Nowadays manufacturers are facing fierce *** from the products,providing customers with multiple maintenance options in the service contract becomes more popular,since it can help to improve customer satisfaction,and ultimately promote sales and maximize profit for the *** considering the combinations of corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance,totally three types of maintenance service contracts are ***,attractive incentive and penalty mechanisms are adopted in the *** this basis,Nash non-cooperative game is applied to analyze the revenue for both the manufacturer and customers,and so as to optimize the pricing mechanism of maintenance service contract and achieve a win-win *** experiments are *** results show that by taking into account the incentive and penalty mechanisms,the revenue can be improved for both the customers and ***,with the increase of repair rate and improvement factor in the preventive maintenance,the revenue will increase gradually for both the parties.

Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is an enduring condition that leads to inflammation and affects a substantial number of individuals with diabetes worldwide. A gradual reduction in glomerular filtration and emergence of proteins in the urine are typical aspects of DN, ultimately resulting in renal failure. Mounting evidence suggests that immunological and inflammatory factors are crucial for the development of DN. Therefore, the activation of innate immunity by resident renal and immune cells is critical for initiating and perpetuating inflammation. Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are an important group of receptors that identify patterns and activate immune responses and inflammation. Meanwhile, inflammatory responses in the liver, pancreatic islets, and kidneys involve inflammasomes and chemokines that generate pro-inflammatory cytokines. Moreover, the activation of the complement cascade can be triggered by glycated proteins. This review highlights recent findings elucidating how the innate immune system contributes to tissue fibrosis and organ dysfunction, ultimately leading to renal failure. This review also discusses innovative approaches that can be utilized to modulate the innate immune responses in DN for therapeutic purposes.

Design and development of advanced electrocatalysts with high performance and low Pt consumption are crucial for reducing the kinetic energy barrier of the cathode oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and improving the efficiency of proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFC).In this study,we demonstrate a Pb-modulated PtCo system for efficient ORR,in which the inclusion of Pb in ternary alloys induces dislocation defects due to the significant difference in atomic ***-PtCoPb was confirmed to exhibit significantly higher ORR activity and stability in acidic *** practical PEMFC applications,it outperforms the corresponding commercial Pt/C with a mass activity of 0.58 A·mgPt^(-1),making it a promising alternative to state-of-the-art Pt-based *** combination of experimental results and density functional theory(DFT)calculations offers valuable atomic-level insights into the dislocation *** with a larger atomic radius is located in the lattice stretching region below the dislocation slip plane,forming a structure similar to a Cottrell atmosphere,which reduces the dislocation energy and puts the system in a lower energy *** Cottrell atmosphere pins the dislocation structure and stabilizes the ternary *** adjusting the amount of added Pb,a moderate level of dislocation density induces a tuned strain effect,thereby enhancing the electrocatalytic mechanism by optimizing the electronic structure of the alloy surface and the adsorption and desorption of oxygen *** work provides valuable insights into the design and development of lattice dislocation defect structures to trigger strain effects for improving ORR performance.

A comprehensive modeling strategy for studying the thermomechanical tribological behaviors is proposed in this *** wear degradation considering the influence of temperature(T)is predicted by Archard wear model with the help of the UMESHMOTION subroutine and arbitrary Lagrangian–Eulerian(ALE)remeshing *** the proposed method,the thermomechanical tribological behaviors of railway vehicle disc brake system composed of forged steel brake disc and Cu-based powder metallurgy(PM)friction block are studied *** effectiveness of the proposed methodology is validated by experimental test on a self-designed scaled brake test bench from the perspectives of interface temperature,wear degradation,friction noise and vibration,and contact status *** work can provide an effective way for the investigation of thermomechanical tribological behaviors in the engineering field.

The effect of stress-relief annealing at different stages of thermal fatigue tests on crack growth was investigated using a self-built thermal cycle *** results showed that annealing could limit crack expansion *** reduced dislocation density and released the accumulation of residual *** addition,the strain accumulation in carbides was reduced by this *** was also found that double annealing was even more effective at inhibiting crack expansion compared to single stress-relief *** 1000 cycles,the maximum crack length was reduced by 31.1%and 45.2%for the samples after using the optimal single and double annealing processes,*** single stress-relief annealing,earlier annealing provides more benefit in delaying crack ***,effective double stress-relief annealing requires a suitable time interval between the annealing ***,after 800 cycles,surface hardness decreased significantly accompanied by an increase in the size and number of carbides,and cracks expanded predominantly along grain boundaries.

Objective Hydroquinone(HQ),one of the phenolic metabolites of benzene,is widely recognized as an important participant in benzene-induced ***,there are few relevant proteomics in HQ-induced hematotoxicity and the mechanism hasn’t been fully understood *** In this study,we treated K562 cells with 40μmol/L HQ for 72 h,examined and validated protein expression changes by Label-free proteomic analysis and Parallel reaction monitoring(PRM),and performed bioinformatics analysis to identify interaction *** One hundred and eighty-seven upregulated differentially expressed proteins(DEPs)and 279 downregulated DEPs were identified in HQ-exposed K562 cells,which were involved in neutrophilmediated immunity,blood microparticle,and other GO terms,as well as the lysosome,metabolic,cell cycle,and cellular senescence-related *** on the 23 DEGs and 5 DEPs in erythroid differentiation-related pathways,we constructed the network of protein interactions and determined 6 DEPs(STAT1,STAT3,CASP3,KIT,STAT5B,and VEGFA)as main hub proteins with the most interactions,among which STATs made a central impact and may be potential biomarkers of HQ-induced *** Our work reinforced the use of proteomics and bioinformatic approaches to advance knowledge on molecular mechanisms of HQ-induced hematotoxicity at the protein level and provide a valuable basis for further clarification.

The mixing of powders is a highly relevant field under additive manufacturing,however,it has attracted limited interest to *** in-situ mixing of various powders remains a significant *** paper proposes a new method utilizing a static mixer for the in-situ mixing of multiple powders through the laser-based directed energy deposition(DED)of functionally graded ***,a powder-mixing experimental platform was established;WC and 316L powders were selected for the mixing ***,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive spectroscopy,and image processing were used to visually evaluate the homogeneity and proportion of the in-situ mixed ***,powder-mixing simulations were conducted to determine the powder-mixing *** the simulations,a powder carrier gas flow field and particle mixing were ***,a WC/316L metal matrix composite sample was produced using laser-based DED to verify the application potential of the static *** was found that the static mixer could adjust the powder ratio online,and a response time of 1–2 s should be considered when adjusting the ratio of the mixed powder.A feasible approach for in-situ powder mixing for laser-based DED was demonstrated and investigated,creating the basis for functionally graded materials.

Flocking of a Cucker-Smale Type Model with Compactly Supported Interaction Functions

How to analyze flocking behaviors of a multi-agent system with local interaction functions is a challenging problem in theory. Motsch and Tadmor in 2011 also stressed the significance to assume that the interaction function is rapidly decaying or cut-off at a finite distance (cf. Motsch and Tadmor in J. Stat. Phys. 2011). In this paper, we study the flocking behavior of a Cucker-Smale type model with compactly supported interaction functions. Using properties of a connected stochastic matrix, together with an elaborate analysis on perturbations of a linearized system, we obtain a sufficient condition imposed only on model parameters and initial data to guarantee flocking. Moreover, it is shown that the system achieves flocking at an exponential rate.
