Basonuclin(BNC1)is expressed primarily in proliferative keratinocytes and gametogenic ***,its roles in spermatogenesis and testicular aging were not *** we discovered a heterozygous BNC1 truncation mutation in a premature ovarian insufficiency *** this study,we found that male mice carrying the truncation mutation exhibited progressively fertility loss and testicular premature ***-wide expression profiling and direct binding studies(by chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing)with BNC1 in mouse testis identified several spermatogenesis-specific gene promoters targeted by BNC1 including kelch-like family member 10(Klhl1O),testis expressed 14(Tex14)9 and spermatogenesis and centriole associated 1(Spatcl).Moreover,biochemical analysis showed that BNC1 was associated with TATA-box binding protein-associated factor 7 like(TAF7L),a germ cell-specific paralogue of the transcription factor IID subunit TAF7,both in vitro and in testis,suggesting that BNC1 might directly cooperate with TAF7L to regulate *** truncation mutation disabled nuclear translocation of the BNC1/TAF7L complex,thus,disturbing expression of related genes and leading to testicular premature ***,expressions of Y-box-binding protein 2(YBX2),outer dense fiber of sperm tails 1(ODfl),and glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase,spermatogenic(GAPDHS)were significantly decreased in the testis of men with non-obstructive *** present study adds to the understanding of the physiology of male reproductive aging and the mechanism of spermatogenic failure in infertile men.

AIM To investigate the association between a recent gastrointestinal(GI) endoscopy and the subsequent risk of pyogenic liver abscess(PLA).MeTHODS We designed a nested case control study. Using the Taiwan National Health Insurance Research Database, 2135 patients with a first diagnosis of PLA were identified from 1998 to 2011. Another 10675 patients without PLA matched by age and sex were selected as reference controls. We identified and compared the possible risk factors for PLA and GI endoscopies performed before the index date(when PLA was diagnosed) between the two cohorts. Multivariate analysis was conducted to examine the risk of PLA within the 90 d after the GI *** Patients with a history of diabetes [adjusted odds ratio(a OR) = 4.92, 95%CI: 1.78-13.61], end-stage renal disease(a OR = 3.98, 95%CI: 1.45-10.91), biliary tract infection(a OR = 2.68, 95%CI: 2.11-3.40), liver cirrhosis(a OR = 2.19, 95%CI: 1.39-3.46), GI malignancies(a OR = 5.68, 95%CI: 4.23-7.64), appendicitis(a OR = 3.16, 95%CI: 2.27-4.41), diverticulitis(a OR = 1.64, 95%CI: 1.01-2.64), and recent endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(a OR = 27.04, 95%CI: 11.65-62.72) were significantly associated with an increased risk of PLA. After adjusting for the above risk factors and the frequency of outpatient department visits and abdominal ultrasounds during 90 d before the index date, an upper GI panendoscopy(a OR = 2.75, 95%CI: 2.05-3.69) but not a lower GI endoscopy(a OR = 1.07, 95%CI: 0.62-1.86) was significantly associated with *** An upper GI panendoscopy performed before 90 d may increase the risk of PLA.

The special any-polar resistive switching mode includes the coexistence and stable conversion between the unipolar and the bipolar resistive switching mode under the same compliance *** the present work,the any-polar resistive switching mode is demonstrated when thin Ti intercalations are introduced into both sides of Pt/HfO_(2)/Pt RRAM *** role of the Ti intercalations contributes to the fulfillment of the any-polar resistive switching working mechanism,which lies in the filament constructed by the oxygen vacancies and the effective storage of the oxygen ion at both sides of the electrode interface.

Realtime trigger and localization of bursts are the key functions of GeCAM,an all-sky gamma-ray monitor launched on 2020 December *** developed a multifunctional trigger and localization software operating in the CPU of the GeCAM electronic *** onboard software has the following features:high trigger efficiency for real celestial bursts with a suppression of false triggers caused by charged particle bursts and background fluctuation,dedicated localization algorithm optimized for both short and long bursts,and low time latency of the trigger information which is downlinked through the Global Short Message Communication service of the global BeiDou navigation *** paper provides a detailed description of the design and development of the trigger and localization software system for *** covers the general design,workflow,the main functions,and the algorithms used in the *** paper also includes on-ground trigger tests using simulated gamma-ray bursts generated by a dedicated X-ray tube,as well as an overview of the performance for real celestial bursts during its in-orbit operation.

The electron–ion recombination for phosphorus-like^（112） Sn^（35＋）has been measured at the main cooler storage ring of the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou, China, employing an electron–ion merged-beams technique. The absolute total recombination rate coefficients for electron–ion collision energies from 0 e V–14 e V are presented. Theoretical calculations of recombination rate coefficients were performed using the Flexible Atomic Code to compare with the experimental results. The contributions of dielectronic recombination and trielectronic recombination on the experimental rate coefficients have been identified with the help of the theoretical calculation. The present results show that the trielectronic recombination has a substantial contribution to the measured electron–ion recombination spectrum of^（112）Sn^（35＋）. Although a reasonable agreement is found between the experimental and theoretical results the precise calculation of the electron–ion recombination rate coefficients for M-shell ions is still challengeable for the current theory.

We present the observational results from a detailed timing analysis of the black hole candidate eXO 1846-031 during its outburst in 2019 with the observations of Insight-HXMT,NICeR and *** outburst can be classified roughly into four different ***-C quasi-periodic oscillations(QPOs)observed by NICeR(about 0.1-6 Hz)and Insight-HXMT(about 0.7-8 Hz)are also reported in this ***,we study various physical quantities related to QPO *** QPO rms-frequency relationship in the energy band 1-10 keV indicates that there is a turning pointing in frequency around2 Hz,which is similar to that of GRS 1915+105.A possible hypothesis for the relationship above may be related to the inclination of the source,which may require a high inclination to explain *** relationships between QPO frequency and QPO rms,hardness,total fractional rms and count rate have also been found in other transient sources,which can indicate that the origin of type-C QPOs is non-thermal.

To verify the performance of the neutron total cross-sectional spectrometer, the neutron total cross section of carbon is initially measured in the energy range of 1 eV to 20 MeV using the time-of-flight method. The measurement is performed at the Back-n white neutron source with a 76-m time-of-flight path using the China Spallation Neutron Source. A multilayer fast fission chamber with 235U and 238U is employed as the neutron detector. The diameter and thickness of the natural graphite sample are 70 mm and 40 mm, respectively. Signal waveforms are collected using a data acquisition system. Off-line data processing was used to obtain the neutron time-of-flight spectra and transmissions. The uncertainty of the counting statistics is generally approximately 3% for each bin in the energy range of 1–20 MeV. It is determined that the results for the neutron total cross section of carbon obtained using ^235U cells are in good agreement with the results obtained using 238U cells within limits of statistical uncertainty. Moreover, the measured total cross sections show good agreement with the broadening evaluated data.
