A comprehensive research on wear resistance of GH4169 superalloy in longitudinal-torsional ultrasonic vibration side milling with tool wear and surface quality

To improve the service and machining performance of the workpiece, the tool wear mechanisms, surface machining quality, and wear resistance in conventional side milling(CSM)and longitudinal-torsional ultrasonic vibration side milling(LTUVSM) of GH4169 superalloy at different cutting lengths are investigated systematically. Tool wear mechanisms are revealed and the correlation between machined surface quality with tool wear is analyzed correspondingly. Tool wear patterns mainly include adhesive wear, diffusion wear, abrasive wear, and chipping *** surface quality is achieved in LTUVSM due to a maximum reduction of flank wear bandwidth and wear rate by 71.9% and 71.5%, respectively, compared to CSM. The friction coefficient,initial wear stage time, and wear volume of dry sliding wear were measured to evaluate the workpiece wear resistance. The maximum reductions in friction coefficient and wear volume in LTUVSM are 18.2% and 15.8% compared to CSM. The regular ultrasonic vibration textures suppress the friction and the growth of contact nodes in the contact area, decreasing the degree of surface wear, which is demonstrated by a 38.8% increase in initial wear stage time compared to *** conclusion, the workpiece in LTUVSM exhibits higher wear resistance because of the improvement of tool wear and the guarantee of surface quality.

Immediate effects of acupuncture on gait patterns in patients with knee osteoarthritis

Background Acupuncture has been shown to be effective in pain relief and anesthesia, and has been suggested for treating various kinds of functional disabilities in traditional Chinese medicine, including knee osteoarthritis （CA）. The study aimed to investigate the immediate effects of acupuncture on gait patterns in patients with knee CA. Methods Twenty patients with bilateral medial knee CA were assigned evenly and randomly to a sham group and an experimental group. During the experiment, the experimental group underwent a 30-minute formula electro-acupuncture treatment while the sham group received a sham treatment. Before and after treatment, each subject was evaluated for their knee pain using visual analog scales （VAS） and then their performance of level walking using gait analysis. For all the obtained variables, the independent t-test was used for between-group comparisons, while paired t-test was used to investigate the before and after changes. Results All the measured data before acupuncture treatment between the groups were not significantly different. The VAS scores were decreased significantly after acupuncture in both groups, and the mean change of the VAS values of the experiment group was 2 times greater than that of the sham group. After formula acupuncture stimulation, while no significant changes were found in all the gait variables in the sham group, the experimental group had significant increases in the gait speed, step length, as well as in several components of the joint angles and moments. Conclusions The results of the study suggest that significantly improved gait performance in the experimental group may be associated with pain relief after treatment, but the relatively small decrease of pain in the sham group was not enough to induce significant improvements in gait patterns. As an important mechanism in multi-agent interaction,communication can make agents form complex team relationships rather than constitute a simple set of multiple independent ***,the existing communication schemes can bring much timing redundancy and irrelevant messages,which seriously affects their practical *** solve this problem,this paper proposes a targeted multiagent communication algorithm based on state control(SCTC).The SCTC uses a gating mechanism based on state control to reduce the timing redundancy of communication between agents and determines the interaction relationship between agents and the importance weight of a communication message through a series connection of hard-and self-attention mechanisms,realizing targeted communication message *** addition,by minimizing the difference between the fusion message generated from a real communication message of each agent and a fusion message generated from the buffered message,the correctness of the final action choice of the agent is *** evaluation using a challenging set of Star Craft II benchmarks indicates that the SCTC can significantly improve the learning performance and reduce the communication overhead between agents,thus ensuring better cooperation between agents.

The poor reversibility of Zn anodes induced by dendrite growth,surface passivation,and corrosion,severely hinders the practical applicability of Zn metal *** address these issues,a plasmaassisted aerogel(PAG)interface engineering was proposed as efficient ion transport modulator that can simultaneously regulate uniform Zn^(2+)flux and desolvation behavior during battery *** PAG with ordered mesopores acted as an ion sieve to homogenize Zn deposition and accelerate Zn^(2+)flux,which is favorable for corrosion resistance and dendrite ***,the plasma-assisted aerogel with abundant hydrophilic groups can facilitate the desolvation kinetics of Zn^(2+)due to the multiple hydrogen-bonding interaction with the activated water molecules,thus accelerating the Zn^(2+)migration ***,the Zn/Zn cell assembled with PAG-modified separator demonstrates stable plating and stripping behavior(over 1400 h at 1 mA cm^(-2))and high Coulombic efficiency(99.8%at1 mA cm^(-2)after 1100 cycles),and the Zn‖MnO_(2)full cell shows excellent long-term cycling stability and maintains a high capacity of 154.9 mA h g^(-1)after 1000 cycles at 1 A g^(-1).This study provides a feasible approach for the large-scale fabrication of aerogel functionalized separators to realize ultra-stable Zn metal batteries.

Microalgal-indigenous bacterial wastewater treatment(MBWT)emerges as a promising approach for the concurrent removal of nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P).Despite its potential,the prevalent use of MBWT in batch systems limits its broader ***,the success of MBWT critically depends on the stable self-adaptation and synergistic interactions between microalgae and indigenous bacteria,yet the underlying biological mechanisms are not fully *** we explore the viability and microbial dynamics of a continuous flow microalgae-indigenous bacteria advanced wastewater treatment system(CFMBAWTS)in processing actual secondary effluent,with a focus on varying hydraulic retention times(HRTs).The research highlights a stable,mutually beneficial relationship between indigenous bacteria and *** and indigenous bacteria can create an optimal environment for each other by providing essential cofactors(like iron,vitamins,and indole-3-acetic acid),oxygen,dissolved organic matter,and *** collaboration leads to effective microbial growth,enhanced N and P removal,and energy *** study also uncovers crucial metabolic pathways,functional genes,and patterns of microbial ***,the effluent NH4 t-N and P levels complied with the Chinese national Class-II,Class-V,Class-IA,and Class-IB wastewater discharge standards when the HRT was reduced from 15 to 6 *** results,including the highest rates of CO2 fixation(1.23 g L^(-1)),total energy yield(32.35 kJ L^(-1)),and the maximal lipid(33.91%)and carbohydrate(41.91%)content,were observed at an HRT of 15 ***,this study not only confirms the feasibility of CFMBAWTS but also lays a crucial foundation for enhancing our understanding of this technology and propelling its practical application in wastewater treatment plants.
