Low-cost dopant-free fluoranthene-based branched hole transporting materials for efficient and stable n-i-p perovskite solar cells

It has been widely recognized that hole transporting materials(HTMs) play a key role in the rapid progress of perovskite solar cells(PVSCs). However, common organic HTMs such as spiro-OMe TAD not only suffer from high synthetic costs, but also usually require the additional chemical doping process to improve their hole transport ability, which unfortunately induces the terrible stability issue. Therefore, it is urgent to develop low-cost dopant-free HTMs for efficient and stable PVSCs. In this work, we have successfully developed a new class of efficient dopant-free fluoranthene-based HTMs(TPF1–5) with quite low lab synthetic costs by combining donor-acceptor and branched structure designs. The detailed structure-property study revealed that tuning the twisted arms at different substitution sites would regulate the intermolecular interactions and film-forming ability, thereby significantly affecting the performance of the HTMs. By applying these HTMs in conventional PVSCs, the dopant-free TPF1-based devices not only achieved the best efficiency of 21.76%, which is comparable to that of the doped spiro-OMeTAD control devices, but also showed much better operational stability, which maintained over 87% of the initial efficiency under maximum power point tracking after 1038 h.

Heart failure(HF)is a clinical hallmark of cardiovascular syndrome leading to substantial morbidity,repeated hospitalization,and enormous healthcare *** elderly populations continue to increase,biomarker-guided diagnosis and treatment for age-related cardiac decline have become *** evidence demonstrates that n-terminal proBnP(nT-proBnP)can provide a unique window into the diagnosis and risk stratification with ***,a simple yet robust aptasensor is developed for on-site recognizing the nT-proBnP by its targeting aptamer,thus achieving the accurate diagnosis of *** aptasensing system is prepared by absorbing the fluorophore-labeled aptamer strand onto the graphene oxide(GO),leading to efficient quenching without possible off-site signal *** aptamer strand can specifically identify target nT-proBnP molecules via a versatile conformational transformation,resulting in the desorption of the aptamer-nTproBnP complexes from GO and re-generation fluorescence signal,thus allowing sensitive detection of nT-proBnP in 37 clinical blood *** advantage of the high specificity of aptamer-guaranteed recognitions of nT-proBnP,this aptasensor system readily achieves better diagnostic performance for HF than commercially adopted chemiluminescence immunoassay(Siemens,CLIA)in hospitals in terms of accuracy(89.2%vs 83.8%),specificity(89.5%vs 84.2%),and positive predictive value(88.9%vs 83.3%).This work provides a stable option for the diagnosis and treatment of elderly HF-related diseases inclinics.

With the excessive use of fossil fuels leading to significant CO2 emissions, and the continuous increase of nOx in water bodies and soils, the use of electrochemical methods for the conversion of CO2 and nOx has garnered widespread attention as a green chemical approach due to its advantages of being environmentally friendly, low-carbon, and straightforward. C-n bonds are widely present in many value-added chemicals, such as urea, amides, and oximes. However, traditional methods for constructing C-n bonds typically involve thermochemical processes. Therefore, using electrochemical methods to catalyze the reduction of CO2 and nOx for C-n bond formation has emerged as a green and sustainable alternative. This paper summarizes the research progress of electrochemical C-n bond construction involving CO2 and nOx from the perspectives of reaction mechanisms and catalytic system construction, reviews the electrochemical synthesis of urea, amines, amides, and oximes through electrochemical C-n bond construction, and finally analyzes the current problems and challenges in the field, providing prospects for its future development.

In this paper,a new type of bamboo scrimber column embedded with steel bars(rebars)was proposed,and the compression performance was improved by pre-embedding rebars during the preparation of the *** effects of the slenderness ratio and the reinforcement ratio on the axial compression performance of reinforced bamboo scrimber columns were studied by axial compression tests on 28 *** results showed that the increase in the slenderness ratio had a significant negative effect on the axial compression performance of the *** the slenderness ratio increased from 19.63 to 51.96,the failure mode changed from strength failure to buckling failure,and the maximum bearing capacity decreased by 43.03%.The axial compression performance of the reinforced bamboo scrimber columns did not significantly improve at a slenderness ratio of 19.63,but the opposite was true at slenderness ratios of 36.95 and *** the reinforcement ratio increased from 0%to 4.52%,the bearing capacity of those with a slenderness ratio of 51.96 increased by up to 16.99%,and the stiffness and ductility were also ***,based on existing specifications,two modification parameters,the overall elastic modulus Ec and the combined strength fcc,were introduced to establish a calculation method for the bearing capacity of the reinforced bamboo scrimber *** calculation results were compared with the test results,and the results showed that the proposed calculation models can more accurately predict the bearing capacity.

Structured-illumination reflectance imaging provides a new means for food quality detection. This original work investigated the capability of Structured-illumination reflectance imaging technique coupled with multivariate chemometrics to evaluate the microbial contamination in pork inoculated with Pseudomonas fluorescens and Brochothrix thermosphacta during storage at different temperatures. The prediction performances based on different spectrum and the textural features of direct component and amplitude component images demodulated from the SIRI pattern images， as well as their data fusion were comprehensively compared. Based on the full wavelength spectrum (420 – 700) nm of amplitude component images， the orthogonal signal correction coupled with support vector machine regression provided the best predictions of the number of Pseudomonas fluorescens and Brochothrix thermosphacta in pork， with the Rp2values of 0.870 and 0.906， respectively. Besides， the prediction models based on the amplitude component or direct component image textural features and the data fusion models using spectrum and textural features from direct component and amplitude component images cannot significantly improve their prediction accuracy. Consequently， structured-illumination reflectance imaging can be further considered as a potential technique for the rapid evaluation of microbial contaminations in pork meat.

Flow-electrode capacitive deionization(FCDI)represents a promising approach for ion separation from aqueous ***,the optimization of spacer,particularly for nitrate-contaminated groundwa-ter systems,has often been *** research comprehensively investigates the influence of using a conductive(carbon cloth,CC)spacer on nitrate removal performance within FCDI system,comparing it to a non-conductive(nylon net,nn)*** both CC and nn FCDI systems,it is unsurprisingly that nitrate removal efficiency improved notably with the increasing current density and hydraulic retention time(HRT).Interestingly,the specific energy consumption(SEC)for nitrate removal did not show obvious fluctuations when the current density and HRT varied in both *** the auspiciously optimized process parameters,CC-FCDI attained a 20%superior nitrate removal efficiency relative to nn-FCDI,ac-companied by a notably diminished SEC for CC-FCDI,registering at a mere 28%of *** great improvement can be primarily attributed to the decrement in FCDI internal resistance after using con-ductive spacer,which further confirmed by electrochemical tests such as linear sweep voltammetry(LSV)and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).Upon prolonged continuous nitrate removal at the optimized conditions,the CC-FCDI system achieved a consistent 90%nitrate removal efficiency with a low SEC of 2.7-7.8 kWh/kg nO_(3)-n,underscoring its steady ***,this study highlights the pivotal importance of careful spacer design and optimization in realizing energy-efficient groundwater treatment via FCDI.

BACKGROUnD:Heatstroke has become a common emergency event in ***(PCT)is used as a biomarker of infection in the emergency department(ED),but its role in rhabdomyolysis(RM)following exertional heatstroke(EHS)remains ***:A retrospective cohort study enrolled patients with EHS from the intensive care unit(ICU).We collected RM biomarkers,inflammation markers,critical disease scores at admission,24 h,48 h,and discharge,and 90-day *** analysis,linear regression and curve fi tting were used to identify the relationship between PCT and ***:A total of 162 patients were recruited and divided into RM(n=56)and non-RM(n=106)*** was positively correlated with myoglobin(Mb),acute hepatic injury,disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC),Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA)score,and Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II(APACHE II)score,with correlation coefficients of 0.214,0.237,0.285,0.454,and 0.368,respectively(all Pnterestingly,the results of curve fi tting revealed a nonlinear relationship between PCT and RM,and a two-piecewise linear regression model showed that PCT was related to RM with an odds ratio of 1.3 and a cut-off ofng/*** analysis revealed that RM was associated with higher mortality compared to non-RM cases(P=0.0093).COnCLUSIOn:High serum PCT concentrations are associated with RM after EHS in critically ill *** PCT concentrations should be interpreted cautiously in patients with EHS in the ED.
