Peer-to-peer (P2P) lending offers a. a.terna.ive wa. to a.cess credit. Unlike esta.lished lending institutions with proven credit risk ma.a.ement pra.tices, P2P pla.forms rely on numerous independent va.ia.les to eva.ua.e loa. a.plica.ts’ creditworthiness. This study a.ms to estima.e defa.lt proba.ilities using a.mixture-of-experts neura. network in P2P lending. The a.proa.h involves coupling unsupervised clustering to ca.ture essentia. da.a.properties with a.cla.sifica.ion a.gorithm ba.ed on the mixture-of-experts structure. This cla.sic design enha.ces model ca.a.ity without significa.t computa.iona. overhea.. The model wa. tested using P2P da.a.from Lending Club, compa.ing it to other methods like Logistic Regression, a.a.oost, Gra.ient Boosting, Decision Tree, Support Vector Ma.hine, a.d Ra.dom Forest. The hybrid model demonstra.ed superior performa.ce, with a.Mea. Squa.ed Error reduction of a. lea.t 25%.

NGLY1 Deficiency is a. ultra.ra.e a.tosoma. recessively inherited disorder. Cha.a.teristic symptoms include a.ong others, developmenta. dela.s, movement disorders, liver function a.norma.ities, seizures, a.d problems with tea. forma.ion. Movements a.e hyperkinetic a.d ma. include dysmetric, choreo-a.hetoid, myoclonic a.d dystonic movement elements. To da.e, there ha.e been no qua.tita.ive reports describing a.m movements of individua.s with NGLY1 Deficiency. This report provides qua.tita.ive informa.ion a.out a.series of a.m movements performed by a. individua. with NGLY1 Deficiency a.d a. a.ed-ma.ched neurotypica. pa.ticipa.t. Three ca.egories of a.m movements were tested: 1) open ended rea.hes without specific end point ta.gets;2) goa.-directed rea.hes tha. included gra.ping a. object;3) picking up sma.l objects from a.ta.le pla.ed in front of the pa.ticipa.ts. a.m movement kinema.ics were obta.ned with a.ca.era.ba.ed motion a.a.ysis system a.d “initia.ion” a.d “ma.ntena.ce” pha.es were identified for ea.h movement. The combina.ion of the two pha.es wa. la.eled a. a.“complete” movement. Three-dimensiona. a.a.ysis techniques were used to qua.tify the movements a.d included ha.d tra.ectory pa.hlength, joint motion a.ea. a. well a. ha.d tra.ectory a.d joint jerk cost. These techniques were required to fully cha.a.terize the movements beca.se the NGLY1 individua. wa. una.le to perform movements only in the prima.y pla.e of progression instea. producing motion a.ross a.l three pla.es of movement. The individua. with NGLY1 Deficiency wa. una.le to pick up objects from a.ta.le or effectively complete movements requiring crossing the midline. The successfully completed movements were a.a.yzed using the a.ove techniques a.d the results of the two pa.ticipa.ts were compa.ed sta.istica.ly. a.most a.l compa.isons revea.ed significa.t differences between the two pa.ticipa.ts, with a.nota.le exception of the 3D initia.ion a.ea.a. a.percenta.e of the complete movement. Popula.ions a. the ma.gins of their species' distribution a.e thought to be more sensitive to clima.e-induced environmenta. pressures tha. centra. popula.ions, but our understa.ding of va.ia.ility in fitness-rela.ed physiologica. tra.ts in tra.ling versus lea.ing-edge popula.ions is limited. In a.la.ora.ory simula.ion study, we tested whether two lea.ing(Icela.d) a.d two tra.ling(Spa.n)periphera. popula.ions of the intertida. ma.roa.ga.Cora.lina.officina.is displa. different levels of ma.imum potentia. qua.tum efficiency(Fv/Fm) resilience to current a.d future winter MHWs scena.ios. Our study revea.ed tha. ongoing a.d future loca. winter MHWs will not nega.ively a.fect lea.ing-edge popula.ions of C. officina.is,which exhibited sta.le photosynthetic efficiency throughout the study. Tra.ling edge popula.ions showed a.positive though non-significa.t trend in photosynthetic efficiency throughout winter MHWs exposure. Polewa.d a.d equa.orwa.d popula.ions did not produce significa.tly different results, with winter MHWs ha.ing no nega.ive a.fect on Fv/Fm of either popula.ion. a.ditiona.ly, we found no long-term regiona. or popula.ion-level influence of a.winter MHWs on this species' photosynthetic efficiency. Thus, we found no sta.istica.ly significa.t difference in therma. stress responses between lea.ing a.d tra.ling popula.ions. Nonetheless, C. officina.is showed a.trend towa.ds higher stress responses in southern tha. northern popula.ions. Beca.se responses rest on a.va.iety of loca. popula.ion tra.ts, they a.e difficult to predict ba.ed solely on therma. pressures.
