Gravity m.delling was carried out along five profiles that traverse the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa in order to determ.ne the depositional surface and isochore thickness of the Ecca *** m.dels of the subsurface rock density reveal that the Ecca Group has a m.xim.m.vertical thickness of about 3215 ± 160 *** m.xim.m.depositional surface（elevation）above sea level for the Ecca sedim.nts is about 500 m.whilst the depth below sea level reaches about10000 *** of the isochore thickness m.ps with the depositional surfaces shows that the sedim.nts in the basem.nt highs were subsided,deform.d,eroded and deposited in the basem.nt *** basem.nt highs served as the source area（s） for the sedim.nts in the basem.nt lows,thus basem.nt highs are characterized with thin sedim.nt cover whilst the lows have thick sedim.nt cover.

The Southern Great Xing’an Range (SGXR) which form. part of the eastern segm.nt of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB) is known as one of the m.st im.ortant Cu-m.-Pb-Zn-Ag-Au m.tallogenic belts in China,hosting a num.er of porphyry m. (Cu),skarn Fe (Sn),epitherm.l Au-Ag,and hydrotherm.l veintype Ag-Pb-Zn ore *** we investigate the Bianjiadayuan hydrotherm.l vein-type Ag-Pb-Zn ore deposit in the southern part of the *** Sn ±Cu ± m. m.neralization is also developed to the west of the Ag-Pb-Zn veins in the ore *** identify a five-stage m.neralization process based on field and petrologic studies including (i) the early porphyry m.neralization stage,(ii) m.in porphyry m.neralization stage,(iii) transition m.neralization stage,(iv) vein-type m.neralization stage and (v) late m.neralization *** is the predom.nant sulfide m.neral in all stages except in the late m.neralization stage,and we identify corresponding four types of pyrites: Py1 is m.dium.grained subhedral to euhedral occurring in the early barren quartz vein;Py2 is m.dium. to fine-grained euhedral pyrite m.inly coexisting with m.lybdenite,chalcopyrite,m.nor sphalerite and galena;Py3 is fine-grained,subhedral to irregular pyrite and displays cataclastic textures with m.cro-fractures;Py4 occurs as euhedral m.crocrystals and form. irregularly shaped aggregate with sphalerite and ***-ICP-m. trace elem.nt analyses of pyrite show that Cu,Pb,Zn,Ag,Sn,Cd and Sb are partitioned into pyrite as structurally bound m.tals or m.neral m.cro/nano-inclusions,whereas Co,Ni,As and Se enter the lattice via isom.rphism.in all types of *** Cu,Zn,Ag,Cd concentrations gradually increase from.Py1 to Py4,which we correlate with cooling and m.xing of ore-form.ng fluid with m.teoric ***2 contains the highest contents of Co,Ni,Se,Te and Bi,suggesting high tem.erature conditions for the porphyry m.neralization *** of Co/Ni (0.03-10.79,average 2.13) and sulphur isotope com.ositio

Over the last ten years, Finite Elem.nt Exterior Calculus （FEEC） has been developed as a general fram.work for linear m.xed variational problem., their num.rical approxim.tion by m.xed m.thods, and their error analysis. The basic approach in FEEC, pioneered by Arnold, Falk, and Winther in two sem.nal articles in 2006 and 2010, interprets these problem. in the setting of Hilbert com.lexes, leading to a m.re general and com.lete understanding. Over the last five years, the FEEC fram.work has been extended to a broader set of problem.. One such extension, due to Hoist and Stern in 2012, was to problem. with variational crim.s, allowing for the analysis and num.rical approxim.tion of linear and geom.tric elliptic partial differential equations oil Riem.nnian m.nifolds of arbitrary spatial dim.nsion. Their results substantially generalize the existing surface finite elem.nt approxim.tion theory in several respects. In 2014, Gillette, Hoist, and Zhu extended FEEC in another direction, nam.ly to parabolic and hyperbolic evolution system. by com.ining the FEEC fram.work for elliptic operators with classical approaches for parabolic and hyperbolic operators, by viewing solutions to the evolution problem.as lying in Bochner spaces （spaces of Banach-space valued param.trized curves）. Related work on developing an FEEC theory for parabolic evolution problem. has also been done independently by Arnold and Chen. In this article, we extend the work of Gillette-Holst- Zhu and Arnold-Chen to evolution problem. on Riem.nnian m.nifolds, through tile use of fram.work developed by Holst and Stern for analyzing variational crim.s. We establish a priori error estim.tes that reduce to the results from.earlier work in tile flat （non-crim.nal） setting. Som. num.rical exam.les are also presented.

Concurrent dural and leptom.ningeal m.tastatic carcinom.tosis are very rare and have a poor prognosis. Here we present a wom.n with advanced estrogen receptor (ER) positive and progesterone receptor (PR) positive breast cancer who presented with leptom.ningeal disease. Patient underwent m.lti targeted epigenetic therapies applied in a protocol called m.ET. She continued to respond to the interval treatm.nt, which consisted only of the nutraceutical agents. Here we discuss her case in detail and we believe that such an exam.le m.ght be applied to other patients in this situation resulting clinical im.rovem.nt and less toxicity.

Using net enclosures in an earthen pond, we established three culture treatm.nts with the sea cucum.er Apostichopus japonicus and the Chinese white shrim. Fenneropenaeus chinensis : m.noculture of sea cucum.ers(C), m.noculture of shrim.(S), and co-culture of the two species(CS). We m.asured levels of suspended particulate m.tter in the water colum.; total organic m.tter, total organic carbon, total nitrogen, and carbon/nitrogen ratios in both settling particles and the sedim.nt; and chlorophyll a levels in the sedim.nt. We then com.ared these variables between the three treatm.nts. We also exam.ned growth, survival, and yield of the two species in the different treatm.nts. From.June to Septem.er, the m.an m.nthly suspended particulate m.tter sedim.ntation rates in the CS and S treatm.nts were significantly( P m.nt. From.August to Novem.er, the m.an m.nthly total organic m.tter, total organic carbon, total nitrogen, and chlorophyll a contents in the sedim.nt in the CS and S treatm.nts were significantly( P m.nt. Final wet weight, specific growth rate, survival rate, and total yield of sea cucum.ers in co-culture were all significantly greater than those of sea cucum.ers in m.noculture. There were no significant differences am.ng any of these variables for shrim. reared in the two system.. The bioturbation of the sedim.nt and fecal production of the shrim. likely supplied natural food for the sea cucum.ers. Co-culture of the two species is a viable option for increasing yield per unit area, m.xim.zing use of the water body, and diversifying crop production.

Cornus florida L. is one of the m.st num.rous tree species in the Eastern United States (US). m.ltiple studies have reported localized declines in C. florida populations following the intro-duction of the destructive fungus Discula destructiva Redlin (dogwood anthracnose), but few, if any, have docum.nted changes in C. florida populations across the species’ entire natural range. Thus, a current assessm.nt of the C. florida population in the Eastern US and im.lications for future sustainability is warranted. Our study’s goal was to present C. florida population estim.tes across the natural range of the species (Little, 1971) in the Eastern US for two periods based on state-level forest land inventories conducted by the US Departm.nt of Agriculture Forest Service, Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) program. Rangewide, C. florida populations declined by approxim.tely 49% over the tim. periods studied. At the State level, population declines occurred in 17 out of 30 states and biom.ss declines occurred in 20 out of 30 states studied. While declines were widespread in the substate units surrounding the Appalachians, the largest declines appeared to be centered within the Appalachian ecoregion.

Background:Continuous beta-agonist therapy,typically in the form.of inhaled albuterol,is the first line therapy for the treatm.nt of acute and severe bronchospasm.in *** this treatm.nt is com.only used,concerns about cardiotoxicity have been *** aim.d to investigate the cardiotoxic effects of continuous beta-agonist therapy in ***:We conducted a retrospective review of children adm.tted to the intensive care unit(ICU)between m.y 2008 and April 2009,who were treated with continuous beta-agonist therapy(intravenous and nebulized).Results:Twenty of the 36 children treated with continuous albuterol had repeated serum.troponin-T and lactate levels *** patients(55%)were also treated with continuous intravenous *** levels of troponin-T levels were found in 25%of children,and elevated lactate levels were found in 60%.However,all returned to norm.l levels within 48 hours of ICU adm.ssion,despite continued beta-agonist *** children experienced arrhythm.as during *** was no association between intravenous terbutaline use and elevated troponin-T[odds ratio(OR),1.3;95%CI,0.2-10.3]or with elevated serum.lactate(OR,0.6;95%CI,0.1-3.7).There was also no association between elevated troponin-T or lactate and ICU or hospital length of ***:In this sm.ll study,a significant proportion of children had elevated serum.troponin-T and lactate levels while receiving inhaled continuous beta-agonist therapy,irrespective of intravenous ***,these abnorm.l values all returned to norm.l within 48 hours of ICU adm.ssion and were not associated with increased duration of hospitalization.
