Pneumonia is a common lung disease that is more prone to affect the elderly and those with weaker respiratory ***,hospital medical resources are limited,and sometimes the workload of physicians is too high,which can affect their ***,a good medical assistance system is of great significance for improving the quality of medical *** study proposed an integrated system by combining transfer learning and gradient-weighted class activation mapping(Grad-CAM).Pneumonia is a common lung disease that is generally diagnosed using ***,in areaswith limited medical resources,a shortage of medical personnel may result in delayed diagnosis and treatment during the critical ***,overworked physicians may make diagnostic ***,having an X-ray pneumonia diagnosis assistance system is a significant tool for improving the quality of medical *** result indicates that the best results were obtained by a ResNet50 pretrained model combined with a fully connected classification layer.A retraining procedure was designed to improve accuracy by using gradient-weighted class activation mapping(Grad-CAM),which detects the misclassified images and adds weights to *** the evaluation tests,the final combined model is named Grad-CAM Based Pneumonia Network(GCPNet)out performed its counterparts in terms of accuracy,precision,and F1 score and reached 97.2%*** integrated system is proposed to increase model performance where Grad-CAM and transfer learning are ***-CAM is used to generate the heatmap,which shows the region that the model is focusing *** outcomes of this research can aid in diagnosing pneumonia symptoms,as themodel can accurately classify chest X-ray images,and the heatmap can assist doctors in observing the crucial areas.

Abnormal subchondral bone remodeling and its association with articular cartilage degradation in knees of type 2 diabetes patients

Type 2 diabetes （T2D） is associated with systemic abnormal bone remodeling and bone loss. Meanwhile, abnormal subchondral bone remodeling induces cartilage degradation, resulting in osteoarthritis （OA）. Accordingly, we investigated alterations in subchondral bone remodeling, microstructure and strength in knees from T2D patients and their association with cartilage degradation. Tibial plateaus were collected from knee OA patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty and divided into non-diabetic （n---70） and diabetes （n = 51） groups. Tibial plateaus were also collected from cadaver donors （n = 20） and used as controls. Subchondral bone microstructure was assessed using micro-computed tomography. Bone strength was evaluated by micro-finite-element analysis. Cartilage degradation was estimated using histology. The expression of tartrate-resistant acidic phosphatase （TRAP）, osterix, and osteocalcin were calculated using immunohistochemistry. Osteoarthritis Research Society International （OARSI） scores of lateral tibial plateau did not differ between non-diabetic and diabetes groups, while higher OARSI scores on medial side were detected in diabetes group. Lower bone volume fraction and trabecular number and higher structure model index were found on both sides in diabetes group. These microstructural alterations translated into lower elastic modulus in diabetes group. Moreover, diabetes group had a larger number of TRAP~ osteoclasts and lower number of Osterix~ osteoprogenitors and Osteocalcin~ osteoblasts. T2D knees are characterized by abnormal subchondral bone remodeling and microstructural and mechanical impairments, which were associated with exacerbated cartilage degradation. In regions with intact cartilage the underlying bone still had abnormal remodeling in diabetes group, suggesting that abnormal bone remodeling may contribute to the early pathogenesis of T2D-associated knee OA.

The law controlling domestic violence in Hong Kong was amended in 2008 and 2009 The revised law introduces a new injunction order which can mandate that abusers attend counseling programmes, and extends legal protection to same-sex couples. As the author have argued elsewhere, the changes in the law can create （gender/sexual） justice as both issues engage with traditional Han-Chinese culture. Nonetheless, with the implementation of the new machine, the following two questions still need to be addressed. Can the changes produce justice？ What is justice？ This paper investigates, in Deleuzean terms, how the machine of anti-domestic violence law in Hong Kong creates the becoming of justice. Hopefully, the examination of this issue can also shed light on the future development in China's Mainland of the law controlling domestic violence.

Improving smart contract search by semantic and structural clustering for source codes

The search for smart contract source codes has drawn research attention to fulfill developers’and researchers’***,the existing studies are not mature enough to address smart contracts’technical properties and *** paper proposes a system to improve the naive search for smart contract codes;for example,Etherscan has one keyword search feature without regard to the contract *** consider clustering smart contracts based on developers’preferences,which increases the probability that the resulting source codes match developers’*** experimental results show a significant improvement in the complexity of the retrieved source codes of smart contracts compared with the baseline scenario using blockchain search engines(e.g.,Etherscan).Our solution reduces the number of retrieved smart contract codes the developer has to check if the codes match her/his needs by 94%,88%,82%,or 98%,depending on the user’s search preferences.

Support and Companionship in Virtual Communities: Establishing a COVID-19 Counseling Network for Soldiers and the Collective Healing Phenomenon

Counseling people,particularly those in the military engaged in group living,who are in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic is a ***,supporting the people in quarantine who are experiencing psy-chological and interpersonal problems has become a new challenge in military mental *** study’s primary concern was how to overcome the problems caused by physical *** study subject was a virtual coun-seling network and its operating experience during the quarantine period in Taiwan amidst the global COVID-19 *** soldiers who mainly live in groups,this study discussed how the virtual counseling network combined with the existing military support group to determine what inﬂuence the network had on peo-ple in *** study found that this group exhibited four types of experiences:togetherness,empathy,conﬁdence,and belonging and *** experiences are beneﬁcial for group healing through mutual sup-port and *** cohesion and psychological healing can be achieved through a virtual *** is worthy of attention,particularly in the pandemic or post-pandemic *** isolation has become a fact of life,and such isolation is not just isolation from disease but also between regional *** and support systems in virtual space or the operation of virtual teams must be considered for the future.

Who Invited Lu Xun to Hong Kong？： An Examination of Two Accounts and Some New Materials

Lu Xun visited Hong Kong in 1927 for two days and gave two very important lectures, but for several decades little was known about who made the invitation and who organized the trip. In 1981 Liu Sui claimed that it was Dr. Wong San-yin who invited Lu Xun, and Liu Sui himself was part of a reception team headed by Dr. Wong. In 1993 Zhao Jinsheng revealed that he was the person who had invited Lu Xun and organized his trip and lectures. Recently materials supporting both claims have been discovered and this paper examines these two claims, concluding that Zhao Jinsheng＇s account is more reliable.

Goblet Words and Indeterminacy： A Writing Style that Is Free of Commitment

The Zhuangzi is a collection of ancient Chinese anecdotes and fables that serves as a foundational Daoist text. The style in which it is written is significant because it obscures rather than reveals the text＇s philosophic positions. If the text cannot be translated into plain language while preserving its content, as the Mozi or the Mencius generally can be, then the writing style is not merely rhetorical. The style is itself indispensable to the content. In this study, I analyse a linguistic device mentioned in the Zhuangzi and use it to reflect the text＇s wn＇ting style——namely, ＂goblet words＂（zhi yan 巵言）. I argue that various logical forms of goblet words defy the act of fixing a definite answer in any conceptual distinction or disputation. The forms, which include dilemmatic questions, oxymora and double denial, all serve to preserve indeterminacy. Reading goblet words may affect readers by making them more open-minded towards distinctions. However, readers cannot ascertain that the text＇s authors produced this effect intentionally. Therefore, the text may cause readers to be open-minded while the authors remain free of commitment.

Comparison between oxide-reduced and water-atomized copper powders used in making sintered wicks of heat pipe

Oxide-reduced copper powder can be produced efficiently at low cost. The volume shrinkage, porosity, maximum pore size, permeability and thermal conductivity of wicks sintered from two oxide-reduced （OR） powders were compared with one from water-atomized （WA） powder. The green specimens were sintered at temperatures from 800 to 1000 ℃ in a tube furnace under a reduction stream of 10% hydrogen and 90% argon. The results show that the property variations of OR - 100 and WA wicks due to porosity changes have a similar tendency and range. Nine hundred degree celsius is a recommended sintering temperature for producing ideal wicks for use in heat pipes. A smaller maximum pore size can be obtained by increasing the green density.2007 Chinese Society of Particuology and Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
