Colonic intussusception and gastrointestinal duplication are diseases that arise in young children. The clinical presentation of adult cases of intussusception and enteric duplication is non-specific and thus poses a diagnostic challenge. A computed tomography (CT) scan is recommended in adult cases as the most sensitive diagnostic tool and the pathognomonic finding of outer intussuscepiens and central intussusceptum is diagnostic. A septum of a duplicated colon in a non-intussuscepted segment has been rarely reported in the literature. With advancements in radiological imaging technology and the increased availability of CT scanners, the capacity for a correct pre-operative diagnosis has been significantly enhanced. Our current case report illustrates the importance of considering an uncommon etiology for enteric intussusception and duplication as a differential diagnosis of acute abdomen in an adult patient. Our analyses of this patient also highlight the successful use of CT scanning to make this diagnosis.

This paper aims to probe the influence of innovation spillovers in the artificial intelligence(AI)and financial technology(Fin-tech)industries on the value of the internet of things(IoT)*** was utilized to download public information from Yahoo Finance,and then the GARCH model was used to extract the fluctuations of cross-industry innovation ***,the Fama–French three-factor model was used to explore the interactive changes between *** panel data regression analysis indicates that the more firms accept innovation spillovers from other industries,the better the excess return;however,this effect differs because of industrial attributes and the environmental changes induced by ***,this study finds that investing in large-cap growth stocks of IoT firms is more likely to yield excess ***,the study yields lessons for policy leverage to accelerate the upgrading and transformation of innovation-interactive industries by referring to the practices of Singapore and South Korea.

Tea is a widespread functional plant *** such as tea polyphenols(TP)can interact with the intestinal flora and participate in regulating the expression and rhythm of biological clock *** rhythm controls a variety of behaviors and physiological processes,and circadian misalignment has been found to be closely related to multiple metabolic ***,the gut microbiota also has diurnal fluctuations,which can be affected by diet composition and feeding rhythm,and play a role in maintaining the host’s circadian *** two-way relationship between the host’s circadian rhythm and intestinal microbiota confirms the possibility that prebiotics or probiotic can be used to adjust the intestinal environment and microbiome composition to improve the host *** article reviews the relationship between the host’s circadian rhythm and microbiota and its influence on metabolic *** beneficial effects of the interaction between TP and gut microbiota on diseases related to rhythm disorders are emphasized to improve the theories of disease prevention and treatment.

Purpose: To devise a rapid method of isolating the plasma membrane enriched fraction (PMEF) of the bovine retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells with Percoll cen-trifugation *** : The bovine RPE was homogenised with a tight fit Dounce homogeniser and centrifuged in a 16. 7% Percoll gradient for 20 minutes. The RPE particulate fractions were characterised in terms of their protein concentrations, Na/K-ATPase and bicarbonate stimulated ATPase *** ; The total protein recovery was 88.7% of the RPE homogenate. The nucleus layer was identified at the first band. The mitochondrial fraction was at the second layer according to its bicarbonate stimulated ATPase activity. The 3rd and 4th bands were enriched with plasma membranes and their Na/K-ATPase activities were 31. 5 and 34.6 μmol/mg/h respectively. Tea as the most consumed beverage in the world has received enormous attention for its promoting health *** deleterious effect ofα-dicarbonyls and AGEs formed in Maillard reaction is also a longterm *** connection between the two topics was the main aim of this review,to address and update the antiglycation effect and mechanism of tea and tea *** analyzing recent publications,we have covered across chemistry models,cell lines and animal *** polyphenols,particularly catechins,showed outstanding antiglycation effect by trappingα-dicarbonyl compounds and impeding AGEs *** of carbonyl stress brought alleviation to aging,diabetes,and collagen related diseases or complications through regulation of RAGE expression and subsequent MAPK and TGF-β***,tea polyphenols can serve as promising natural candidates in the treatment and/or prevention of nephropathy,retinopathy,hepatopathy,hyperglycemia and obesity among others,by their potent antiglycation *** studies need to address on aspects like exact mechanisms,solution of detection obstacles,balance of practical usage and harmful effects such as potential flavor damage and toxicity in food,to gain a comprehensive understanding of antiglycation activities of tea polyphenols and its actual application.
