In this paper, we consider a newsvendor model in which a risk-averse manager faces a stochastic price-dependent demand in either an additive or a multiplicative form. An emergency purchase option is allowed after the realization of demand to satisfy the units that are short. By adopting Conditional value-at-risk （CVaR） as the decision criterion, we aim to investigate the optimal pricing and ordering decisions, and the effects of parameter changes in such a setting. We provide sufficient conditions for the uniqueness of the optimal policy for both demand models. We perforl~, comparative statics analysis to show how the optimal pricing and ordering decision behaves when changing parameters. We also compare our results with those of the newsvendor with a general utility function and with CVaR criterion under lost sales assumption. Our key results include：（i） For both demand models, the optimal selling price is decreasing in risk aversion. Hence, the optimal price of a risk-averse newsvendor is not greater than the optimal price of a risk-neutral newsvendor. （it） In contrary to the lost sales case, for the multiplicative demand model, the optimal order quantity may not be monotonic in risk aversion. Consequently, the optimal risk-averse order quantity may be lower or higher than the optimal risk- neutral counterpart. （iii） For the additive model, the optimal order quantity is strictly increasing in the emergency purchase price, while for the multiplicative model the optimal order quantity has no such a monotonic property. Some numerical examples are conducted to verify our claims and gain more insights about the risk-averse decision-making behaviors.

From the theoretical point of view, the states of manufacturing resources can be monitored and assessed through the amount of infor- mation needed to describe their technological structure and operational state. The amount of information needed to describe cellular manufacturing systems is investigated by two measures: the structural entropy and the operational entropy. Based on the Shannon entropy, the models of the structural entropy and the operational entropy of cellular manufacturing systems are developed, and the cog- nizance of the states of manufacturing resources is also illustrated. Scheduling is introduced to measure the entropy models of cellular manufacturing systems, and the feasible concepts of maximum schedule horizon and schedule adherence are advanced to quantitatively evaluate the effectiveness of schedules. Finally, an example is used to demonstrate the validity of the proposed methodology.

The value-added tax(VAT)in china is levied and allocated based on the origin *** the background of the increasing substitution of online retail for traditional offline retail,this mechanism will exacerbate the disparity of regional tax revenue,and intensify tax competition among local ***,reconsidering the allocation mechanism of value-added tax in china can be an important policy decision,and it is influenced by various economic and social ***,we utilize large-scale retail transaction data from an e-commerce platform to measure regional disparities in retail and consumption among different regions and then reveals present tax policy results in revenue imbalance in different ***,we establish a model based on game theory to illustrate how the origin principle leads to fierce tax competition among ***,by establishing and solving tax allocation models between local governments and the central government,this study simulates and calculates the degree of revenue imbalance under different scenarios and attempts to propose policy *** results indicate that implementing the destination principle will reduce regional tax ***,adjusting the allocation ratio between the central government and local governments based on city levels is advantageous for further reducing regional tax revenue disparities.

Due to recent changing environmental requirements affecting manufacturing operations,increasing attention is given to developing environmental management strategies for the supply chain. Lithium metal batteries(LMBs)have been extensively investigated during the past decades because of their ultrahigh energy *** the increasing demand for energy density,however,the safety issue of LMBs has become a significant *** particular,localized areas of increased temperature(namely,hotspots)may be induced and even exacerbated within LMBs by uneven current distribution,internal short circuits,or inadequate heat dissipation,which significantly sacrifices battery safety and cycle ***,we report the rational design and fabrication of a fast thermal responsive separator capable of inhibiting the growth of lithium dendrites and mitigating thermal propagation,thereby reducing the risk of thermal *** as-achieved separator comprises both an electrospun membrane using a phase change material with superior thermal-storage ability and a thermally conductive modification layer of hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets with a fast heat-transfer *** is demonstrated that such a unique integration of heat conduction and heat storage enables the functional separator with attractive abilities to mitigate hotspots and inhibit the growth of lithium dendrites upon the cycling of ***,pouch cells with the thermal-responsive separator,as well as numerical simulations,verify much enhanced safety and cycle life of *** work may offer a new conceptual design of intelligent separators that acts as a functional unit encapsulated within a single cell to boost in-situ thermal management,which will help to develop high-safety and energy-dense LMBs.

As the volume of healthcare and medical data increases from diverse sources,real-world scenarios involving data sharing and collaboration have certain challenges,including the risk of privacy leakage,difficulty in data fusion,low reliability of data storage,low effectiveness of data sharing,*** guarantee the service quality of data collaboration,this paper presents a privacy-preserving Healthcare and Medical Data Collaboration Service System combining Blockchain with Federated Learning,termed *** system is composed of three layers:Data extraction and storage,data management,and data *** on healthcare and medical data,a healthcare and medical blockchain is constructed to realize data storage,transfer,processing,and access with security,real-time,reliability,and *** improved master node selection consensus mechanism is presented to detect and prevent dishonest behavior,ensuring the overall reliability and trustworthiness of the collaborative model training ***,healthcare and medical data collaboration services in real-world scenarios have been discussed and *** further validate the performance of FL-HMChain,a Convolutional Neural Network-based Federated Learning(FL-CNN-HMChain)model is investigated for medical image *** model achieves better performance compared to the baseline Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),having an average improvement of 4.7%on Area Under Curve(AUC)and 7%on Accuracy(ACC),***,the probability of privacy leakage can be effectively reduced by the blockchain-based parameter transfer mechanism in federated learning between local and global models.

The Bachu （巴楚） uplift is one of the most active tectonic regions nowadays in the Tarim basin, which is also a faulted block uplift that was intensively active during the Cenozoic. This study was based primarily on the geological structure interpretation of seismic profiles, applying the theories and methods of basin dynamics, structural analysis and tectono-stratigraphic analysis, the geometry and kinematics features of the fault systems in the Bachn uplift were analyzed in detail. Our study shows that each fault belt is mainly characterized by compression and overthrusting, most of the faults initiated and activated during the Mid-Late Himalayan period, and that the general structural styles of the Bachu uplift were basement-involved pop-up thrust faulted block uplift, of which the southern margin was covered by the large-scale decollement fault system. The basement-involved structures widely developed in the higher position of the basement uplift, while decollement fault system developed mainly at the position with gypsum mudstone. The evolution process of Bachu uplift included back-bulge slope of the peripheral foreland basin in Mid-Late Caledonian, forebulge in HercynianYanshanian and the latest compressional faulted block uplift in Mid-Late Himalayan. Meanwhile,the study also suggests that the formation, reconstruction and stabilization of the uplift were controlled by the development and evolution of fault systems clearly. In the early forebulge stage, it was mainly presented as flexural deformation without the developing of thrust faults in the Bachu area; to the late stage, under the influence of violent lateral compression deformation, the faulted block uplift formed finally.

Introduction:This study investigated the lagged correlation between Baidu Index for influenza-related keywords and influenza-like illness percentage(ILI%)across regions in *** aim is to establish a scientific foundation for utilizing Baidu Index as an early warning tool for influenza-like illness ***:In this study,data on ILI%and Baidu Index were collected from 30 provincial-level administrative divisions(PLADs)spanning April 2014 to March *** Baidu Index was categorized into Overall Index,Ordinary Index,Prevention Index,Symptom Index,and Treatment Index based on search query *** lagged correlation between the Baidu Index and ILI%was examined through the cross-correlation function(CCF)***:Correlating the Baidu Overall Index of 30 PLADs with ILI%revealed CCF values ranging from 0.46 to 0.86,with a median lag of 0.5 *** analysis indicated that the Prevention Index and Symptom Index exhibited quicker responses to ILI%,with median lags of−9 and−0.5 days,respectively,compared to 0 and 3 days for the Ordinary and Treatment *** median lag days between the Baidu Index and the ILI%were earlier in the northern PLADs compared to the southern ***:The Prevention and Symptom Indexes show promising predictive capabilities for influenzalike illness epidemics.
