of mortality *** The EBE concept of EEN is suitable for early rT1 and has relatively encouraging short-term *** selected rT2,careful EBE can be performed by expanding the surgical field.A clear view of the internal carotid arteryrelated anatomy is *** the future,more series may be needed to determine the role of EEN in rNPC patients.
