Obesity is closely related with insulin resistance and chronic ***,we report that unsaturated lipid-modified polyoxovanadates(ULPOVs)can restrict weight gain of diet-induced obese mice and improve their glycemic control and obesity-associated *** administration of the sub-nanosized ULPOVs at a low dosage for 7 weeks reduces the body weight and almost normalizes the blood glucose levels of obese mice fed on a high-fat *** treatment increases the activity of the nuclear receptor peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ(PPARγ)and reduces intestinal caloric intake,which may be the main reason for blood sugar and body weight *** addition to insulin-sensitizing,PPARγactivation induced by ULPOV treatment in obese mice with atopic dermatitis(AD)promotes the type 2 T helper(TH_(2))cell selective responses and therapeutic effects on immune dysregulation caused by *** data suggest sub-nanosized polyoxovanadate clusters as a class of potential candidates to relieve symptoms accompanied by diet-induced obesity.

Multicomponent self-assembled chiral systems have attracted great attention due to their promising application in the area of spin-photonics and *** this work,through introducing an achiral third component into an achiral binary crystal,a chiral organic ternary crystal is fabricated,where both pronounced chiral-optical coupling and magnetic field dependence of chiral-optical activities are *** transformation of achiral structure into chiral structure generates a significant effect on the polarized state of light and the electron spin resonance ***,the coupling between circularly polarized photon and spin is observed in chiral ternary crystal with pronounced chiral orbit,where obvious magnetic field-transmissivity loop is ***,temperature could increase the magnitude of lattice parameters to lead to a larger helix radius to increase the chiral orbit ***,this work indicates that the further exploration of photon-chiral orbit-spin interactions in organic chiral ternary crystals is promising.

Few studies have investigated the spatial patterns of the air temperature urban heat island(AUHI)and its controlling *** this study,the data generated by an urban climate model were used to investigate the spatial variations of the AUHI across China and the underlying climate and ecological drivers.A total of 355 urban clusters were *** performed an attribution analysis of the AUHI to elucidate the mechanisms underlying its *** results show that the midday AUHI is negatively correlated with climate wetness(humid:0.34 K;semi-humid:0.50 K;semi-arid:0.73 K).The annual mean midnight AUHI does not show discernible spatial patterns,but is generally stronger than the midday *** urban–rural difference in convection efficiency is the largest contributor to the midday AUHI in the humid(0.32±0.09 K)and the semi-arid(0.36±0.11 K)climate *** release of anthropogenic heat from urban land is the dominant contributor to the midnight AUHI in all three climate *** rural vegetation density is the most important driver of the daytime and nighttime AUHI spatial variations.A spatial covariance analysis revealed that this vegetation influence is manifested mainly through its regulation of heat storage in rural land.

The first exothermic peak of cement-based material occurs a few minutes after mixing,and the properties of three dimensional(3D)printed concrete,such as setting time,are very sensitive to *** this background,based on the classical Park cement exothermic model of hydration,we propose and construct a numerical model of the first exothermic peak,taking into account the proportions of C_(3)S,C_(3)A and quicklime in *** calculated parameters are calibrated by means of relevant published exothermic test *** is found that this developed model offers a good simulation of the first exothermic peak of hydration for C_(3)S and C_(3)A proportions from 0 to 100% of cement clinker and reflects the effect of quicklime content at 8%-10%.The unique value of this research is provision of an important computational tool for applications that are sensitive to the first exothermic peak of hydration,such as 3D printing.
