A quasi-physical algorithm for solving the linear separation problem in n-dimensional space

A quasi physical algorithm was proposed for solving the linear separation problem of point set in n dimensional *** original idea of the quasi physical algorithm is to find an equivalent physical world for the primitive mathematical problem and to observe the vivid images of the motion of matter in it so as to be inspired to obtain an algorithm for solving the mathematical problem. In this work, the electrostatics with two kinds of matter is found to be the equivalent physical world. As a result,the proposed algorithm is evidently more efficient and robust than the famous LMS algorithm and ETL algorithm. The efficiency of the quasi physical algorithm is about 10-50 times of the LMS algorithm’s for representative instances. A typical Boolean valued instance shows that it is hard for ETL algorithm but very easy for the quasi physical *** this instance, point set A and B is {000, 010, 011, 111} and {001,100}, respectively.

The key ingredient for promoting software reuse in a repository base integrated development environment, is to provide support for the software developer who wants to search the repository to locate and retrieve suitable software components for reuse. This paper presents that reusable software components form a base to provide a flexible representation of component adaptability to any repository with a specific classification. As an alternative, it proposes to automatically identify and convert the component source code with all its information into a standard form, so that components can be transferred from one type of library to another.

As a new direct metal prototyping technology,the hybrid plasma and laser deposition manufacturing (PLDM) is proposed in this paper. In order to figure out the characteristics of plasma arc beam and mould in the PLDM process of high temperature alloy, the high speed CCD camera is used to obtain the picture around the plasma arc. Afterwards the sketch of picture is clearly obtained. And the effect of laser parameter, such as average power, pulse width, pulse repetition frequency and the angle between laser beam and plasma arc beam on the plasma arc appearance, is studied experimentally. The results show that the modality of plasma arc beam is markedly influenced by laser beam. And the improvements of shape precision and surface state of the layer deposited by PLDM are confirmed.

Network storage increase capacity and scalability of storage system, data availability and enables the sharing of data among clients. When the developing network technology reduce performance gap between disk and network, however, mismatched policies and access pattern can significantly reduce network storage performance. So the strategy of data placement in system is an important factor that impacts the performance of overall system. In this paper, the two algorithms of file assignment are presented. One is Greed partition that aims at the load balance across all NADs (Network Attached Disk). The other is Sort partition that tries to minimize variance of service time in each NAD. Moreover, we also compare the performance of our two algorithms in practical environment. Our experimental results show that when the size distribution (load characters) of all assigning files is closer and larger, Sort partition provides consistently better response times than Greedy algorithm. However, when the range of all assigning files is wider, there are more small files and access rate is higher, the Greedy algorithm has superior performance in compared with the Sort partition in off-line.

In hybrid wireless sensor networks, sensor mobility causes the query areas to change dynamically. Aiming at the problem of inefficiency in processing the data aggregation queries in dynamic query areas, this paper proposes a processing approach for event-based location aware queries （ELAQ）, which includes query dissemination algorithm, maximum distance projection proxy selection algorithm, in-network query propagation, and aggregation algorithm. ELAQs are triggered by the events and the query results are dependent on mobile sensors＇ location, which are the characteristics of ELAQ model. The results show that compared with the TinyDB query processing approach, ELAQ processing approach increases the accuracy of the query result and decreases the query response time.

Most popular applications currently running on the Internet, the World Wide Web is of an exponential growth in size, which results in network congestion and server overloading. In this paper, we analyze the characteristics of SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) and the state-of-art techniques, which have been used in WebGIS. Then, the basic characteristics of DM3.database system were introduced; Furthermore, a novel N-tier WebGIS architecture based on SOAP and the framework supported both server-based and client\|based solutions are proposed. Finally, some experiments and implementations are shown.

Recently, there is an increasing use of CORBA implementation in developing multidatabase systems. MIND and Panorama are some of the examples of multidatabase prototypes that have been implemented on the top of CORBA compliant namely ObjectBroker and VisiBroker respectively. They both aim to achieve interoperability among Oracle, Sybase and other different DBMSs through the registration of these DBMSs to them using CORBA. This registration to a CORBA based multidatabase system offers an advanced way in achieving *** first introduce Panorama multidatabase system and discuss the basic implementation decisions in registering different DBMSs using the CORBA compliant ORB, namely VisiBroker to this system. Then, it aims to discuss the method we've used in registering different DBMSs to our designed multidatabase system Panorama. A detailed discussion about the registration of Oracle8 and Sybase is given. And finally, a conclusion and the future work for this system have been given.

This paper defines a new relation--little strong happened-before（LSHB） and presents the algorithm for LSHB. Compared with strong happened-before （SHB） and weak happened- before （WHB）, LSHB supports keeping-read-result and ensures definite sufficiency of testing. Equivalence partitioning the set of SYN-sequences based on LSHB can efficiently reduce the number of testing SYN-sequences. The case studies prove that LSHB has high practicability.
