We present a systematical study on the possible stable structures of C_(60-x)Si_(x)(x=1–12)fullerenes using first-principles calculations combined with Monte-Carlo *** initial fullerenes randomly substituting with silicon atoms are firstly generated and then their total energies are calculated *** ground-state structures are found by the annealing process where Si atoms exchange their positions with C *** stable structures are finally obtained through first-principles calculations with high *** the cases with a small amount of Si atoms(x≤4),results similar to those report previously are *** new stable Si-doped fullerenes with more Si atoms are also *** results show that Si atoms in the C_(60-x)Si_(x)(x≤4)fullerenes have a trend of segregation with C *** minimum-energy structure changes from a chemical unstable state to a chemical stable state when x≥8.

The complex fluoride LiBaF3 is solvothermally synthesized at 180degreesC and characterized by means of X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and infrared spectroscopy. In the solvothermal process, the solvents, mole ratios of initial mixtures and reaction temperature play important roles in the growth of the single crystal.

Motivated by the observation that firms invest in carbon emissions reduction to decrease the cost of carbon tax as governments in numerous countries increasingly implement carbon tax to improve the environment,and broad researcher and practitioner agreement that carbon tax implementation always benefits the ***,we find that a carbon tax may actually hurt the environment based on a stylized game model with a better-informed retailer(one who controls the demand information sharing with the manufacturer)and a *** particular,we find that the carbon emissions reduction may harm the environment if the carbon tax is moderate or both the carbon tax and the demand fluctuation are *** further reveal free-riding behavior by the retailer,who may enjoy more profit sharing from the supply chain in the presence of carbon emissions *** on these observations,we argue that a carbon tax does not always benefit the environment when a manufacturer who receives demand information from the retailer responds better to market uncertainty.

The cable acquisition and control system of the traditional greenhouse has many disadvantages such as complicated wiring,high cost and lack of accuracy and *** order to solve those problems,a greenhouse acquisition and control system based on ZigBee wireless sensor network（WSN） is designed in this *** ZigBee with temperature sensor DS18B20 and humidity sensor AM2301 is used as the sensor node,the fan and the wet curtain formed as two controller nodes which are respectively connected with the ZigBee *** coordinator receives environmental data collected by the sensor nodes,and then sends the control commands to the controller nodes after processing and analyzing the data,which changes the execution status of the fan and the wet curtain,so as to adjust temperature and humidity inside the greenhouse,providing suitable growth environment for *** experimental results show that the system can realize wireless collection of greenhouse environment data and the control of main equipment in the *** greenhouse acquisition and control system based on WSN with low cost and low power consumption has reduced labour intensity,and the data packet loss rate is zero,which is applicable for small greenhouse monitoring and control with good accuracy and scalability.

Many Chinese people leave big cities for family reunions during the Chinese New Year （CNY）, which is the most important public holiday in China. However, how modem mass human migration during the CNY holiday affects the urban heat island （UHI） is still un- known. Here, the authors investigate the role of modem human migration for the UHI effects during the CNY holiday for the period of 1992-2006 in Harbin City, Northeast China. The results show that during the CNY week, the UHI effects expressed as daily mean, maxi- mum, and minimum temperature differences between urban and rural stations averaged over the period of 1992-2006 are 0.65℃ （43%）, 0.31℃ （48%）, and 1.14℃ （71%） lower than during the background period （four weeks before and four weeks after the CNY week）, re- spectively. Our findings identify previously unknown impacts of modem mass human migration on the UHI effects based on a case study in Harbin City.

The influence of processing parameters on the coating surface roughness of LD10 aluminum alloy treated by the power source with positive and negative pulse in the alkaline electrolyte was *** of experiments were done with different processing parameters including the positive final voltage,the negative final voltage,the frequency,the duty ratio,the processing time and electrolyte *** the surface roughness tester TR200 was used to measure the coating surface *** influence of the processing time on the surface roughness is the smallest,less than 0.2μ*** surface roughness decreases gradually with the duty ratio decreasing or the frequency increasing;it decreases gradually with each of the other parameters increasing,and then increases gradually after achieving the minimum *** by selecting processing parameters,the coating with Ra 0.6 can be obtained.

AIM: To retrospectively evaluate our experience with the diagnosis and surgical resection of esophageal gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs).METHODS: Between January 2003 and August 2014, five esophageal GIST cases were admitted to our hospital. In this study, the hospital records, surgery outcomes, tumor recurrence and survival of these patients were retrospectively ***: The median age of the patients was 45.6 years(range: 12-62 years). Three patients presented with dysphagia, and one patient presented with chest discomfort. The remaining patient was asymptomatic. Four patients were diagnosed with esophageal GISTs by a preoperative endoscopic biopsy. Three patients underwent esophagectomy, and two patients underwent video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery. The mean operating time was 116 min(range: 95-148 min), and the mean blood loss was 176 m L(range: 30-300 m L). All tumors were completely resected. The mean length of postoperative hospital stay was 8.4 d(range: 6-12 d). All patients recovered and were discharged successfully. The median postoperative follow-up duration was 48 mo(range: 29-72 mo). One patient was diagnosed with recurrence, one patient was lost to follow-up, and three patients were asymptomatic and are currently being managed with close radiologic and clinical ***:Surgery is the standard,effective and successful treatment for esophageal *** follow-up is required to monitor recurrence and metastasis.

Characterizing how chemical compounds binding to serum albumin is essential in evaluating drug candidates and is the focus of this study. A surface plasmon resonance biosenser developed in this laboratory was used to determine the binding constants of antibiotics with serum albumin. The binding constants of five antibiotics（asithromycin, spectinomycin, gentamycin, metacycline and kanamycin） with serum albumins were obtained.
