BACKGROUND Cognitive impairment(CI)is common in patients with heart failure(HF),but the association between CI and biomarkers related to HF or cognitive decline in patients with HF remains *** This prospective observational study investigated the incidence of CI,subsequent cognitive changes,and the asso-ciation between CI and novel biomarkers in patients with left ventricular ejection fraction1621.1 pg/mL was significantly associated with CI(area under the curve=0.64;P=0.003).An increase in GDF-15 per 1000 units was associated with an increased risk of the primary endpoint(hazard ratio=1.42;95%confidence interval:1.17-1.73;P<0.001).CONCLUSIONS In patients with HF with CI,cognitive function,depression,and quality of life measures improved at the 3-month and 1-year ***-15 predicted CI with moderate discrimination capacity and was associated with worse HF out-comes.

Entrapment of the burr within calcified lesion is an uncommon, but serious complication during rotational atherectomy and usually needs surgical retrieval. We report a case series of this complication and also review the possible mechanisms, such as kokesi phenomenon or insufficient pecking motion with decreased rotational speed. We also review the potential techniques ever proposed to rescue this complica-tion percutaneously, including simple manual traction, balloon dilation to release the trap, snaring the burr as distal as possible for forceful local traction and wedging the burr with a child catheter to facilitate retrieval. Gentle pecking motion of the burr for sufficient ablation and shortening the run less than 15 s may avoid such complications. Interventional cardiologists using the rotablator should be familiar with the tips and tricks to avoid and rescue this complication.

Most real estate agents develop new objects by visiting unfamiliar clients, distributing leaflets, or browsing other real estate trading website platforms,whereas consumers often rely on websites to search and compare prices when purchasing real property. In addition to being time consuming, this search processrenders it difficult for agents and consumers to understand the status changes ofobjects. In this study, Python is used to write web crawler and image recognitionprograms to capture object information from the web pages of real estate agents;perform data screening, arranging, and cleaning;compare the text of real estateobject information;as well as integrate and use the convolutional neural networkof a deep learning algorithm to implement image recognition. In this study, dataare acquired from two business-to-consumer real estate agency networks, i.e., theSinyi real estate agent and the Yungching real estate agent, and one consumer-toconsumer real estate agency platform, i.e., the, FiveNineOne real estate agent. Theresults indicate that text mining can reveal the similarities and differences betweenthe objects, list the number of days that the object has been available for sale onthe website, and provide the price fluctuations and fluctuation times during thesales period. In addition, 213,325 object amplification images are used as a database for training using deep learning algorithms, and the maximum image recognition accuracy achieved is 95%. The dynamic recommendation system for realestate objects constructed by combining text mining and image recognition systems enables developers in the real estate industry to understand the differencesbetween their commodities and other businesses in approximately 2 min, as wellas rapidly determine developable objects via comparison results provided by thesystem. An artificial intelligence technique of back-propagation neural networks is used to assess the slope ***-site slope failure data from the South Cross-Island Highway in southern Taiwan are used to test the performance of the neural network *** numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of artificial neural networks in the evaluation of slope failure potential based on five major factors,such as the slope gradient angle,the slope height,the cumulative precipitation,daily rainfall and strength of materials.

This paper presents a human action recognition method. It analyzes the spatio-temporal grids along the dense trajectories and generates the histogram of oriented gradients （HOG） and histogram of optical flow （HOF） to describe the appearance and motion of the human object. Then, HOG combined with HOF is converted to bag-of-words （BoWs） by the vocabulary tree. Finally, it applies random forest to recognize the type of human action. In the experiments, KTH database and URADL database are tested for the performance evaluation. Comparing with the other approaches, we show that our approach has a better performance for the action videos with high inter-class and low inter-class variabilities.

Using the cluster tilting theory,we investigate the tilting objects in the stable category of vector bundles on a weighted projective line of weight type(2,2,2,2).More precisely,a tilting object consisting of rank-two bundles is constructed via the cluster tilting ***,the cluster tilting approach also provides a new method to classify the endomorphism algebras of the tilting objects in the category of coherent sheaves and the associated bounded derived category.

This article focuses on the tensile and compressive characteristics of a Ti-based bulk metallic glass composite （BMGC）. It is found that the yield stress, maximum strength, and fracture strain are 1380 MPa, 1516 MPa, and 4.3% for uniaxial tension, but 1580 MPa, 4010 MPa, and 29% for uniaxial compression, respectively. The composite displays a linear ＂work hardening＂ capacity under compression; however, the ＂work softening＂ behavior is observed in the true engineering stress-strain curve upon tensile loading. The fracture surfaces of specimens also exhibit dissimilar properties under the different loadings.

γ-TiAl alloys,including two categories（the conventional TiAl and the high Nb-containing TiAl（high Nb-TiAl））,are technologically intriguing because of their applications at high ***,the service temperature of the high Nb-TiAl alloys is 60-100℃higher than that of conventional TiAl *** developed TiAl alloys,for example TNB,TNM,β-γ alloys,belong to the high Nb-TiAl alloys,displaying similar behavior in phase transformation,strengthening,oxidation at high temperatures,and relationships between composition,microstructure,and mechanical *** work presents an in-depth review of the high Nb-TiAl alloys regarding the advances in phase diagram,formation mechanism of the new γ_1 phase,microsegregation induced by adding a high content of alloying element Nb,and the mechanism of the B2/ω phase *** challenges in developing the high Nb-TiAl alloys are also discussed.

This report presents the case of a 59-year-old man with severe COVID-19 that gradually progressed to cytokine release syndrome and then acute respiratory distress syndrome;he was successfully treated via integration of therapeutic plasma exchange and traditional Chinese *** patient initially presented with a sore throat,severe muscle aches,productive cough and *** the worsening of symptoms,remdesivir was ***,as the symptoms continued to worsen and a cytokine release syndrome was suspected,oxygen was provided through a high-flow nasal cannula(50 L/min)and therapeutic plasma exchange was performed to prevent worsening of the acute respiratory distress *** the same day,a course of traditional Chinese medicine was introduced in consultation with the infectious house *** patient’s symptoms gradually improved;the levels of C-reactive protein and D-dimers reduced,and the patient was weaned to a simple oxygen mask and eventually to room *** is the first reported case of the integration of these ***,they prevented the patient from requiring intubation,played a role in cytokine management,and also improved the clinical symptoms,including productive purulent sputum,cough,frequent stool passage and intermittent fever,with no adverse *** a result,the patient was discharged within two weeks of the integration of these ***,the integration of therapeutic plasma exchange and traditional Chinese medicine is an effective therapy for patients with severe COVID-19.

Microstructure and microsegregation of directionally solidified Ti-45Al-8Nb alloy were investigated by scanning electron microscopy（SEM）,transmission electron microscopy（TEM） and electron probe microanalyzer（EPMA）.For the alloy solidified at the solidification rates（v） ranging from 10 to 400 μm·s^（-1）,the microstructure of the mushy zone exhibits a cellular-dendritic structure at lower growth rate（v=10-50 μm·s^（-1）） and a typical dendritic morphology at higher growth rate（v = 100-400 μm·s^（-1））.The relationship between primary dendrite arm spacing（λ_1）and v is λ_1=1.08×10~3v^（-0.35）.Al and Nb elements segregate at interdendritic zone and in the dendritic core,*** solid of mushy zone,a relatively flat concentration profile is observed for the typical dendrite structure,and Nb enriches in B2 phase induced by β→α＋β*** content of B2 phase is hardly affected by *** extent of microsegregation in steady-state zone decreases at a lower growth rate because holding the samples at higher temperature after solidification for a long time can homogenize the solid effectively.
