Recalescence Behavior, Solidification Characteristics and Microstructure Transformation of Rapidly Solidified Undercooled Cu-based Alloys

The undercooled solidification microstructures of Cu55Ni45,Cu55Ni43Co2,and Cu60Ni38Co2 Cu-base alloys were obtained by fluxing *** infrared temperature measuring device,the law of the change of the recalescence degree with the increase of the undercooling during rapid solidification was *** the same time,high-speed camera was used to capture and photograph the images of solid/liquid interface migration during rapid solidification of undercooled melt,and the morphology evolution of solidification front was ***,the microstructure morphology and transformation process of the Cubased alloys were systematically *** is found that the microstructure morphology of the alloys goes through the same evolution process and appeared two grain refinement phenomena,that is,“coarse dendrite-equiaxed grain-oriented fine dendrite-equiaxed grain”.But its characteristics undercoolingΔT_(1),ΔT_(2),and critical undercoolingΔT^(*)*** backscatter diffraction(EBSD)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)were used to characterize the grain refinement structure with high *** results show that the grain refinement structure with high undercooling presents a very high proportion of high angle grain boundaries,the grain orientation is random and there is no high strength texture,and a large number of annealing twins,which indicates that recrystallization occurs in the *** results show that dislocation network and stacking fault density are relatively low in most areas of grain refinement structure with high undercooling,which can confirm the theory that stress induces recrystallization of the structure.

Improved Pattern Clustering Algorithm for Recognizing Transversal Distribution of Steel Strip Thickness

Transversal distribution of the steel strip thickness in the entry section of the cold rolling mill seriously affects to the flatness and transversal thickness precision of the final products. Pattern clustering method is introduced into the steel rolling field and used in the patterns recognition of transversal distribution of the steel strip thickness. The well-known k-means clustering algorithm has the advantage of being easily completed, but still has some drawbacks. An improved k-means clustering algorithm is presented, and the main improvements include：（1） the initial clustering points are preselected according to the density queue of data objects; and （2） Mahalanobis distance is applied instead of Euclidean distance in the actual application. Compared to the patterns obtained from the common kmeans algorithm, the patterns identified by the improved algorithm show that the improved clustering algorithm is well suitable for the patterns＇ recognition of transversal distribution of steel strip thickness and it will be useful in online quality control system.

Mitochondria play a kay role in various cell processes including ATP production, Ca^2＋ homeostasis, reactive oxygen species （ROS） generation, and apoptosis. The selective removal of impaired mitochondria by autophagosome is known as mitophagy. Cerebral ischemia is a common form of stroke caused by insuf- ficient blood supply to the brain. Emerging evidence suggests that mitophagy plays important roles in the pathophysiological process of cerebral ischemia. This review focuses on the relationship between ischemic brain injury and mitophagy. Based on the latest research, it describes how the signaling pathways of mitophagy appear to be involved in cerebral ischemia.

A 62-year-old male patient was admitted to our hospital due to severe chest pain,odynophagia,and *** computed tomography showed an esophageal submucosal ***(EGD) revealed a longitudinal purplish bulging tumor of the *** ultrasound(EUS) showed a mixed echoic tumor with partial liquefaction from the submucosal *** patient was diagnosed with esophageal intramural hematoma as well as achalasia by upper gastrointestinal endoscopy,esophagography and esophageal *** patient was managed conservatively with intravenous nutrition,and oral feeding was ***-up EGD and EUS showed complete recovery of the esophageal wall,and finally,the patient underwent endoscopic dilatation for *** patient was symptom free at the time when we wrote this manuscript.

Mendelian randomization analysis of causal relationship between cheese intake and diabetic retinopathy

AIM:To assess whether there is a possible causal link between the intake of cheese and the risk of diabetic retinopathy(DR)utilizing a two-sample Mendelian randomization(MR)***:The research data were obtained from summary statistics of genome-wide association studies(GWAS).Genetic loci closely related to cheese intake were extracted as instrumental variables(IVs),and DR was the outcome *** data were extracted from individuals of European *** data of cheese intake consisted of 451486 samples with 9851867 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs),while the DR data consisted of 206234 samples with 16380446 ***-one genetic loci closely related to cheese intake were selected as *** analysis was performed by inverse-variance weighted(IVW)method and MR-Egger regression *** causal relationship between cheese intake and DR was evaluated using odds ratios(ORs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs).Egger-intercept test was used to test horizontal pleiotropy and sensitivity analysis was performed by leave-one-out ***:The P value of the IVW method was less than 0.05,indicating a significant negative correlation between cheese intake and ***-Egger regression showed that the intercept was 0.01 with a standard error of 0.022,and a P-value of 0.634,indicating no evidence of horizontal pleiotropy affecting the IVs related to the exposure ***,heterogeneity tests confirmed the absence of heterogeneity,and the“leave-one-out”sensitivity analysis demonstrated that the results were ***:Cheese intake is causally negatively correlated with the occurrence of DR,and cheese intake could reduce the risk of DR.

Optical Absorption of Sol-Gel Derived ZnO/TiO_(2) Nanocomposite Films

ZnO/TiO_(2) nanocomposite films on quartz substrates were prepared by the sol-gel method, and the corresponding optical absorption properties were investigated. In the ultraviolet region, it was found that the position of fundamental absorption edge partially depends on the composition of the ZnO/TiO_(2 ) films, and shifts toward a shorter wavelength with the increasing content of ZnO in the films. Moreover, a blueshift of the absorption edge resulted from a quantum size effect and the quantum confinement effect was observed in the ZnO/TiO_(2) system.
